Suicide Awareness Prevention UK (SAPUK) is a dedicated, non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), established in 2016, focused on providing support to individuals dealing with suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Our goal is to guide people from distress toward hope, helping them regain the strength to live their lives to the fullest.

Overview
 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraising Volunteer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and a commitment to achieving fundraising goals. The Fundraiser will engage with various stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community members, to promote our cause and secure financial support.

Duties

• Develop and execute fundraising campaigns that align with the organisation's objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors through effective communication and engagement strategies.
• Utilise software tools such as Raiser's Edge for tracking donations, managing donor information, and reporting on fundraising activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that highlight fundraising initiatives.
• Organise fundraising events, including planning logistics, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring successful execution.
• Conduct outreach efforts to engage the community and raise awareness about the organisation's mission.
• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and fostering positive relationships.
• Monitor market trends in fundraising to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising or a related field is preferred.
• Strong skills in relationship management and public relations.
• Proficiency in using software tools such as Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

About White Ribbon Alliance UK

White Ribbon Alliance UK is an intersectional feminist charity working to end gender-based violence and advance gender equity in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We focus especially on marginalised and underrepresented communities.

Through research, advocacy, training, and systems change, we centre the voices of women, girls, and trans and non-binary people across the lifecycle of sexual and reproductive health. Our programmes are grounded in intersectional feminist values and led by lived experience.

About the Role

We are recruiting Campaign & Fundraising Volunteers to support the charity in achieving its fundraising goals for the annual The Big Give's  Women & Girls Match Fund. It is a national campaign to raise £20,000 to fight medical misogyny in gynaecological and perinatal care. All donations made through our campaign page will be matched up to the first £5,000 raised by The Big Give, and we would like to find corporate or individual donors who are willing to match donations as well, or make one-off donations of their own.

Our project team consists of experts in social media marketing, campaign content creation, graphic design, digital communications, and project administration. We now need additional volunteer to support donor outreach and fundraising efforts — helping us build relationships, increase visibility, and reach new supporters before and during the campaign week, or to run small fundraisers locally in your community. 

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll join a small, supportive team and contribute in ways that suit your skills and capacity. Depending on your interests, tasks may include:

Donor Outreach & Fundraising

• Reaching out to individual, corporate, or high-value donors

• Helping us recruit and liaise with influencers who care about women's and girls' reproductive health

• Writing or editing outreach messages, talking points, and thank-yous

• Coordinating small peer-led fundraisers (e.g. bake sales, quiz nights, digital events)

• Helping us track responses, donations, and follow-ups

We’ll provide all materials, templates, and guidance — you’ll never be left to figure it out alone.

About the Role:

As a Community Fundraising Organiser, you will be responsible to putting on a minimum of two events in your local area to help raise awareness and funds for the crucial work we do at the NSPCC.

You can use your personal passions and interests to set up any event that interests you (within reason). This could be a challenge event – like a sunrise walk, a monthly club – like a running or book club or anything else. The flexibility is really there – if you are struggling with ideas, a Community Fundraising Manager will be there to help you along the way! 

This role offers a unique opportunity to turn your passion or interest into something that helps fund the fight to end cruelty to children.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Organize and manage fundraising events in your local area, such as charity challenges, social clubs, or awareness campaigns.
• Use your creativity to design events that engage your community and align with your personal interests, whether it's a sunrise walk, a running or book club, or any other fun and impactful activity.
• Promote NSPCC's mission and work, educating your community on the importance of protecting children and supporting the fight to end cruelty to children.
• Collaborate with the NSPCC fundraising team for guidance, resources, and support to ensure your event's success.
• Foster relationships within your local community to encourage long-term support for NSPCC's cause.

Across the UK, our 270 local groups play a vital part in supporting people affected by MS. They provide sense of belonging, unity and friendship. And they deliver services and support for their local MS community.

We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Volunteer for the Stockport and South East Manchester Group. As our Fundraising Volunteer you’ll support your Group Coordinator to organise local fundraising activities and events throughout the year.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your organisation, communication and team working skills. Most importantly you’ll inspire your local community to raise funds that help make sure no one has to face MS alone.

Time Commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

It Gets Better UK is a lived-experience-led LGBT+ youth charity, working to tackle the disproportionate mental health challenges LGBT+ young people face today, through a collection of community-sourced, lived-experience stories; educational programs; and community-building initiatives.

About Victory Afghanistan

Victory Afghanistan is a grassroots charity registered in Chicago as a US 501c3. We are entirely volunteer led and currently provide free, high quality online education and mentoring to more than 800 girls and young women in Afghanistan. In a country where gender apartheid has barred them from secondary school, university and careers, we are determined to keep education alive.

