What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Establish and develop a responsive Business Partner type relationship with stakeholders and Senior Leadership Teams 

• Provide professional advice, support and coaching to Archdeacons and Senior Managers on the interpretation and application of all Ecclesiastical measures, HR policies, processes and procedures, ensuring these are applied fairly and consistently 

• Advise the Senior Leadership on the people management implications of church policy and people strategy 

• Effectively and efficiently manage a portfolio of HR casework and staff recruitment 

• Advise and recommend appropriate courses of action in line with relevant best practice, policies, employment legislation and statutory frameworks 

Who We’re Looking For: 

• At least 3 years’ experience of working at HR Partner or Adviser level in a generalist role covering HR practice 

• Experience of working in an HR role carrying out a range of HR duties, ideally in the church or charity sector 

• Experience of supporting managers in all areas of people matters, including recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, absence and sickness casework 

• Experience of working within a customer focused environment with the ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people e.g., senior leaders, job applicants, employees

About the role

At EngineeringUK we use evidence to make a real difference. Through research insight and robust evaluation, we work to improve the impact of our own work, as well as that of other organisations in our sector. Our aim is to make a positive difference to young people’s lives and securing the diverse engineering and technology workforce the UK needs to thrive. The research and evaluation team consists of 6 researchers and analysts who work to provide these insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver and develop our evaluation projects, to help build an evidence-base for engineering and technology outreach activities and to shape how we use this evidence to inform our own and others’ practice.

With support from the Head of Evaluation and Impact, you will be the operational lead on our evaluations, with responsibility for:

• critically assessing the evidence required to ascertain impact of engineering and technology outreach activities across a complex landscape, with an emphasis on groups historically underrepresented in the engineering and technology professions
• designing and managing the evaluation of our educational programmes, including the practicalities and logistics of collecting/analysing these data, and reporting findings to internal and external stakeholders

Program Manager, Responsible Supply Chains

This is a key role in the Freedom Fund’s Responsible Supply Chains initiative to address forced labour in global supply chains. The Program Manager will manage the grant portfolio, from grantee selection, due diligence, reporting, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes. Partnerships and Events Manager

As the national voice for further education (FE) colleges in England, AoC represents and supports member colleges with professional services, advocacy, and sector leadership. You will represent college employers in national pay negotiations and workforce policy development, oversee recruitment and consultancy services, and with your team drive policy influencing and evidence-based decision-making through strong stakeholder engagement and data insight. This is a varied and strategic role that combines leadership, sector advocacy, and operational oversight across FE employment and workforce priorities.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis. There will be regular travel to AoC’s national office in London and across the country to attend meetings and represent the organisation. Supported by the Advice Workforce Development Fund, Law Centres Network has undertaken a programme of work to help ensure the long-term sustainability of the Law Centre workforce. Although initially focused on London, this work will benefit our network across the UK as we gain deeper insights, develop best practice, and co-produce new approaches.

We are looking for someone to work with Law Centres across London and co-ordinate a joint effort between Law Centres, LCN and other partners to improve recruitment, career progression, and staff retention in Law Centres and the wider social welfare legal advice sector.

Reporting directly to the Head of Planning and Reporting, the Management Reporting Lead will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing KPIs and reporting tools that provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to a variety of stakeholders. They will analyse trends and performance data to highlight emerging risks and opportunities, ensuring issues are addressed early to support financial viability. King’s Global Health Partnerships works with health facilities, academic institutions and governments to strengthen health systems and improve the quality of care in five countries: Somaliland, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and The Gambia. We bring together health, academic and international development expertise from King’s College London, the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and our international partners to:

Our partnership in Zambia is six years old. King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) initiated a long-term partnership with Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital and Ndola Teaching hospital, in Ndola province, Zambia. Work in Zambia has focused on maternal and newborn health, breast cancer surgery, antimicrobial stewardship and health worker wellbeing.

KGHP is based within the School of Life Course & Population Sciences. The School of Life Course & Population Sciences is one of five Schools that make up the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London. The School unites experts across 5 departments, Women and Children’s health, Nutritional Sciences, Population Health Sciences, Ophthalmology and Twins & Genetic Epidemiology, overall covering the complexities of life course health & disease from individual cells molecular genetics to whole population level.

Our research links the causes of common health problems to life’s landmark stages, treating life, disease and healthcare as a continuum. We are interdisciplinary by nature and hugely successful: 91 per cent of our research submitted to the Subjects Allied to Medicine (Pharmacy, Nutritional Sciences and Women's Health cluster) for REF was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. We use this expertise to teach the next generation of health professionals and research scientists. Based across King’s Guy’s, St Thomas’, Waterloo and Denmark Hill campuses, our academic programme of research, teaching and clinical practice is embedded across all SLCPS departments.

About the role

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead on the management of our current programme activities in Somaliland and Zambia. The role will lead on the management of various grants/ projects within our Somaliland and Zambia partnerships as well as strengthening our partnership approaches in these two countries. The role will be responsible for project closeout, startup of new projects secured as well as developing new funding proposals to support the aims as set out in our partnership and organisational strategies. 

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. BSc or MSc in Global Health or International Relations or aligned subject
2. Relevant experience managing multiple projects (including large and complex grants/contracts) throughout the full project cycle, preferably projects delivered by consortiums
3. Relevant experience working collaboratively with partner organisations in low resource settings
4. Financial management and budgeting experience for complex multi-year, multi-partner projects
5. Experience of developing MEL strategies for large and complex programmes, including developing indicators, theories of change, learning processes
6. Experience coordinating and managing the development of successful funding proposals including institutional donors such as FCDO and the DHSC
7. Significant experience in donor compliance and relationship management, preferably including trusts and foundations and institutional donors
8. Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, actively addressing areas of potential bias

Desirable criteria

1. Knowledge/expertise of global health, health systems strengthening, or health workforce
2. Exceptional planning, organisation and execution skills
