The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager sits within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.

You will play a central role in building the evidence base on what works to support young people into good jobs.

Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.

• You will work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates, you will assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations.
• You will manage a portfolio of projects, leading some directly, and overseeing others while supporting more junior colleagues.
• You will also contribute to strengthening our ‘evaluation architecture’, leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector.

This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer role is critical to the charity's long-term sustainability and is pivotal in ensuring our branches have the volunteers and guidance they need to support our clients going forward.

This is both an internal and external-facing role, focused on recruiting volunteers and developing initiatives that will streamline how we recruit and welcome new volunteers into our network of branches.

We are seeking an experienced volunteering officer, who has a strong background in both volunteer recruitment and project delivery. Experience in being part of a team going through a change programme involving volunteers is advantageous. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with project delivery and innovation. Building on the strategy that has already been prepared for you, you will work closely with our Volunteer Administration Officer and our Operations Manager to help REMAP support our branches across the UK.

The Opportunity

This hands-on role would suit an insightful, evidence driven researcher and monitoring and evaluation specialist and who is a strong partnership worker. Responsibilities

Working closely with the Warm Welcome Operations Director and wider team your primary responsibility will be to lead on research and impact evaluation to ensure that our strategic approach is driven by evidence. You would take ownership of specific tasks as required, including;

Research:

• Developing a research strategy for the Warm Welcome campaign to help to ensure we can meet our overall campaign strategy.

• Leading on the co-design of research projects to meet the needs of the Warm Welcome campaign and our partners. 

• Developing a research and insights hub for the Warm Welcome team where they can easily access the latest statistics on relevant topics such as poverty and loneliness.

• Supporting any individuals or organisations undertaking research on behalf of the Warm Welcome campaign to ensure it is of a high quality and rigorous standard.

• Ensuring high ethical standards and safeguarding are maintained in any research project related to the Warm Welcome campaign.

• Sharing the results of this research in reports and presentations where key evidence and learning is easy for others to understand 

• Offering training and support to the Warm Welcome team related to research.

Impact Assessment:

• Supporting the continuous development of our Impact framework.

• Leading the collection of high-quality data, via methods such as survey design, polling and qualitative interviews, with the wider Warm Welcome team and Spaces network to help us to monitor, evaluate, learn and develop our collective impact.

• Ensuring we collect data with Warm Welcome spaces at every stage of their journey in joining the network, i.e. when they register to join and at regular intervals once registered to ensure we understand their impact and their support needs. 

• Developing evaluation tools and systems to ensure the Warm Welcome team are easily able to capture evidence related to our impact framework.

• Offering training and support to the Warm Welcome team related to monitoring, evaluation, learning, development and impact assessment

• Leading on partnership work related to monitoring, evaluation, learning, development and impact assessment for the Warm Welcome team

• Being the go to person for key statistics and impact data within the Warm Welcome team to be used in our communications and reporting

Teamworking:

In Spring 2028, the National Gallery will launch a new, public-facing Research Centre to facilitate and showcase our world-leading research in the history and science of painting. The Group Volunteer Administrator reports into the Group Volunteer Manager and is responsible for the smooth operation of our group volunteer services. They will play a vital role within the volunteer function by ensuring the smooth running of the volunteer lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding. 

They will support the Group Volunteer Manager in the delivery of workshops to volunteer leads and ensure an overall positive experience for our volunteers.

The role

 This is a hands-on role: you’ll be directly creating content, running campaigns, and managing our operations.

Key responsibilities

 Marketing and Communications

• Plan, coordinate and deliver integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns and events to achieve income targets, ensure consistent messaging and strengthen supporter engagement across all channels.
• Work closely with the global communications team to deliver the organisation’s marketing and communications strategy in alignment with global objectives.
• Manage website content in WordPress, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and regularly updated.
• Oversee the social media strategy, creating and scheduling high-quality content (using Canva and Later) to grow brand awareness and supporter engagement.
• Manage ambassador and influencer relationships to support campaigns, storytelling, and reach.
• Design and deliver email campaigns and supporter newsletters through Mailchimp, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Stay up to date with trends, world events, and digital innovations to keep content and messaging relevant and impactful.

Fundraising

• Create and deliver engaging donor experiences, content and supporter journeys to maintain and grow long-term investor support and ensure a high-quality experience for all supporters.
• Collaborate with the CEO and global team to identify and develop new fundraising opportunities and audiences.

Unleashed Women – Community & Investor Stewardship

• Act as the primary staff relationship lead for the Unleashed Women community.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing stewardship of Unleashed Women members.
• Coordinate the planning, promotion and delivery of monthly virtual forums and quarterly in-person gatherings, working closely with the Executive & Operations VA on all logistics.
• Maintain regular communication and engagement with members through WhatsApp groups, email updates and event communications, ensuring consistent tone, warmth and responsiveness.
• Act as a key link between Unleashed Women and THP’s global country teams, ensuring meaningful programme engagement and feedback.
• Support retention and thoughtful growth of the community through relationship-led follow-up and investor care.
• Ensure all Unleashed Women activity is accurately reflected in Beacon and associated supporter systems.

Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain and manage the Beacon CRM database, ensuring accurate data capture, segmentation, and analysis to support effective fundraising, stewardship, and communications.
• Ensure all new and lapsed investors are correctly tagged and updated in Mailchimp, Beacon and other relevant systems.
• Evaluate and report on the performance of fundraising and marketing campaigns, interpreting data from CRM and digital platforms to measure impact and inform strategy.

Operations

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve key operational systems and processes to ensure efficiency and smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Coordinate and maintain fundraising platforms such as Benevity and JustGiving, ensuring campaign pages are accurate, up to date, and performing effectively.

Line Management

• Oversee the recruitment, coordination, and management of volunteers, ensuring they are well-supported, effectively deployed, and aligned with the organisation’s goals.

Preferred requirements

Experience

• At least eight years’ experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven success delivering multi-channel marketing and fundraising campaigns that meet or exceed targets.
• Confident in using and maintaining CRM systems (preferably Beacon) to manage supporter relationships and analyse data.
• Experience managing digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, and websites.
• Experience managing and developing team members, including supporting volunteers and junior staff.
