Full Time

35 hours per week, with services operating between 7:45am and 8:10pm, Monday to Sunday. Worked on a shift rota including 1 weekend in every 5 weeks. Shifts are either 7:45am to 3:15pm (Early) or 12:10pm to 8:10pm (Late), No sleep-in duties are required.

Part Time

21 hours per week covering late shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sundays (12:10pm – 8:10pm) No sleep-in duties are required

This role will help us achieve our ambition by working as part of a team within a supported housing service in Trafford, Greater Manchester, providing high quality, personalised housing related support to young customers aged 16 to 25 years old.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Supporting and promoting young people aged 16 to 25 to access and actively engage in meaningful activities.
  • Providing administrative support to the project team.
  • Using a person-centred approach to enable customers to build life skills, develop healthy relationships and make decisions that are right for them.
  • Using coaching and strengths-based approaches to help customers overcome barriers and encourage engagement in education, training, employment, voluntary work and sport.

We need people who are

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, numerical and IT skills.
  • Experience of carrying out administrative and record-keeping tasks.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
  • The ability to use authority appropriately, deal effectively with challenging situations and challenge unacceptable behaviour.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working with young people would be advantageous 
  • Enthusiasm for learning, training and professional development.

 

Please note that an Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and you must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
