In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively; handling safeguarding
- Taking a lead on rating the work readiness of the trainees and making sure data is inputted and used correctly on salesforce
- Liaising with volunteers for key programme engagement events such as mock interviews and external panels. Leading on briefings and communications with these volunteers
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees
Training the Graduate Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Graduate Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and possibly supporting on leading internal training such as Grad Coach Training
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run in partnership with a local church partner, you will establish a strong personal connection with the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will allow you to make a real difference to the lives of millions of people in the Middle East and North Africa. You will help to manage, maintain and increase income and engagement through the following key responsibilities:
·Work with the team to implement strategies for growing key areas of income and engagement with churches and individuals, maintaining prospect lists, communicating with churches to resource and increase engagement.
·To manage, motivate and support a diverse team in different geographical locations and working patterns.
·To assist with delivering the church partnership and media projects programme, inviting church leaders and churches to join, helping research, prepare and send project proposals, reports and associated resources.
·To analyse current church giving patterns and identify pathways to increase engagement, levels and forms of giving (including individual giving in conjunction with other team members).

About the Role
As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Area Manager, you'll lead and inspire a team of membership fundraisers based primarily in Essex and North London, with coverage across this vibrant area. Your leadership will play a crucial role in meeting ambitious fundraising targets while upholding the highest standards in ethical fundraising.
Please note that, given the travel associated with the role, applicants will require a valid drivers licence and be well-placed to reach all of this area.
This is a hands-on role-supporting, coaching, and motivating your team while also fundraising alongside them to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Fundraisers. Foster a positive team culture and lead by example to achieve fundraising targets.
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs including membership volumes, average donation amounts, Gift Aid uptake, and attrition rates. Conduct regular reviews and provide coaching to continuously improve performance.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily logistics of your team, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and alignment with RSPB values.
- Travel & Flexibility: Regular travel across the East and South East (and occasionally wider regions) is required. A full UK driving licence is essential. Weekend work will be expected as part of the role.

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Operations Assistant to support our team and ensure the smooth operation of our office. Dose of Nature
Dose of Nature is a mental health charity whose objective is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of individuals through increased engagement with the natural world. Our work is rooted in a wealth of scientific evidence that demonstrates the physiological and psychological benefits of spending time in nature. We deliver ‘nature prescriptions’ to people referred by their GP with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Wellbeing Support:
- Greet all guests, acting as the first point of contact between the team and external stakeholders visiting 1 Wharf Cottage, namely our clients, volunteers and partners.
- Prepare and serve teas, coffees, and refreshments to clients, volunteers and visitors, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist the operations and psychology team with daily administrative tasks, including managing scheduling meetings and client assessments / reviews.
- Assist in the set-up and facilitation of nature-based mental health group activities, providing support to the group leaders and facilitators (where required).
- Support the team in ensuring a comfortable and supportive workspace.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating and executing group sessions, meetings, events and wellness workshops as required.Support logistics, venue setup, and participant coordination for monthly, quarterly and annual events.
- Provide on-the-ground assistance during events, activities and group sessions.
- Oversee the purchase of supplies, including food and drinks, for our monthly volunteer evening events.
- Provide evening and / or weekend support at our bi-annual social events for our client base, volunteers, and donors (dates are always arranged well in advance).
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Provide general support for the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a productive, efficient and well-functioning working environment. Assist the Operations team in scheduling and coordinating client assessment and review appointments, workshops, and mental health activities in nature.
- Act as a point of contact for staff and volunteers, addressing logistical and office needs.
- Manage office supplies, ensuring restocking and organisation.
- Liaise with vendors and maintenance services as needed.
- Provide other general administrative support to the psychology and operations team, including making online orders, liaising with printers, and preparing resources for training events.

Action Foundation was established in 2005 to assist asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in Tyne and Wear. We aim to empower refugees, asylum seekers, and other migrants to live independently through a commitment to supporting them to achieve self-sufficiency and integration into the community.
The Language and Learning service has developed and enhanced its support towards better integration to include three streams of support which include employability workshops and advice, digital skills courses alongside non-accredited ESOL classes. We are looking for a full-time project manager to lead our staff and volunteer teams in the delivery of these streams of support.
You will line manage the Project Officer(s) responsible for different aspect of the service work and support them with the delivery of in-person classes and where required any online classes. You will also play an important role at a strategic level in developing partnerships and networks with formal and informal providers of ESOL, employability and digital skills to promote and enhance the service.
