As our Director of Service Transformation, you will lead the exciting next phase of transforming our charity’s services to reach more disabled children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for sourcing and delivering contracts and partnerships essential for the charity’s sustainability by advancing our digital outreach and nurturing new partnerships and securing sustainable funds for innovative models of support.
What you will be doing as the Director of Service Transformation:
- Lead and execute services strategies and plans that extend and transform the impact and financial sustainability of the charity’s services and support for disabled children, young people and their families.
- Lead the design, development and sales of innovative new service models and the scaling of existing services.
- Work closely with the other executive directors and leadership team to achieve the generation of an annual financial surplus to reinvest in Kids.
- Ensure the quality and safe delivery of all Kids’ services.
- Ensure effective budget management underpins service development and delivery. Ensure contracts and tenders are commercially negotiated and regularly monitored. Work with colleagues to identify and achieve necessary margins on contracts and projects for financial sustainability.
- Inspire and lead a high performing services team; support colleagues to test, learn and adapt as the charity evolves and transforms its digital and in-person support offer.
- Be an inspiring, visible and collegiate leader and team player who works across team boundaries to help drive organisational change and nurture colleagues’ ability to perform at their best.
- Model and lead effective communications with all colleagues that bring to life the charity’s values and behaviours. Support colleagues to ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and practice are evidenced in service design and delivery.
- Act as an ambassador for Kids on key platforms, carrying out media work as required; promote the charity’s products, services and work; and draw from services expertise to influence public policy and legislation relevant to disabled children and their families.
Essential Criteria – Demonstrated history of leadership in service provision, service evolution, or change management; adeptness in fostering relationships and/or experience in business development/sales.

We are looking for a Senior Retention Manager for a 9 month contract with an incredible youth charity, to lead the IG & MD retention team.

The Role

The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Marketing team at CoppaFeel! and will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. METRO, In partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, delivers a model of sexual health support (SASH) throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. We are looking for a manager to lead the counselling team to deliver high-quality person-centred services within a busy inner London environment. The clients are from diverse communities affected by sexual health and mental health issues, and the role will support staff to work with people from communities such as LGBTQ and Black and Asian Minority Ethnic backgrounds and young people.
[Programme]
METRO, in partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, deliver a model of sexual health support throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. Turning Point is the lead partner for the contract and a matrix staffing model is in place. The post-holder will be line-managed by METRO Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing and work alongside staff from other agencies. They will need to work closely with the Turning Point Operations Manager, contributing to management team meetings, and working
collaboratively with other managers across the service. The role will also be clinically supervised via independent supervisor arranged through METRO.
The post holder will also manage an additional contract under METRO called Cherish Hounslow. This contract is in partnership with NAZ, to deliver groupwork and counselling to LGBTQ+ BAME residents in Hounslow. There will be two posts to line manage in this contract, a group work lead and a counsellor.
[Role]
You will lead the liaison and development of work in the local community to promote referrals and joint working across the client pathway and be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager at Turning Point with reporting on the SASH counselling service. The post-holder will also work with the Head of Youth and Mental Health & Wellbeing, to manage Cherish Hounslow.
You will be required to lead and manage the therapeutic team including direct line management of counsellors for sexual health and HIV, LGBT HIV/Sexual health counsellor (supported by London Friend), Black African and other global majority counselling (supported by NAZ) and volunteers within all aspects of the programme. Also, the post holder will carry out clinical assessments, and recruit and line manage volunteer counsellors to support the programme. The postholder will also carry a small client caseload themselves.
The post holder will ensure the completion of all external and internal monitoring and evaluation requirements, including regular performance reports for funders for both services. This will involve the use of appropriate outcome measuring tools, including CORE, and maintaining good relationships with funders and other external stakeholders and partners through regular communication.

