The postholder will develop and lead fundraising and partnerships, raising crucial funds to support MumsAid’s growth. We are looking for an experienced, versatile fundraiser who can hit the ground running, bring a holistic approach and work with a range of donors and funders to help MumsAid develop a sustainable income pipeline. 

This role has strategic accountability for fundraising and managing funder relationships. You will lead our competitive tendering and grant application work, and develop our corporate partnerships.

This is a part-time post, flexible on location, although some travel within the UK may be required. The role will provide support at fundraising events, requiring some occasional evening and weekend commitments (for which time in lieu will be granted).

Main Duties 

Leadership and Management: 

· Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board (particularly the Fundraising and Marketing Subgroup) to proactively identify potential sources of funding and realise opportunities for growth. 

· Devise and develop appropriate strategies, produce and deliver strong proposals and pitches. 

· Provide knowledge of current fundraising practice and develop a consistent working strategy that is sustainable.

· Assist in informing long-term financial/business planning and clarifying priorities. 

· Support the SLT and Board in developing a comprehensive framework for reporting on the charity’s impact, including to funders. 

Oversee and support monitoring submissions.

Fundraising:

· Develop, implement and evaluate a fundraising strategy in line with MumsAid’s priorities, to include key areas of focus – fundraising from trusts and foundations, statutory fundraising, corporate fundraising, to secure c. £500k over the next 2 years.

· Research, formulate and write applications, bids and tenders, including to statutory funders and trusts and foundations, coordinating with other team members for input as necessary.

· Build strong relationships with existing and potential funders, partners and stakeholders.

· Write reports for funders to meet deadlines and submit further applications for existing funders where appropriate.

· Work with the SLT and Board to develop and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders, partners and corporate organisations to ensure good communication about organisational/project progress, address any issues that arise, and identify new income streams. 

Organisational and General Duties: 

· Maximise fundraising efficiency by using and developing our CRM to ensure there is a clear process for recording and managing fundraising activity. 

· Contribute to the financial planning, budgeting and management accounts process. 

· Contribute to the development of MumsAid’s understanding and communication of our Return on Investment (ROI).

· Report regularly on KPIs, monitoring and evaluating against social impact and ROI. 

· Develop and manage a reporting schedule for the Board and funders to ensure monitoring and reporting is in done in an effective manner in line with organisational priorities, tracking restricted and unrestricted income, project development and targets. 

· Maintain awareness of fundraising and charity law and ensure that activity adheres to relevant legislation and guidance. 

Communications and Marketing: 

Liaise with colleagues to help shape and implement our marketing and communications plan, ensuring our reputation is upheld and our knowledge is shared through positive, consistent and accurate communications and messaging.

Key Experience and Skills:

· Proven track record of working with trusts and foundations, corporate and statutory funders, including expertise in writing applications and stewarding grants.

· Experience of major donor fundraising.

· Ability to bring creative ideas to the table that mirror our strategic direction.

· Financial literacy and management experience, confidence in working with budgets, creating a financial narrative, and working with databases.

· Demonstrably outstanding written communication skills with the ability to write compelling copy, tailored to a range of audiences and platforms. 

· Proven track record of building positive relationships with funders, partners, volunteers, and supporters; you may already have a network of relationships this role could benefit from.

· Articulate speaker, able to present and repackage complex information in succinct and digestible format.

· Microsoft Office proficient, Proficient with Word, Excel and able to put together PowerPoint presentations.

· Ability to develop strategies, operational plans and KPIs in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. 

· Excellent working knowledge of voluntary sector funding streams.

· Excellent teamwork skills but with the ability to work independently. 

· Proactive and confident in using own initiative and prioritising workloads.

Desirable Experience and Skills: 

· Experience of representing an organisation externally, e.g., through presentations, events, conferences. 

· Experience of working closely with communications and/or marketing to optimise fundraising and profile-raising opportunities.

· Experience in using a CRM system to support relationship management and reporting.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts, developing relationships, building and managing cross organisational and corporate partnerships, and expanding our network to support and enhance our programmes. The core function of the role will be to help lead the organisation as it looks to expand its services and capacity to serve those with learning disabilities.

Over the last few months, CPF has been looking into upcoming tender opportunities and recently finished a feasibility study which has provided recommendations on some of the most viable partnership opportunities and expanded service provisions that could play a vital role in moving forward. These are built around three main priority areas – sustaining and expanding the advocacy service, building long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with other organisations that result in additional service provisions, and expanding the use of the current premise to create a warm and welcoming space throughout the week and into the evenings.

The Director will be expected to take on some of the current conversations and plans around the three priority areas of the advocacy service, partnerships and creating a warm and welcome space; identifying the most viable way to bring in sustainable funding for these. The Director will be responsible for fundraising and income generation and they will be expected to identify grants and funding opportunities and varied income generation sources for the organisation. They will also develop fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, identify funding, write bids and explore grant opportunities to ensure the charity has the resources to fulfil its mission.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Therapy Service Manager (Job Share) to co-lead our passionate therapy team at Headway East London. The Therapy Service Manager is responsible for leading the therapy team to plan and deliver an excellent service which empowers our community of brain injury survivors. This role is a job share and covers the following aspects of the Headway East London Therapy Service: Enfield Brain Injury Service (Enfield) and our Hackney-based Day Service.

