Job Summary:
As part of the Website and Digital Content Team and wider Digital Marketing Department you will oversee Relate at Family Action’s website and online client experience, driving brand awareness and sales of products and services.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Relate’s website and the writing of digital content, and support the brand’s long term transformation as part of the adaptive change programme, working closely with the Website and Digital Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing, Brand and Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Manage and optimise Relate at Family Action’s website and online user experience, driving traffic, engagement and sales of products and services.
2. Work closely with key colleagues including the Brand and Marketing Manager, Website and Digital Content Manager and Social Media Team to position and market Relate’s services and plan content.
3. Work closely with B2C and B2B teams, and other internal stakeholders to understand website requirements and improve representation online.
4. Manage digitally delivered products such as Toolkits and Relate’s AI chatbot, including re-marketing and upgrade activity to drive clients to further services on the website.
5. Support the creation of new Toolkits for sale, working closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager and service delivery colleagues to research and test new topics and write content.
6. Develop and write keyword rich content including stories, and support articles on often sensitive subjects, to build brand awareness, improve findability and warm up audiences.
7. Monitor and improve SEO across the Relate website.
8. Support Relate’s adaptive change programme including the website review workstream, working closely with the Website and Digital Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing and other key stakeholders.
9. Support the development of a new CRM for Relate, working closely with the Systems and Technology Team and Service Delivery Team to ensure a seamless front end client experience.
10. Manage existing infrastructure and systems integrated across the website client journey such as Acuity Scheduling, Typeform and Stripe.
11. Maintain and improve Relate’s website accessibility ensuring it meets WCAG 2.1 AA standard wherever possible.
12. Use sophisticated data and insight tools to test, measure and evaluate content, and website performance, and monitor emerging trends in the wider market.
13. Produce regular reports for senior stakeholders including data and commentary around website performance.
14. Work with external agencies to deliver effective PPC search and display ad campaigns.
15. Manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers involved in digital initiatives at Relate.

Key duties
Major Donor Fundraising

Reporting into one of the Co-CEOs, the Director of Finance, People & Culture will lead Womankind’s finance, HR, and Resources functions while ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions (UK and Kenya). The key duties of the Director of Finance, People & Culture are as follows:
- Lead strategic financial and HR planning in collaboration with Co-CEOs and Finance & Resources Committee
- Drive implementation of Strategy 2030 particularly those strategies pertaining to Womankind’s goals to value our team and decolonise our practice
- Support assessment of funding landscape and sustainable financing strategies
- Ensure effective 3-year rolling budgeting and planning cycles
- Line manage Finance, People & Culture team, provide coaching, supervision, and development support, whilst building team capacity through process improvement
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Lead annual audit and statutory accounts production in the UK and Kenya
- Act as Company Secretary to Board of Trustees
- Ensure consistent quality and delivery of all finance processes (internal and external)
- Strategic development and review of Human Resource management, policies and processes
- Shape and model a feminist, inclusive, and high-performing organisational culture that aligns with Womankind’s values
- Oversee design and implementation of a wellbeing strategy
- Lead on information technology, ensuring systems meet needs of the organisation
- Provide oversight of facilities in the UK and Kenya
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualification: A full, recognised accounting qualification
- Leadership: Proven track record delivering strategic plans as part of senior leadership team
- Experience: Significant experience leading Finance and HR functions
- International: Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
- Charity Sector: Understanding of charity governance, SORP accounting, and charity financing
- Management: Strong staff management and development experience
- Communication: Ability to explain complex financial matters to non-financial
- Governance: Experience working with and being accountable to Board of Trustees

We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser to join our small, busy fundraising team. You will:

Key objectives and responsibilities
- Be primarily responsible for researching and writing, prioritising, developing and submitting compelling proposals, updates and reports to trust donors.
- Maximise income by building and maintaining relationships with existing portfolio of trust donors through excellent relationship management.
- Use the database (Access Charity CRM) to maintain accurate and detailed records, manage relationships, and coordinate actions and deadlines.
- Research and identify new opportunities, and write and submit high quality, targeted proposals to secure support from new and lapsed funders.
- Prepare written reports on activities, progress and income against objectives.
- Ensure the impact of our work is clear, visible and effectively communicated in our social media, on our website and in our Impact Report.
- Liaise with internal staff to compile project information for funding applications, and build positive, professional relationships internally and externally.
- Gather case studies for use in fundraising communications, applications and reports.
- Undertake administrative duties such as thanking donors and other routine office procedures as required.
- Carry out other tasks as required by the Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Team.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to amplify the charity’s communications by supporting the communications team’s day to day administrative tasks, channel planning, content creation, website updates and campaign delivery, involving some relationship management and project input.
Reporting to the Senior Communications Officer, you will be supported by formal and informal training to develop your skillset in writing and editing, media relations and database management, newsletters, websites and gain working knowledge of tools such as Canva, Hootsuite and Mailchimp.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative and project support across the Communications and Education team, learning and using key tools and processes
- Support and develop communications channels and platforms, including website updates, accessibility reviews and database content
- Assist with social media planning, content creation and monitoring trends, including design of assets using Canva
- Coordinate and support podcasts, events and campaigns, including stakeholder engagement and occasional travel to represent the organisation
