Key responsibilities
- Design graphics and layouts for digital platforms (social media, website, email campaigns)
- Create print-ready materials including reports, brochures, and event collateral
- Edit and produce long-form and short-form videos for web and social media
- Assist with scheduling social media content across platforms (eg, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)

Qualifications and experience
- Degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communications, or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Experience creating content for digital and print formats
- Good video editing skills and understanding of motion graphics
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (eg, WordPress)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working with or for NGOs, nonprofits, or in the healthcare sector is a plus

Digital Business Analyst - FTC

You will ensure that Alzheimer’s Research UK’s digital channels, products, and services are not just functional, but are strategically aligned to drive our bold goals and deliver the objectives of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) transformation programme.
The post holder will act as the crucial link between internal and external stakeholders and the Digital and Technology delivery teams. They will translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable technical requirements and user stories, ensuring feasibility, maximising project value, and guaranteeing that implemented solutions deliver an optimal supporter experience.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Elicitation and Scope Definition
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritise, and document functional and non-functional requirements for priority DDT projects and product enhancements (across web, email and other digital channels as required).
· Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to identify core business problems and opportunities for digital improvement.
· Ensure all requirements align with the overarching DDT architecture and digital principles being established.
Analysis, Feasibility, and Impact Assessment
· Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses for proposed digital changes, ensuring new solutions contribute to organisational goals for supporter experience, sustainability, and productivity (return on investment).
· Analyse current digital channel performance data and user behaviour (market research) to identify trends and inform decision-making, ensuring future-proofed and data-driven requirements.
· Simplify complex business and technical concepts, ensuring clarity for both executive leadership and the development team.
Documentation and Artefact Creation
· Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, wireframes, user flow diagrams, and process models for the Digital and Technology delivery teams.
· Produce clear, high-quality technical writing and documentation for project processes, system changes, and end-user guides, contributing to the team's knowledge base.
Quality Assurance and UAT Management
· Play a key role in the design and co-ordination of comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to validate that all digital solutions and features meet documented business requirements and satisfy user needs.
· Support the implementation phase of priority DDT activities such as our web development project, acting as a point of consultation to resolve issues and validate new solutions (e.g. changes in software or platform compatibility).
· Contribute to system maintenance planning by documenting defects and change requests post-launch.
Communication and Bridge Building
· Serve as the primary communication bridge between the DDT Programme Manager and Digital, internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.
· Facilitate project presentations and public introductions of new digital features to stakeholders and internal teams to secure project adoption and report on progress.
What we are looking for:
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role, specifically within a digital, marketing, or technology environment.
· Expertise in using agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) and developing core business analysis artefacts (User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, BRDs).
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data to drive requirements and design solutions.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate with stakeholders and simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Planning & Reporting
· Operational Planning: Support the Head of Digital with the development of the team's operational plans, including learning and development initiatives, and the Digital Acceleration Training Programme.
· Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key departmental metrics, such as learning programme participation rates and team satisfaction, to the Head of Digital. Ensure all departmental objectives and goals are on track.

Summary
The Church of England's Digital Team was created in 2016 to develop the Church's approach to the web, social media and wider technological innovation. The team works to support teams across the Church in line with its wider vision and strategy, while identifying digital opportunities to engage new audiences with messages of the Church. Based in the Communications Team, it also works closely with Church House Publishing on national campaigns, such as Christmas and Easter. The team has developed a strong social media presence, transformed national websites and pioneered the use of technology such as voice and apps to help people grow in their faith.
As Digital Labs Officer, you will build confidence in the local churches of the Church of England to use platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, A Church Near You and their own websites to reach new people and encourage members of their worshipping communities in their faith. You will help run a national training programme to upskill the Church to use these digital platforms. You will also curate and create new content for the Digital Labs webpages, blog, on-demand training library and newsletter.

What the job involves
We’re seeking a Website Content Officer to join our Integrated Marketing and Media team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing and improving the content on our website, making sure it’s clear, accessible and meets the needs of our diverse audience.
Acting as the ‘voice of the user’, you’ll be responsible for publishing updates via our content management system (CMS), maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and accessibility across the site. You’ll oversee key areas, including the homepage, keeping information accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate.
You’ll work closely with teams across the Prostate Cancer UK to help shape their messages for the web, offering advice, guidance, and training where needed. Day to day, you’ll manage content schedules, review pages to identify improvements, and create or edit content to keep the site fresh and effective. You’ll also use digital analytics tools to monitor performance and suggest ways we can enhance the user experience.
As part of the Digital Marketing and Channels team, you’ll work closely with our email and social media teams to ensure our owned channels are aligned. You’ll lead on the delivery of our regular ‘News and Views’ articles in conjunction with our Strategic Communications team, and you’ll work closely with our Web Operations team to help identify and test new website features and fix technical issues.

What we want from you
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content to serve a specific audience. You'll be skilled in using content management systems (ideally Umbraco) to build and update web pages.
You’ll have the technical skills to author and edit basic HTML, as well as prepare and edit images for the web. A good understanding of interpreting website analytics, including experience with Google Analytics and search engine optimisation techniques, is essential. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex analytics and technical details clearly and accessibly to colleagues who may not have a technical background.
In this role, you’ll need to manage priorities effectively and work well under tight deadlines. You’ll be confident negotiating and handling challenging conversations when necessary. Staying up to date with current web tools and digital content trends will be a real advantage as we continually improve our site.

You will coordinate the Social Homes for Manchester campaign coalition and implement our strategy for strengthening the housing justice movement in Manchester and across GM. You will lead on organising community workshops and events raising awareness about campaign asks and the Manchester Local Plan consultation process.
You will convene workshops and events focused on building the capacity of a network of ward-based community coalitions to understand housing and planning policy and process. This might include how local development applications are compiled, submitted, decided on; and strategies for ensuring appropriate levels of Section 106 contributions and social rent homes are included in development applications.
You will work with the Social Homes for Manchester Steering Group and community leaders to provide coordination support to at least one neighbourhood planning process and efforts to encourage community-led housing innovations.
You will create a new set of webpages focused on provision of transparent and accessible information on housing need, upcoming developments, and performance against housing targets at ward and city scale.

About Social Homes for Manchester (SH4M)
- SH4M is a coalition of community associations, charities, think tanks, academics and social justice organisations focused on accelerating the number of social homes that are created in Manchester by 2030 and ensuring this is done in an environmentally sustainable way.
- Much of our work over the last two years has focused on generating an evidence base, influencing strategy, and set of relationships to facilitate influence, including through convening the Manchester Social Housing Commission which concludes in December 2025.
- SH4M is now focused on implementing a two-year strategy including building a network of citizen coalitions across the city of Manchester with the information and capacity to hold decision-makers and providers to account for accelerated delivery of sustainable social rent homes. This includes taking forward the findings of the Manchester Social Housing Commission.

Job Purpose
Within the National Influencing & Networks team, the Digital Communications Officer is responsible for delivering core communications functions. The postholder will work directly with the Director of National Influencing and Networks to plan communications activity in line with organisational objectives, and to deliver planned, regular and ad-hoc outputs. · Deliver Clinks’ communications functions to ensure our work and the voluntary sector is promoted in an accurate and timely manner.

· Responsible for publication and design of organisational policy reports, e-bulletins, newsletters, blog posts, ad-hoc publications and other relevant digital outputs
