In this role, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of our project management services for older and vulnerable homeowners across Bristol. You’ll provide high-quality advice on housing, repairs and independent living, supporting clients to:

• repair or adapt their homes
• access essential works that enable safe hospital discharge
• explore suitable alternative housing options
• understand available funding routes

Working closely with our technical project managers, who diagnose defects, design and specify works, and oversee on-site delivery, you will guide clients through the process with clarity and confidence. Strong judgement, a proactive approach and an empathetic manner are essential, along with good organisational, numerical and IT skills.

Project Manager – Client (12-month fixed term – Making Space Project)

This role focuses on our Making Space project, supporting clients who need help decluttering or reorganising their homes to improve safety, wellbeing and independence.

You will:

• coordinate and manage a caseload
• provide information, advice and options
• offer practical and emotional support with decluttering
• help clients make informed decisions about their home environment
• collaborate with colleagues and external partners

This is a deeply person-centred role requiring a trauma-informed, sustainable approach to reduce risks, improve wellbeing and support tenancy sustainment.

You'll have:

- Experience as a practicing Internal Auditor operating at a senior level working within an internal audit team, with a proven track record of leading audit teams and deputising for a Chief Audit Executive.

- Experience drafting professional, high-quality reports for Boards, Committees, and Executive Management.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll support the delivery, supervision and academic quality of a specialist postgraduate programme training clinicians to work with autistic children, young people and those with learning disabilities.

• Delivering and developing teaching, particularly skills-based workshops, across the Pg Dip programme
• Marking assignments and taking part in calibration workshops to ensure fair, consistent assessment
• Facilitating small Practice Tutor Groups, supporting trainees’ clinical skill development and monitoring their progress

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you’re an experienced clinician in ASC/LD who brings confidence in teaching, supervision and supporting trainees, and can work collaboratively within a busy academic and clinical training environment.

• A recognised core mental health qualification plus specialist training in ASC/LD evidence-based therapies for children and young people
• Extensive clinical experience with autistic children, young people, parents and families, including work within CYPMH or wellbeing services
• Significant experience providing ASC/LD-specific clinical supervision and managing or overseeing practitioners
• Knowledge and experience of delivering clinical training or university-level teaching
• Strong organisational skills, the ability to work flexibly, manage deadlines, and create an inclusive, reflective learning environment

Key details

Hours: Part-time (7 hours per week)

Whilst this will usually be worked on Mondays during term time, there may be occasions where you are requested, or you may request, to work flexibly and on a different day of the week to support peak points in the academic cycle, e.g. to meet marking deadlines.

Salary: £52,000 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Flexibility will be required to attend in-person teaching days during term time.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to handle/lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs.)

For over 30 years, the Centre has offered daily support, practical help, community and opportunities for rebuilding confidence and connection.

We are now seeking a values-led Director to lead the Centre into its next chapter of renewal. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape a respected diocesan service as it evolves towards a clearer strategic purpose, stronger partnerships, greater sustainability and an impact-led culture.

About the role

The Director will:

• Provide visible, compassionate and strategic leadership.
• Lead service development and cultural change, embedding trauma-informed and inclusive practice.
• Strengthen governance, safeguarding, operational excellence and staff wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with Sheffield City Council, health partners, universities, VCSEF - voluntary, community, social enterprise and faith organisations and local parishes.
• Oversee the Centre’s transformation into a renewed model (community hub or hybrid model shaped by local needs).
• Support long-term financial sustainability through partnership-building and fundraising.

About you

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Strong senior leadership experience in social care, homelessness, health, community or related sectors.
• A track record of managing teams, leading change and improving outcomes for vulnerable adults.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk and quality service delivery.
• Strategic insight, emotional intelligence and resilience.
• A commitment to — and sympathy with — Catholic social teaching, coupled with a strong belief in inclusive services for all.
