Our website provides information to thousands of people, not just those living with BPD but also their families, partners, friends and colleagues/employers. We also provide information to health and social care professionals. 

We are looking for a creative and passionate web developer to help us create a brand new website that will be user-friendly, mobile-friendly and enable us to support more people in need.

WEB DEVELOPER

• We are looking for a Web Developer who is proficient in using Bubble.io to update design of the website, fix bugs and improve UX.
• Volunteer 4-6 hours per week for 3-5 months.

Numberfit is a social enterprise that makes learning maths fun and engaging for children across age groups and attainment levels. 

We are looking for a gameplay designer to help us improve our educational games. This role involves enhancing gameplay mechanics and designing innovative games that can be enjoyed by children and families. These games are often games that have both a physical and digital component (working alongside our software developer)

You will also be working alongside our founder as part of our small team.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing constructive feedback and innovative suggestions for improving the design and user experience of the game.

• Designing and prototyping new gameplay mechanics, features, and challenges.

• Helping test the game to identify areas for improvement.

• Working closely with artists and developers to implement design elements into the game.

Key qualifications include:

• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Great attention to detail.

• Strong research abilities to identify potential improvements to a game.

• An interest in games, including board games, location based games, pervasive games, computer games etc. Previous experience in game design, preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Teenage Helpline is an online peer-to-peer mentoring service for young people. We can act as the first stepping-stone for young people who do not feel comfortable seeking support for themselves, or who need a listening ear to help them cope with personal issues.

About the role

The Digital Innovations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the delivery of value for Teenage Helpline through research of emerging technologies, development of proof of concepts and the delivery of new solutions through technology identified. The role involves communication with other Teenage Helpline team leads; managing team workload; creating an opportunities-based technology plan for the charity; researching technology opportunities; overseeing communication and awareness of technology; liaising with departments to develop use cases and developing solutions.

You’ll be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experiences, streamline processes, introduce new workflows and ultimately drive charity growth.

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with IT Project Managers to ensure digital innovations projects are assigned, worked on and project requirements are understood.
• Exploring new opportunities with low/no code products such as those in the Microsoft portfolio, making the most of opportunities to provide more value for the charity. 
• Forecasting work through research and creation of development plans.
• Promote best practices such as adhering to the project's software development lifecycle requirements.
• Planning initiatives and tracking associated timelines.
• Management of Digital Innovations Team, ensuring work is allocated, managed and tracked effectively.
• Reporting key updates and results to the CIO.
• Identify opportunities for new solutions and improvements in Teenage Helpline’s IT infrastructure and operations.
