• managing a caseload of between 6 and 10 people who are neurodivergent and/or have a learning disability, and who are looking to move into supportive employment locally
• preparing our team members for long-term employment by supporting them to understand their skills, aspirations and goals by offering employment profiling, job matching, action planning and skill development opportunities
• working to a minimum target of 2 adults moving into long term employment by the end of your contract
• undertaking monthly work coaching sessions for team members to develop and upskill them in brewing and bar management skills
• supporting team members to reduce work-related barriers such as travel-to-work, better-off calculations, disclosure of health & wellbeing needs and budgeting
• providing in-work support to assist team members in maintaining and retaining employment, including frequent in-person meetings during the first few months of a successful employment match

You'll be responsible for our employer engagement. This means:

• undertaking tailored job searches and proactive engagement with employers to source supportive, paid job opportunities which meet our team members preferences and match their developing skillset
• identifying potential opportunities for employment within their businesses and sales opportunities amongst employment partners
• providing education and support to employers, which may include negotiating adjustments and on-going employer support to ensure job retention
• building Ignition’s profile as a skills-based, local employment specialist

You will develop our wider employability programme. This means:

• organising and facilitating regular employment taster days for people with learning disabilities looking to move into work in order to raise aspirations and developing an understanding of the workplace
• planning & running CV development workshops to help adults with learning disabilities prepare for the world of work
• developing our evidence-based employability model, drawing on good practice from other sectors, in order to constantly improve and refine the model

As part of your 20 hours per week, you will also be required to undertake one evening or weekend shift per week of up to 6 hours, as a Taproom Supervisor.

Providence Row Housing Association has been helping homeless people in East London since 1860. We provide social housing along with excellent services that aim to support homeless people with complex needs and enable their recovery. We remain committed to our East London roots and currently serve the communities in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and the City of London.

Our Senior Substance Misuse Worker works alongside members of the support team to create a safe and welcoming environment within a psychologically informed environment. You will contribute to the development of the recovery hub, by providing expertise in alcohol and drug misuse. Taking a lead role in delivering training/ advising staff on substance misuse issues, liaison with substance misuse agencies, facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences and negotiating access to detox and treatment services. Carrying out assessments of drug and alcohol usage with key clients, delivering brief and extended interventions, outlining risks, advice on harm minimisation and refer to specialist agencies.

You will also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.

You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of strengths, needs, and risks they experience. About the Role

You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting.  You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential.

About You

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.

You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.  

You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.

In addition to case management you will be required to undertake housing management responsibilities including health and safety and maintenance of the refuges.  You will have excellent administrative and time management skills.

We are now seeking a Full Time and/or Part Time Keyworker to join our expanding Treasures team. 

Key Responsibilities

The Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:

Beneficiary support

·  Undertaqking key working activities including: referrals, risk assessments, support
planning

· Support beneficiaries communicating with them about their day or any difficulties that arise for them

·Take a holistic approach to support beneficiary needs, seeking and highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project level

·  Fostering a holistic approach to supporting beneficiaries needs, seeking and
highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project/ organisational
level

·   Jointly developing and delivering a group programme which meets the needs of the women
and aims of the project, such as effective communication and conflict resolution

·   Developing individual key work plans alongside the beneficiary and offering them
appropriate support to implement them

·  Supporting the beneficiaries to access voluntary work, extra-curricular activities and
educational courses

Reporting and Compliance

· Verbal and written handover to other staff

· Use on call if needed in an emergency

·  Ensure our monitoring system Lamplight is up to date

· Complete online training

· Gather data for monitoring and evaluation

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the charity sector. They will be proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a sometimes challenging environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

·  Flexible attitude with the ability to understand and implement policies and procedures, keeping the beneficiary at the heart of the work

· Demonstrable experience of lone working in a similar environment

· Excellent organisational and time-management skills

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to other staff members

· IT literate

Desirable Skills and Experience:

· Evidence of trauma informed qualifications or experience

Job Title: Refuge Worker

Location: This is an onsite role, located within the London Borough of Hounslow, there may be a requirement to occasionally work in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Salary: £17,314.27 per annum (Inclusive of London Weighting, which may not be applicable depending on your home location