As Therapy Service Manager, you will lead the delivery of therapy services within both the Day Service and Enfield, ensuring high standards, consistency, and a strong sense of purpose across the team. You will play a vital role in the growth and development of the therapy offer across all of Headway East London, working closely with your job share partner and the Director of Services (Clinical Lead) to shape and expand our provision.

Purpose of Post

The Community Fundraiser will lead on efforts to develop and grow community fundraising initiatives and engage with schools, community groups, faith groups, and individuals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual with experience of community fundraising to deliver agreed income targets and deliver long term sustainability within community fundraising.

Main Responsibilities

Community Fundraising and Engagement

• Coordinate the delivery of community fundraising campaigns, initiatives, and events, ensuring high levels of participation and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, schools, faith groups, and individuals, encouraging their ongoing involvement and support
• Act as the main point of contact for community fundraisers, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them succeed in their fundraising efforts
• Develop and implement an events calendar of activity to include UK and overseas activities, Jessie May organised events, own place events and purchased places.

Volunteer Fundraising Support

• Recruit, train, and support a network of volunteer fundraisers to support community fundraising activities.

Relationship Management and Stewardship

• Lead on the development and delivery of stewardship plans for community supporters, ensuring their efforts are recognised and celebrated.
• Maintain accurate records of community supporters and events in the CRM system, tracking engagement and financial contributions.

Conditions, including but not limited to the following:

• Checks: The appointment is subject to satisfactory references, DBS check and a probationary period of six months. 
• Salary:  £28,840 - £32,917 per annum, pro-rata depending on experience. Salaries are reviewed annually, at the discretion of the Trustees, where the budget allows, with any increases effective from April. 
• Pension: There is a group personal pension scheme that you are entitled to participate in, subject to the rules of the scheme.  You will be automatically enrolled into the scheme, however there is the option to opt out.  The employer’s contribution is 5 per cent while the employee’s contribution is 4 per cent of the pensionable salary.

Service delivery

• Lead the day-to-day management of Ella’s safe houses, and outreach services

• Ensure all caseworkers provide high-quality, holistic support tailored to each woman’s needs

• Ensure casework systems are used consistently and effectively across the team

• Provide emotional support and hands-on casework guidance where needed

• Support wellbeing of all frontline staff in partnership with Ella’s HR Officer.

• Contribute to the recruitment and retention of a strong volunteer and intern team.

• Monitor and review demanding caseloads to support effective casework and prevent burnout.

Service development and partnerships

• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in service delivery.

• Implement structural changes to improve quality and efficiency of support.

• Build and maintain local partnerships within the VAWG and anti-trafficking sectors.

• Represent Ella’s at operational-level partnership and multi-agency meetings.

• Contribute to the development of service-related policies, ensuring input from staff and survivors.

Key responsibilities:

The role is primarily homebased and will have regular travel around the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire area for internal meetings and visiting beneficiaries, therefore you will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area. There will also be occasional travel nationally to attend training or meetings.

A valid UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement for this role.

What you do
Main purpose of post
This is a senior and strategic role in our fundraising team. You will be
responsible for leading the development and delivery of our Individual Giving
strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income from individual donors. You
will oversee the retention and stewardship of existing supporters and
implement creative, data-led campaigns to attract new donors across multiple
channels. You will line manage the Legacy and In Memory Manager, supporting
their growth and the success of these high-value income streams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Planning
 Lead the development and execution of a multi-year Individual Giving
strategy.
 Develop and deliver an annual work plan to achieve agreed income
targets.
 Use data insights and donor segmentation to shape compelling and
effective campaigns.

Campaign Management
 Plan, manage, and evaluate a portfolio of Individual Giving campaigns
including:
o Regular giving
o Payroll giving
o Charity lottery
o Online and offline donor acquisition
 Test and implement new fundraising approaches to increase donor
conversion and value.
 Ensure all communications reflect the charity’s tone, values, and brand.

Donor Retention and Stewardship
 Design and implement supporter journeys that deepen donor
engagement and loyalty.
 Work with our Marketing Manager to oversee donor communications to
specific audience groups and stewardship activity, ensuring a positive
supporter experience.
 Monitor donor behaviour and lifetime value to inform stewardship and
upgrade strategies.

Legacy and In Memory Giving
 Provide strategic oversight of legacy and in-memory income streams.
 Line manage and support the Legacy and In Memory Manager to deliver
agreed targets and KPIs.
 Support the development of a legacy marketing plan to grow our legacy
pipeline.
 Support development of relationships with legacy pledgers and inmemory
donors

Budgeting and Performance
 Manage income and expenditure budgets for Individual Giving.
 Track and analyse campaign performance against KPIs and ROI targets.
 Maximise all gift aid opportunities within the agreed audiences.
 Report regularly to the Head of Fundraising on performance,
opportunities, and risks.

Cross-Team Collaboration
 Work with Communications, Digital, and Data colleagues to ensure
campaigns are well-coordinated, data-driven, and creatively delivered.
 Champion best practice in data protection and ethical fundraising.
 Stay informed on sector trends, regulations, and innovations in individual
giving.
 Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s
CRM (Raiser’s Edge)

Women at the Well is a support service for women based in the King’s Cross area of central London. We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation.
