Job description

Carers' Resource is excited to announce a new opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of carers. We are currently seeking to recruit:

 

Young Carer Worker, Bradford District

 

£24,337 - £26,802 (FTE)

(22.5 - 37 hours per week available )

You must drive and have access to your own vehicle.

This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of young carers' (5-18) and those they care for while collaborating with local partners and working within a dedicated team.

You will be supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of young carers in the Bradford District through a mixture of one-to-one and group/activity work.

You will have a proven ability in improving the wellbeing of children and young people including setting up and running activities for children and young people, individual and group work skills, knowledge of the issues facing young carers and the ability to engage with children and young people in a variety of ways.

The post holders will be required to do some early evening work, and be able to support activities with young carers during school holidays.

You will be based at our Bradford office with travel across the Bradford District.
