Fearless Youth Coordinator - Cardiff

As a Fearless Youth Coordinator, you will help young people to understand different crime topics and break down the barriers to reporting crime. This will be done through the delivery of workshops in schools and other youth settings. The Fearless Youth Coordinator will also build partnerships locally with other organisations, to provide a coordinated response to youth crime and exploitation across Cardiff.

About the role

The Support & Training Coordinator role involves:

• Managing onboarding processes for new facilitators attending training, ensuring clear communication of expectations and timelines, including safeguarding checks
• Supporting the Support Coaches by coordinating essential ongoing facilitator engagement: including group calls, follow up sessions, communication touchpoints and additional resources
• Coordinating the logistics of monthly facilitator training sessions, including placing orders, liaising with suppliers, monitoring stock levels and order numbers, and overseeing communications and systems
• Developing and maintaining systems that monitor and support the full facilitator journey — from onboarding through to ongoing support

We are looking to recruit a Mentoring Programme Co-ordinator that will work to expand The Salvation Army’s Starfish programme across the East of England Division. Starfish is a mentoring programme designed to work with children and young people in schools, aged 9-16 years.

Working within a school’s student wellbeing support, Starfish provides committed and trusted adults (mentors) to work with young people who need Early Help without which they would be at risk of not meeting their full potential. Their identified needs may relate to their health, educational or social development.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and grow the Starfish Schools Mentoring Programme within local primary and secondary schools ensuring efficient and effective delivery and monitoring.
• Recruit and support volunteer Starfish mentors from the local Salvation Army corps and other churches in line with Salvation Army volunteer and Safe & Sound guidelines.
• Support and supervise volunteer coordinators / mentors including identifying and facilitating relevant training.

Ashinaga UK is recruiting a Programme Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to support the delivery of the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) leadership scholarship programme for African Scholars studying in the UK. As part of a mission-driven global organisation, the coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth programme operations, student support, and administrative excellence throughout the annual Scholar cycle. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about helping young leaders thrive. The coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager to streamline processes, support events, maintain essential systems, and strengthen the overall Scholar experience across the year. 

The Ashinaga movement was founded in Japan in the 1960s and has since expanded across the globe, empowering over 120,000 orphaned youth with access to education and support to achieve their full potential. The Ashinaga Africa Initiative was launched 11 years ago with the aim of equipping future leaders for Africa through undergraduate scholarships and leadership development opportunities. Programme Coordinator

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.

LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.

Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.

As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. You’ll work closely with IRMO’s ESOL and Advice and Advocacy teams to ensure a joined-up and holistic approach.

We are excited to be recruiting a part-time Finance Coordinator to support the Finance team to 
fulfil day-to-day objectives and help the wider organisation to deliver its goals. This is a great 
opportunity to join The Brilliant Club Team at a time when we are moving into the delivery of our 
new Backing Brilliance strategy. 
The Finance Coordinator position will report to the Finance Manager. The role will manage a 
varied workload that includes checking and approving expenses, bank reconciliations, purchase 
invoices, maintaining purchase orders, support credit control, managing the Finance inbox and 
phone, responding to staff and supplier queries and supporting the Finance team with the 
departmental targets. The role requires an enthusiastic individual with an eye for detail and good 
interpersonal skills. 
The successful candidate will champion the charity’s values and embody them in interactions with 
colleagues and external stakeholders. To ensure excellent working relationships are maintained, 
they will be effective communicators with staff and external stakeholders. They will continually 
improve in their areas of responsibility, looking at how the Finance department can be more 
efficient and implementing new ideas. They will be positive and proactive, with a commitment to 
delivering excellent standards. 
While this role can be based in our London or Leeds offices, some travel will be required to London 
for events and to attend in-person meetings. 

About you

• Has experience in a similar finance role 
• Has good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

The Role at a Glance

Youth Mentor / Regional Team Lead (we call it Senior Programme Coordinator)

Merseyside & Stockport
£28,000 – £34,000 per year
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, including up to two evenings per week until 7pm

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Programme Coordinator, you'll help make sure that support reaches as many young people as possible and that it's delivered to a consistently high standard.

You'll lead a small team of sports coaches and youth mentors, helping them plan great sessions, develop their practice and overcome the day-to-day challenges that come with the job. You'll also build and maintain strong relationships with schools, alternative provisions and community partners to keep programmes running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role. Alongside keeping regional delivery on track, you'll still spend time working directly with young people: being a positive presence, modelling good practice and helping create the kind of safe, engaging environments where young people can thrive.

You'll also take the lead on the activities that go beyond our weekly sessions such as organising holiday programmes, Career Taster Days, regional trips and events that give young people experiences they wouldn't otherwise have. These are some of the most rewarding parts of the role and a real chance to see young people shine in a different context.

Building relationships in the community is a big part of this too. You'll get to know the local area, embed yourself in the networks around it and find partners, venues and opportunities that help deepen out work and enhance our engagement with young people.

You don't need to know anything about rugby to do this job well. What matters is your ability to connect with young people and the communities around them.

This is a role where you get to combine youth work, teamwork and programme coordination, making a real difference every day.
