We are seeking a talented Business Engagement Officer to deliver Workwhile’s support offer to small- and medium-sized businesses. You’ll be comfortable delivering high-quality advice and guidance to businesses across a range of sectors, and excited about building this support service as Workwhile develops. Whilst this will currently focus primarily on supporting business to create apprenticeships, you’ll also work on issues across the ‘good work’ agenda. You’ll be determined to deliver results, whilst being flexible and empathetic to the challenges facing small SMEs. Alongside this, you’ll ensure we’re collecting the data we need from SMEs and other partners, to monitor our impact and report to our funders.

Role Overview:

The Tenancy & Contributions Officer will lead on the delivery and continuing evolution of the tenancy agreement (known as the In-Pensioner Agreement). Part of the delivery of the agreement will be coordinating the process of setting and reviewing In-Pensioner’s personal financial contribution to the Royal Hospital. About the Role:
Victim Support (VS) is the leading independent charity in England and Wales for people who have been affected by crime and traumatic incidents. Understanding the experience and needs of victims and witnesses of crime is central to the charities' aims and vision.
As a Research & Lived Experience Officer you will have the opportunity to capture the voice of victims and promote evidence based recommendations to improve the experience of victims in the criminal justice system. You will be a part of a small but enthusiastic research team, while also having the opportunity to lead your own project.
You will have the opportunity to recruit participants and manage a Lived Experience Engagement Forum, and to regularly engage, build and maintain close relationships with the forum's participants. You will also need to conduct workshops/focus groups to collect feedback and insights from the participants on various products and procedures, and produce summaries of this feedback.
To be successful in the role you will need to have proven experience in recruiting vulnerable people to take part in research activities and conducting workshops or focus groups and interviews. Experience in writing and analysing surveys is an advantage. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently, as well as experience of working in partnership with various stakeholders. Having knowledge of victims of crime is desirable, but not essential.

Main purpose of role
To enable the delivery of 1MM’s communications strategy, across the organisation, to extend our reach and build engagement within our community: ensuring we cost effectively produce and deploy powerful content and co-ordinated messages across all our communications channels, and to a broad range of audiences, alongside the promotion and administration of our events programme.

We are seeking a Volunteer Services Manager to provide leadership, guidance and development to this Volunteering Team and act as an ambassador for volunteering across all Battersea centres and externally. They will have overall responsibility for recruitment and development of volunteers, policies and processes relating to volunteer involvement, and lead in increasing the standard of the volunteering experience across the organisation and creating new opportunities, in all areas of our work.

Hybrid working policy:
We operate a hybrid working model, with our office-based staff splitting their time between site based and home working. We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. This includes conducting follow-ups and answering queries (by phone, email and in person) from both current and prospective participants on the programmes being delivered by High Trees. They will also be responsible for the preparation of finance related performance evidence for monthly/quarterly submission.
The successful applicant will have experience of providing efficient administrative support, be very organised and able to work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Must also be flexible and excited about being at the heart of a small but fast paced team which is committed to providing an excellent service to High Trees’ users.
