At Ambitious about Autism, we are currently looking for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Specialist to join our team.
As a PBS Specialist you will be passionate about improving the quality of life for autistic children and young people with additional learning needs. You will provide specialist behavioural assessments and interventions to the children and young people (CYP) in the setting at TreeHouse School. You will be involved in undertaking direct assessment and intervention, and indirect assessment and monitoring with class teams, with a fluid caseload determined and prioritised by the needs of the cohort.
You will also work alongside colleagues, parents, and carers to enable them to better understand behaviours that challenge and teach functional replacements in order to reduce risk and increase access to education and future opportunities. All of your work will be in line with PBS principles and will be person-centred.
We are looking for someone that has:
- Board certified behavioural analyst qualification, or Masters level training in Positive Behaviour Support or equivalent experience
- Skilful in the use of complex methods of functional assessment and intervention
- Has advanced skills in building and maintaining positive relationships with children and young people, professionals and parents/carers

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Children's Services Co-ordinator to lead on the delivery of our services for children and young people with additional needs (SEND). This includes an Afterschool Club, Weekend and School Holiday Playschemes/Teens sessions and evening youth groups.

Key Responsibilities
Planning & Organisation
· Collaborate with the Team Leader to manage bookings and allocate places across sessions.
· Support with recruitment and line management of Group Leaders, Deputy Group Leaders, and sessional staff, working with the Head of Services and Talent Acquisition Manager.
· Develop creative, inclusive session plans in partnership with Group Leaders, ensuring activities meet the needs and interests of participants.
· Procure resources for sessions including sensory toys, arts and crafts materials, baking supplies, etc.
· Ensure session documentation and CRM records are accurately maintained.
· Maintain excellent communication with parents, carers, social workers, schools, and internal teams.
· Identify and coordinate training needs within the team, taking part in relevant professional development.
· Liaise with the Office Manager to ensure all spaces used are clean, safe, and hygienic.
· Work with the Marketing Manager to share impact stories, quotes, and photos (with appropriate consents).
Session Delivery & Quality
· Oversee the delivery of all sessions, ensuring they are age-appropriate, engaging, and meet the needs of young people with SEND.
· Supervise and coach staff during sessions, providing guidance on behaviour management and inclusion strategies.
· Ensure every session promotes fun, safety, and a sense of belonging.
· Support staff in session planning and resource management, ensuring spaces are left tidy and ready for the next use.
· Plan and coordinate meals/snacks for afterschool sessions, ensuring adherence to food hygiene standards.
· Foster independence in young people, supporting them to develop social, communication, and life skills.
· Provide hands-on support where needed, including personal care, eating and drinking, mobility, or emotional regulation.
· Implement a simple outcomes framework to measure impact and track progress.
Safeguarding, Incidents & Compliance
· Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, maintaining a vigilant and proactive approach to child safety.
· Record all incidents and accidents using CPOMS and escalate urgent concerns appropriately to the Head of Services and Quality and/or CEO (Designated Safeguarding Lead).
· Model professional curiosity and promote a culture of safeguarding awareness ("It could happen here" mindset).
General Responsibilities

About The Hub and Short Breaks service:
For over 20 years Norwood has run a Short Break service called Unity for young people on Sundays and during school holidays. Many families have benefited from this service, and it remains popular with families and local authority commissioners. There is a waiting list of children and young people across Barnet and Herts who wish to access this provision.
That’s why as part of our recently launched strategy, we’re expanding the Short Break Service offering, to support families and young people with a variety of choice and cohort-based opportunities including after school clubs. The opening of the Hub allows the expansion of activities throughout the week, term-time, and during school holidays, evenings and weekends.
With a recent refurbishment, we can now offer a location dedicated to supporting children throughout the week. The building has outdoor space, a sensory room, kitchen, activity rooms and multipurpose spaces which allow children the opportunity to thrive in a bespoke space for them.
The Children and Family Service Department will deliver an ambitious Whole Family Centred, Strengths and Needs Based Model to empower children, young people, and their families. This expert-led coordinated approach underpinned by robust governance and outcome and impact measures will seek to ensure families with a neurodivergent or neurodevelopmentally disabled child can realise their full potential and thrive. About the role:
This is one of a number of new vacancies being recruited as part of a dedicated team for the further development of the Hub and Short Breaks offering to extend the reach to more children and young people throughout the week.
As the Hub and Short Breaks Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, plus take the lead in the growth and development of the service to maximize the reach and opportunities for young people within the community. Essential skills and experience:

