Job description

Are you thinking about your next career move and looking to join a forward-thinking organisation?  We are seeking an experienced and proactive marketing professional to join our Trust; a social care charity with more than 35 year’s supporting people with learning disabilities and enduring mental health needs to live happy and fulfilled lives.

Our values are at the heart of everything we do; we start with the person; we bring people close; we take our creativity to work with us; and we are courageous in our approach. This role provides a perfect opportunity for you to bring your creativity to life whilst implementing impactful communication and marketing strategies that promote the work and profile of our Trust.

To get there you will share your expertise with the Recruitment and Engagement teams, so that we recruit and retain dedicated and skilled colleagues; as well as working closely with colleagues in development to market our new initiatives. Your contribution will be the promotion of our work and brand with external audiences, so that we can provide great services to as many people as possible.

As part of your role you will also:

  • oversee content and user experience on our digital channels including our website and social media channels, ensuring it reaches and engages with key identified audiences.
  • lead on internal communications and engagement to ensure that our people across the organisation are fully informed about key priorities, share great work, and are supported to become actively engaged with our mission and values
  • track communication and marketing effectiveness, providing analysis on KPI’s, including audience growth, profile, engagement leads and feedback to inform future strategies and campaigns and assess Return on Investment.
  • work closely and collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders, to provide advice and promote alignment with communications and marketing objectives

Employee Benefits and Role Requirements:

Here at Milestones Trust we recognise that without the hard work, commitment and passion given by our staff, we wouldn’t be the charity that we are today. Being a part of the Trust Office team, means playing a crucial role in the success of our services and the lives of the people we support. In return, we are committed to rewarding you with a competitive pay and benefits package including:

  • 28 days Annual Leave Entitlement (plus 8 public holidays)
  • Access to an Employee Discount Platform from Day 1 with discounts and cash back for hundreds of retailers.
  • Refer a Friend Scheme earning you up to £750
  • Company Pension
  • Job Satisfaction
  • Competitive salary
  • Generous Occupational Maternity/Paternity pay
  • Health Cash Plan on completion of probation giving you access to a minimum of £695 cash back for health treatments e.g. Dental, Therapies, Optical, Maternity/Paternity, NHS Prescriptions etc.

In return, we’re looking for someone that can use their expertise to support in candidate attraction and recruitment marketing, as well as someone who is as comfortable working ‘hands on’ as you are working strategically with a good grasp of digital marketing channels and how to best utilise them to promote the organisation’s agenda.

Other role requirements include:

  • Being qualified by experience or be educated to degree level with a qualification in Marketing or Communication
  • Having good organisational skills, able to co-ordinate, project manage competing demands, and work to tight deadlines
  • Being able to demonstrate your track record of delivering results and business impact across digital channels, including measurable ROI
  • Sound knowledge of the application of design and digital tools (e.g. Adobe, Hotjar survey software, Optimal Workshop, Google, WordPress)

It is recommended that you provide an additional covering letter alongside your application/CV.
