In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering projects that empower our volunteers to have a significant impact on the lives of those living with and affected by MND. Working closely with both volunteers and staff, you'll oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet their objectives and deadlines.

Your responsibilities will include project planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation all with the aim of maximising the positive outcomes of our volunteer initiatives. You'll engage with a diverse range of volunteers to identify and understand their skills and interests, matching them to appropriate projects and ensuring their involvement is meaningful and rewarding.

Collaboration is key! You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to implement projects effectively and manage change initiatives at both national and local levels. Monitoring and evaluation will also be part of your remit, as you assess the impact of volunteer projects and identify areas for improvement.

As our Volunteer Project Officer, you'll prepare regular reports to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and outcomes. Your ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships will be essential in this aspect of the role.

If you're someone who thrives on driving positive change and enjoys working in a collaborative environment, join us in our mission to make a real difference in the lives of those living with MND. Apply now to be part of our dedicated team.

We fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments and brings us closer to a cure for MND. The Association also campaigns and raises awareness so the needs of people with MND, and everyone who cares for them, are recognised, and addressed by wider society.

We are committed to equality and value diversity. We are working hard to remove perceived and actual barriers to participation for people with and affected by MND, current and future staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.

We guarantee interviews for disabled applicants that meet the requirements of the role as part of our commitment to the Disability Confident Scheme. Reasonable adjustments can be made as required.
