The Generalist human resources team is currently a team of 4, the Head of P&C, P&C Business Partner, P&C Advisor, and P&C Administrator. You will report into the Head of P&C. The wider People and Culture/HR team includes the Talent Acquisition Team, Workforce Development, and Talent Development team. As a team we all have our strengths, have individual qualities and interests, we all come together as a team when times can be busy or stressful and work well in supporting each other. OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Line Management
- Provide high quality support and line management, offer guidance, support and advice.
- Responsible for management and leadership of direct reports and their employee lifecycle, this includes but is not limited to; Recruitment, onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, performance management, meeting KPI’s and targets, advising on and managing Employee Relations cases, Staff wellbeing and support, grievances, sickness, and disciplinaries.
- Proactively embed a culture of learning, development and evaluation. Promote a team working dynamic which is supportive and empowering.
Employee Relations
- Ensure all staff have access to meaningful and accessible employment advice, information, documents, and other resources.
- Empower managers with the right knowledge, resources, and access to information and guidance.
- Support managers with team related enquiries, concerns, or issues appropriately.
- Manage and provide high quality advice on low and mid-level employee relations casework.
Employee Lifecycle
- Ensure lifecycle administration, advice, and support is completed to a high standard.
- Contribute to the processing of employee lifecycle changes. This includes payroll, new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
- Provide advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Monitor, review and report on key people metrics to inform and enhance the delivery of the P&C team and activities.
- Manage and support reward and recognition initiatives.
- Other areas of support will vary. Including Sickness, Occupational health referrals, Annual leave, Maternity/Paternity leave, Compassionate leave, Performance Management, and General Employee Relations.
Performance Management and Development
- Devise, deliver, and evaluate management and staff upskilling and training sessions, and workshops.
- Support Managers across the organisation with Performance management and people development initiatives.
- Support with the personal and professional development of our people, collating feedback, introducing new initiatives and ideas.
Other Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the wider P&C team to develop and amplify employee voice through the organisation, and support with various other activities and projects within the team.
- Support management of data and workflows within the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Take ownership of the HRIS to some degree, identify changes to be made, ensure the system management is running smoothly.
- Support with the progression and communication of policies and procedures.
- Build and manage strong relations throughout the organisation and externally.

KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a similar role and/or taking on similar level responsibilities
- Experience in coaching and advising managers and colleagues in areas such as employee relations activities across the full lifecycle, performance management, absence management, and other alike areas
- Working knowledge and understanding of HR procedures and basic employment law practices, and how it applies under UK employment legislation
- Line Management experience, or demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, advanced knowledge in Microsoft, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to attend regular visits to our different service locations
What we would like, but not essential:
- CIPD Qualification Level 5
- Experience using data to make informed decisions and reports effectively
- Experience in a similar size organisation and/or charity sector organisation

This role is part of the Wiltshire Project which provides individual and family support to domestic abuse for victims and their children.
Working with children and young people, the team will focus on delivering timely and high quality, trauma informed support to children who have been the victims of domestic abuse.
This is a fixed term position to November 2025.
This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.
In addition, there will be the opportunity to work with the team and manager to develop and deliver new group work provision for young people.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
· To provide high quality, specialist support to children who have lived in a domestically abusive family.
· Enabling young people to access statutory and other services where appropriate.
· Managing a caseload and working proactively to support young people and their families.
· To deliver educational, time-bound, 1 to 1 support sessions for children and young people.
· Provide specialist support to child victims, with a focus on empowering young people to make informed decisions.
· Ensure that children and young people have a thorough understanding of what constitutes a ‘healthy relationship’.
· Undertake risk assessments and implement robust safety management plans.
· Give practical and emotional support to children affected by domestic abuse.
· Work closely with multi-agency partners and the wider Wiltshire team to ensure that we maintain a focus on risk management and safeguarding.
· Work with your team and manager to develop early intervention resources.
· Engaging with and supporting the MARAC and MASH process, to ensure that the voice of victims is heard.
This role will be based in our Trowbridge office, with a requirement to travel across Wiltshire. FearFree supports staff to work flexibly, with an ability to work in a hybrid fashion, both at home and in the office.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies.
- Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating.
- Assess, manage and review risks to service users, colleagues and self, according to agreed procedures.

About the role:
Your role as a CYP caseworker will be as a single point of contact for children and young people who have been affected by crime along with their wider family, parent or guardian. As a Caseworker, you will;
- receive incoming referrals from a range of sources including the police, other agencies & individuals
- assess needs & risks & action plans with those affected by crime
- use our case management system to update case notes & record risk & needs
- give up to date information to victims of crime about the criminal justice system process
- liaise with other agencies to provide advocacy for the service user
- work with other criminal justice system agencies to ensure a trauma informed & victim friendly response
- promote the service ensuring the service is accessible & open to all
You will be a confident, compassionate and empathic person who can work well under pressure. You will be speaking to people who may be upset, angry or in emotional difficulties and will need to be composed, empathic and be able to quickly assess situations. You will be confident in using your IT skills to work on a case management system, access phone and online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.

The team specialises in providing free legal advice and representation to unaccompanied children and families seeking asylum in the UK.
The Head of UK Legal Team will be a UK-based qualified solicitor or barrister or OISC Level 3 accredited caseworker or IAAS Supervising Senior caseworker with experience of working within the UK in a legal capacity, specifically in the area of asylum, immigration and refugee family reunion.

About the Role:
This role is co-located within Chelsea & Westminster Hospital 3-4 days per week and 1 day per week at our office near Old Street and/or working from home.
You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside health professionals in a hospital environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse.
As a Hospital Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of Sexual Health London, Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust, the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic and sexual abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
- Be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital.
- Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key.

You will need to:
