As an Assistant Community Shop Manager (ACSM) for St Giles Hospice you will support in leading a team of volunteers. You’ll be empowered to make decisions locally whilst working within a supportive framework. You’ll work within and for your local community ensuring that engagement and support is understood and promoted.
You’ll have good customer service skills and want to be part of a successful team. Ideally, you’ll have previous retail experience with the ability to manage and lead the store in the absence of the Community Shop Manager (CSM).
Reporting into the CSM and working closely with the Retail Regional Manager you will aid in supporting your store to run efficiently and deliver a positive financial contribution to the Hospice. You’ll also have the support of a Retail Regional Supervisor, available to provide store encouragement and development of best practice.

Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Outreach & Engagement Worker will deliver 2-4 daytime outreach sessions per week in Manchester alongside partners, colleagues and volunteers. They will also attend the Street Engagement Hub weekly to provide specialist support to women attending this multi-agency hub. They will provide brief interventions and casework support to women supporting their needs holistically.
You will work with other members of the MASH team to achieve the following outcomes:

Since 1991, MASH has been at the forefront of supporting women in and around Greater Manchester who are, have been or may start sex working and who are facing multiple disadvantage. We were founded as a social justice organisation, starting out as a grassroots, community led response to the HIV/AIDS crisis and we have continued to support women at the sharpest end of inequalities ever since.
Whilst the nature of sex work, the context in which we operate and the support we provide has changed dramatically over the last thirty years, one thing has remained constant: MASH continues to be a haven for some of the most marginalised women in Greater Manchester – women who fall through the gaps, are under served by mainstream services and face stigma, discrimination and multiple barriers to accessing the support they need. At MASH, we meet each woman where they are at and stay with them for as long as it takes for them to get to where they want to be. About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:
1. Conversion optimisation
· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.
· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.
2. User journey optimisation
· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.
· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.
3. Increasing reach and traffic generation
· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.
· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).
4. Testing to improve results continually
· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.
· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.
5. Digital project management
· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.
6. Campaign support
· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.
7. Gathering community feedback
· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.
8. Supplier collaboration
· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.
About you

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users.

The role

Main Responsibilities:
Lead on service delivery, management and governance
– To provide strong leadership for the service based on a clear vision for the service, clarity of standards and outcomes to be achieved.
– With the Head of CYP support the strategic development, planning and delivery of specialist services for children and families ensuring an effective co-ordinated offer for these families is in place and to develop new childcare settings as appropriate.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead on Media Trust’s 2024 calendar of fundraising and industry-facing events, including our upcoming 30th Birthday Fundraising Gala and support with other programme-related events.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable expertise in delivering successful fundraising and other events, working across multiple projects, and finding new and innovative ways to engage corporate supporters in fundraising events and campaigns.

Events Management

Manage end-to-end delivery of Media Trust events, campaigns and projects of varying size, format and complexity, both in person and virtually

Role Purpose
The Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) role will be a critical piece of our Community Programmes team, which provides support to founders at every stage of their startup journey. The Community Programme offering includes a roster of events including panels, masterclasses and workshops, as well as mentoring and coaching opportunities, and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities. Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers, including a cook, support worker, minibus driver, and sessional workers.
- Day-to-Day Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Elders Core Service, including the lunch club, transport, social sessions, and overseeing the one-to-one work of the core team.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide a hands-on program that builds on older people's strengths and potential.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Head of Programme.
- Budget Management: Ensure the program operates within budget constraints.
- Member Engagement: Support the planning of the core program with input from elder members and the wider team.
- Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support new and existing members (service users).
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Delivery
- Planning and Oversight: Ensure that all service output aligns with KLS' vision, mission, values, and charitable objectives. Organize and promote one-off activities throughout the year.
- Transport Management: Manage the transport offer, including route planning and pick-up schedules.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate activity records, registers, and casework notes for the core team.
- Outreach and Support: Conduct outreach work with older people in the community, oversee home visits, and manage a small caseload.
2. Staff and Volunteer Management
- Recruitment and Line Management: Recruit and manage the Outreach and Support Workers, Lunch Club Cook, and relevant social activities workers and volunteers.
- Performance Management: Use performance management and quality systems to monitor and evaluate the project's work and processes.
3. Relationships, Communication, and Networks
- Member Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with elder members.
- Communication: Oversee communication for the Core Programme, including newsletters, activities calendar, annual reports, and social media platforms.
- Meetings: Attend meetings on behalf of the Core Programme as required.
4. Finance
- Budget Management: Manage project areas to budget and maintain financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme.
5. Other Duties
- Professional Development: Participate in regular management supervision and annual appraisal. Identify job-related development and training needs.
- Professional Conduct: Professionally undertake roles, maintaining a high-quality standard of work in line with KLS's aims, values, and ethos.

As our Partnership and Engagement Manager, you will:
- Drive effective collaboration and partnership with other agencies including health, blue light and local government agencies to achieve shared goals.
- Identify and grow collaboration opportunities within the Prevention and Protection function.
- Lead, develop and oversee an impactful volunteer scheme.
- Coordinate community engagement initiatives through strategic partnerships with agencies and community groups.
- Support diversity, communication, and engagement agendas through strategic partnerships.
- Provide advice and support to Service managers on effective partnership development and maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior management and external bodies to drive collaborative initiatives.
You will have in-depth:
- Experience of managing partnership programmes or community services such as charity sector, volunteering or work experience schemes etc.
- Relationship building skills with ability to successfully liaise with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels; must be able to fluently interact with partners across public, corporate, and non-profit sectors.
- Experience of community engagement and working with individuals or groups in the community.
- Experience of translating concepts into sound business proposals with evidential benefits.
- Experience of managing a team.
You will also hold a current full driving licence with no pending issues and must be able to travel to partnership meetings as and when required.