The Hawthorns House, where the residential provision will be offered, is situated in a brand-new purpose-built house with 10 bedrooms next to the site of the school. The build is due to be completed in Summer 2025.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to become part of and contribute to a new residential staff team. We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and committed Residential Team Members. These positions involve working with autistic children aged 7-16 years. The residential provision will cater for 10 pupils, with a gradual transition to its full capacity as the residential team develops.
The vision for the residential provision is to provide pupils with further opportunities to grow, learn, achieve and aspire to become participants in our local community. Our mission is to achieve this through secure relationships with residential staff in an environment providing outstanding care, to build the basis for a fulfilling life for children with autism.
You will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as being self-led and motivated. It will be a fast-paced and fun environment. You must be caring, fair and nurturing to enable our children to develop positive and trusting relationships. There will be a strong emphasis on supporting self-regulation, confidence and effective communication.

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community.
Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking for a project Administrator to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital, a project supporting young people who have experienced violence which has had a negative impact on their mental wellbeing.
Duties Include;
1. Updating and maintaining the project’s database from local NHS systems.
2. Identifying young people eligible for the service by screening referrals or trawling the hospital system and ensuring these are collated on the project database to be contacted by the youth workers.
3. Quality assure the data being recorded on the EVIDE system.
4. Preparing regular reports as required by the projects funders or other stakeholders.
You could be successful in this role if you:
· Have a relevant experience with administration, including using excel, word and other Microsoft systems.
· Have an eye for detail and accuracy.
· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.
· Are self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

Your role is to work out the best way to make this change happen by getting more senior leaders within policing to use our Guidance, toolkit, research and implementation tools to inform day to day operations and strategic decision making. This will involve:
- Developing great relationships with senior leaders and frontline police officers, generating a strong understanding of key policing issues, needs and behaviours, and building credibility and trust with the sector.
- Developing, managing and tracking the change plan to get more senior leaders to be aware of and use our Guidance, tools and resources, continuously looking for data-driven improvements.
- Creating practical tools and resources that help leaders put evidence into action.
- Supporting police forces, violence reduction units, and police and crime commissioners to develop or strengthen evidence-based practices, including focused deterrence, hotspots policing, and problem-orientated policing.
- Overseeing our partnership with the Society for Evidence Based Policing, helping us to collectively achieve our shared aims to promote evidence-base practice across the sector.
- Working out other effective ways to connect people with the evidence, then making those things happen, from putting on a brilliant conference to regular virtual learning events and presentations.

About You
You must have this sort of experience:

- You’ve working in or around policing, preferably in a role/setting specifically working with young people who are vulnerable to or involved in violence.

Barnardo's, in partnership with The London Borough of Sutton, is providing a floating support service for Care Leavers with low to medium levels of support needs.
The service provides floating support to Young People across a range of properties located within the borough of Sutton, as well as a small number of Young People based elsewhere in the community, mainly around The London Borough of Sutton and neighbouring boroughs.
Some residents are Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People (UASYP), or survivors of Human Trafficking, who are over the age of 18.
The service delivers key work support to each Young Person on an individual basis and additional group work sessions for property residents. Key work sessions are scheduled in collaboration with the Young Person. Key work hours will be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of the Young People and include regular evenings and weekends in order to fit around college and/or work schedules for Young People who are engaged in Education, Employment or Training.

Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Worker to join our new Supported Housing Scheme in Lambeth, an LGBTQ+ supported housing service with six units for young people aged 18-21 years. The service is due to open in late May 2025 and is part of a three-year funded joint project with Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association and Lambeth Council. The role is part of the Services team and is supervised by the Supported Housing Manager. Other members of the team include another part time Housing Support Worker and a part-time Youth Engagement Coordinator.

The service provides 24-hr supported housing for people with historic mental health history and complex needs, including problematic substance use.
