We are seeking an experienced and talented Head of Marketing and Communications to lead the Marketing and Communications Team at Tŷ Hafan.
About the role:
This is a very exciting time to join the team at Tŷ Hafan, having recently launched our Strategic Plan, which sets out our plans for achieving our ambition of supporting every family who needs our support.
The Marketing and Communications Team plays a crucial role in the delivery of our Vision of a Wales where no family faces the unimaginable loss of their child alone. Not only will this role contribute directly to our income generation activities, it will also play a crucial role in supporting Tŷ Hafan to reach more families and in recruiting and retaining talented and engaged people.
This role will lead the team to develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy that supports the organisation to reach more families, recruit and retain people and to sustain and grow income.
You’ll be responsible for the development and management of our brand, ensuring we position ourselves and communicate effectively with key target audiences, including overseeing the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns. You’ll also have the opportunity to help Tŷ Hafan to develop inspiring messaging and content that encourages action from key audiences.
You’ll provide leadership and direction to the whole team, supporting them to deliver against key plans and objectives and to optimise performance across the whole spectrum of online and offline channels.
About you:
If you have significant experience of leading a marketing and communications team to deliver against ambitious targets and objectives, we would love to hear from you. You will be organised, have excellent communication skills and have experience of a range of online and offline marketing and communications channels.
Experience of charity marketing and communications isn’t essential, but we would love to hear from candidates who have an understanding of how they would apply their skills and experience within a charity market.

About the Role
The Head of Youth Work is a dynamic and challenging senior management role that will lead a team of Youth Workers and oversee the universal youth work offer. We are looking for someone with creativity, ambition for young people, a can-do attitude, and a hands-on approach, all of which must be done to the highest standard.
You will hold overall responsibility for developing and delivering a vibrant, open-access Youth Zone for Grimsby and North-East Lincolnshire, serving up to 250 young people per session.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the delivery team, ensure an effective staff rota is in place and address any challenges such as holidays cover planning, absence, and performance.
- Ensure an inclusive, engaging, and up-to-date youth work programme is delivered

About You
You will have/have experience of:
- Proven track record leading open-access youth services creating a safe environment to deliver engaging programmes for diverse youth demographics (ages 8-19, up to 25 with additional needs/disabilities)
- Experienced in safeguarding, ideally as a designated Safeguarding Lead
- Demonstrates strong communication skills
- Experience managing clear behaviour standards and managing conflict between young people
- Proven leadership experience
- Proven track record in project management of youth programmes

Working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and East London Foundation Trust, IBIS House supports people who are medically fit for discharge from mental health inpatient stays but have other barriers to discharge. Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
This role is initially 3 months fixed term contract.
The shift pattern for this role is as follows: 10 x 8 hour shift pattern per fortnight, to include every other weekend.
What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
- Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
- Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, establishing a night time routine
- Supporting customers to maintain a healthy environment and where appropriate assisting them to clean their accommodation and maintain good personal hygiene
- Supporting customer with administering medication and prescription.
- Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
- Managing customer referrals, completing assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork

Summary of the role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the role will support the implementation of our 2030 Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with colleagues in Fundraising, Communications and Delivery Teams. The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining and growing Individual Giving, through key digital platforms. They will support the Head of Fundraising in researching and implementing new platforms as ADSS develops its fundraising capacity and capability.

Main purpose of job
The individual Giving Fundraiser will be responsible for the delivery of ADSS fundraising from individual donors, primarily through digital platforms.

Our supporters participate in a variety of events and have a range of motivations for giving to the Charity including families who are raising funds in memory of a loved one.

The Role Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy and Planning:

Donor Database Management:
·Maintain and update our donor database, ensuring accurate records of donations, communications, and engagement history.
·Analyse one-off and regular giving performance and optimise programmes based on insights

About this key role
Your role will be to provide young person centred holistic support – including everything from helping clients to understand their own behaviour and its consequences, and promoting change, to helping clients’ families to support them and providing practical help with attending appointments, education, training and employment options, housing, benefits, debt and other aspects of day-to-day living. You’ll be part of a client focused SOS Team delivering casework services, predominantly Monday-Friday during office hours, and within Islington (although other hours and deployments may be required). What we are looking for
• Significant experience of working with children, young people and/or vulnerable adults and delivering interventions that have had a positive impact – preferably in a health and wellbeing context and/or on an offender led support project.
• Experience of providing support, advice and advocacy, with the ability to assess clients’ needs.
• Extensive experience of managing complex safeguarding issues with children, young people and adults who are at risk of violence or exploitation, whilst working alone.
• Understanding of the physical, social, emotional and developmental needs of children and young people, their specific needs as they transition to legal adulthood, and the issues they face, e.g. exploitation, victimisation, offending, school exclusion, unemployment, trauma.
• Extensive knowledge of the impact of context – with a clear understanding of best practice around contextual safeguarding and those experiencing harm outside the home.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice in the context of working with children, young people and parents/carers impacted by violence and exploitation, and of how trauma –including from their own lives – can impact on how practitioners manage cases.
• Working knowledge of child protection and safeguarding legislation/policy, with experience of providing support, advice and advocacy to staff with a safeguarding responsibility.
• Understanding of the importance of good quality case recording quality assurance principles.
• Ability to use electronic case management systems to record all aspects of the role, including action plans, outcomes and session data on a day-to-day basis.