We are working with Pact, who are seeking an experienced Senior Manager (Major Gifts) with a proven track record of success to manage and grow their portfolio of major donors and legacies, to enable them to make a difference to the lives of those affected by criminal justice.
Pact is a successful national charity that provides life changing and lifesaving care for men, women and young people in custody, those with criminal convictions in the community and their children, family members and carers.
In this newly created role, the Senior Manager (Major Gifts) will provide strong stewardship of existing relationships of mid value and major donors, support and cultivate interest in Pact’s programmes and unrestricted giving and take responsibility for identifying and developing new major gifts from individuals and family trusts. In addition, you will strengthen and develop the legacy strategy and offer to existing and new individual supporter.
This is a senior, strategic role within Pact and you will have
- A proven track record and specialism in either legacy or major donor giving, and the autonomy to raise funds from individuals, including HNWIs and to lead on this area within a charity.
- Experience of researching and cultivating individuals including HNWIs and family trusts to secure financial support.
- Strong interpersonal skills, talented at building relationships and trust, and able to inspire long term commitment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey concepts and inspire a wide range of people through written & verbal channels, with the ability to build a case for support.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and budgeting skills and be capable of writing effective proposals, and reports. Experience of using Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
Originally the Catholic Prisoners Aid Society, founded in 1898, Pact has a largely Catholic supporter base, with warm and committed relationships with a wide range of Catholic and other Christian stakeholders. Estates management Management of the operations information systems. E.g. Inventory, Health and Safety logging Ensure that we receive competitive quotes for all works carried out on our sites in compliance with our financial regulations Ensure that all contractors are communicated with in a timely and professional manner on all works to be carried out Project management. Prepare business cases and feasibility studies; tender, award and manage projects Manage all compliance maintenance and work closely with the site team to ensure these are completed Scheduling of maintenance across all sites, maintaining a 3 – 5 year maintenance cycle that informs budget setting Work with Heads of Service to source and prepare appropriate buildings/spaces in order to expand services Manage and maintain an Asset Register for BeyondAutism On request, provide data for SMT, governors, trustees and Heads of Services Liaise with services’ administrative staff to ensure required data is captured and scheduling of site works are smooth Manage the schools’ personnel check -n (inventory) and access control systems Management of the cleaning and consumable supply contracts Health and safety management Ensure that the site team and the Senior Management Team are supported in ensuring our sites comply with Health and Safety legislation Support the Director of Finance with the organisation and completion of Health and Safety Audits Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety, relating to fire, water, and asbestos Chair organisational Health and Safety and maintenance meetings and attend site specific meetings Reporting and recording Ensure that all site documentation is held in a central file. Including checking and holding site-based certification, arranging annual reviews, arranging testing and monitoring at each site in particular related to Health and Safety legislation to include, though not limited to, electrical testing, gas testing, legionella testing, fire assessment Ensure that accurate registers are kept of asbestos, and hazardous substances across all sites Ensure minutes are taken at any operational meeting in particular, estates and Health and Safety meetings Provide monthly reports to SMT Attend monthly Services SMT, providing reports as required by the COO Management responsibilities To manage and provide strategic leadership to the Site and Cleaning teams To provide monthly supervision and ensure structures are in place for effective appraisal, personal development and performance management of the Site and Cleaning Teams To take all possible precautions to safeguard the welfare and safety of staff, pupils, students, visitors and the public, by implementing all policies related to safeguarding, health, safety and risk To manage the Maintenance and facilities budget in conjunction with SMT and the annual service development plans Adhere to the Premises Policy, working with SMT to ensure that new premises acquisition is managed appropriately, and disposal is managed in a timely and effective manner General Adhere to BeyondAutism’s Safeguarding Policies Work within the organisational Diversity Policy to promote equality of opportunity for all students and staff, both current and prospective Maintain high professional standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct and positive, courteous relations with students, parents and colleagues Adhere to policies as set out in the staff handbook Comply with the Data Protection Act/GDPR Undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time Navigate our Carbon Neutral ambitions by formulating and driving the charity sustainability targets This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities, and the post holder may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the grade of the job, as reasonably directed by the COO.