Our programme delivers six levels of English instruction through our online academy, followed by three mentoring pathways which lead to online scholarships, international scholarships and career readiness for remote work. We are powered by over 100 volunteers from 27 countries who bring their skills, energy and compassion to this mission.

The Opportunity

We are now seeking several Volunteer Project Managers – Fundraising to join our international team from now until November 2025.

Dive into lasting impact: Fundraise for East London Waterworks Park to create and shape natural swimming ponds, ecological habitats and community gardens

East London Waterworks Park is a volunteer-led charity that has won a 2024 New London Architecture award and raised £2m towards buying land from the Department for Education to transform the 14-acre Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road on the border of Waltham Forest and Hackney, into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming ponds, forest schools and community spaces. 

Do you have experience organising events, or would you like to get some? Our past fundraising activities have included pub quizzes, a photography competition and exhibition, sale of locally made jeans and more. If you’re buzzing with ideas of how to raise money or are keen to get stuck in and help to make some events happen, we would love to hear from you.

The Fundraising Circle currently meets fortnightly on a Thursday evening on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely. We understand that people may not have a lot of time to give, so we want to find volunteers who could give us one-off or ongoing strategic advice and support.

East London Waterworks Park is an exciting and ambitious project that offers many rewarding opportunities for our volunteers. You will have a significant impact on the creation of a new biodiverse community-owned park with free access natural swimming ponds and forest schools. 

By leading fundraising projects that explore how diverse professionals (architects, ecologists, web developers, community researchers etc.) collaborate to shape community infrastructure, volunteers will directly contribute to the development of a park that truly reflects the needs and desires of the local community. 

Without funding we won’t be able to make it happen. Your input will help us craft experiences that inspire, educate, and engage our service users, stakeholders, funders, and the general public, ultimately driving support for the park's mission and ensuring its long-term sustainability. So you will be directly contributing to the creation of a new biodiverse community-owned park with free access natural swimming ponds.

We are currently recruiting for a Fundraisers for our newly formed not for profit which provides fully qualified mental assistance dogs for those in need across Northamptonshire.

Ideally this would be a great role for someone who looking to gain some experience having been out of the business for a while and looking for someone to grow with us or someone is newly qualified in this area

About us

SurvivorsUK exists for men and non-binary people who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual assault or rape, or any survivor who thinks we’re the right service for them.

We support – by providing services such as a helpline, counselling, ISVA and groupwork.
We challenge – by raising public awareness of the issue, and dispelling myths
We build – by creating and facilitating networks for better access to help

We provide emotional support, information and signposting to survivors and anyone worried about someone they know, through a national website and webchat service (open until 8pm most evenings). Last year, 2,600 people contacted us via our webchat services and social media.

In London, we are the only organisation providing specialist services for men and boys, including individual counselling and therapeutic group work. Across London, we provide the capital’s only Independent Sexual Advisor (ISVA) Service that helps men and boys through the criminal justice system.

Purpose of Role

Time Commitment

Usually there are six Board of Trustee meetings and one AGM per year. In addition, Trustees are expected to be part of a Board sub-committee.

Board meetings are generally held in the evening.

Trustees are also expected to attend occasional training and public or private events, e.g. supporter/fundraising events, strategic away days etc.

What we need from you

• face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins 
• online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations
• marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press
• completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork

What we're looking for

We're looking for enthusiastic, creative and organised people across Bedfordshire to be a Community Fundraising Volunteer. Around 90 per cent of our income comes from our supporters and we couldn't continue doing what we do without them. That means, our community fundraising volunteers play a really important part in rallying people together to raise vital funds which help to protect children and prevent abuse.

What you'll do

You'll volunteer without regular time commitments, ‘as and when' volunteering! Engage with the public, organisations and local communities – promoting a positive image of the NSPCC! You'll be a valued part of one of our Volunteer Community Fundraising Teams across the UK, raising awareness and funds. We appreciate that work, family and friends come first and, with that in mind, this role offers flexibility to fit in with your lifestyle. You only need to commit to a couple of hours a month, but if you want to do more that would be great.

Be part of something special and volunteer at MS Walk Glasgow. Join an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2025 bigger and better than ever.

The 2025 event will have around 350 participants who will be walking through Glasgow on either the 1km, 5km,10km or 20km route.

Together these participants will be hoping to raise over £40,000 for the MS Society to help support the MS Community.

There are various roles available on the day from making some noise and encouraging our walkers, to looking after the route and handing out medals at the finish.

Join our team of MS Walk volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS.

You'll be required on Saturday 13th September 2025 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2-5 hours depending on role and location.

There are no specific skills required just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.’
