The Academy Team are reflective expert trainers and facilitators. The Grants Officer will support the Senior Manager to develop and implement monitoring and reporting
processes across the Foundation’s grant-giving activities. To be successful in the role, you must have
excellent knowledge of results-based monitoring and reporting, demonstrate strong organisational and

The initial focus of the role will be monitoring and reporting in relation to the implementation of a Big 6

Youth Empowerment Fund (60%):

• Support the monitoring and reporting of the EU funded YEF programme. Including coordinationwithin the IAF and with the Big 6 designated leads.
• Communicating with and activating networks of national organizations to participate in the YEF,including sharing opportunities to take part in Big 6 advocacy activities and applying for youthled solutions open-call Local Solutions grants.

About the Role

As Policy and Public Affairs Officer at the National Youth Agency, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of youth work in England. You’ll be part of influencing national policy and driving change that directly impacts young people’s lives. Working within a dynamic and supportive team, you’ll be at the forefront of monitoring and interpreting developments across Westminster - from government consultations to parliamentary debates. Your work will ensure NYA stays ahead of the curve, responding swiftly to emerging policy trends and helping to shape national conversations. You’ll work with the team to use these policy insights to develop our influencing and advocacy efforts. Key responsibilities for this role will include:

Policy and public affairs support

• Research and track policy developments, political landscape changes, and other relevant areas to identify opportunities to further NYA’s policy calls.
• Monitor and report on parliamentary activities, government announcements, and consultations relevant to youth work.
• Compile and analyse data from various sources to support policy briefs, reports, and other written materials.
• Draft policy briefings, research summaries, consultation responses, letters, reports, newsletters and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships and record engagement on the CRM system.
• Work with the team with the preparation and delivery of youth participation activities to support our policy influencing objectives.

Event support

• Support the organisation, coordination and note-taking for meetings and events, including webinars, roundtables and political party conference activity. 
• Support with planning and executing of large events including attendee registration, youth participation, materials preparation and using the CRM system.

Other

• Represent the Policy Team at external and internal meetings, policy forums and events.
• Work collaboratively with other teams and directorates to help build an understanding of the work of the Policy and Public Affairs team and effective working relationships across the organisation.

About the Role

In this new role, you will contribute to enhancing the finance function within a growing and dynamic international charitable foundation. The role will enable you to work and continue your professional development across many aspects of the finance function. 

You will play an important part in our finance team’s further growth and professionalisation as Mission 44 extends its reach as a charity working in multiple countries. Roles and Responsibilities

Accounting (40%)

• Oversee day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, for both the UK charity and the newly created US charity
• Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records of accounting evidence for all transactions are maintained
• Monitor cashflow
• Support the HoFO in the month-end process
• Oversee and control monthly payroll with external payroll provider
• Oversee and control VAT returns with external accountants
• Check monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Develop the purchase order system

Financial Planning & Analysis (35%)

• Support the HoFO in the preparation of the monthly management accounts

Skills and experience

Essential

• Newly qualified or part qualified, working towards a chartered accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Evidence Programme Lead. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy.

We’re looking for a person with strong social research skills who has the ability to lead our Evidence team. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure we’re developing our evidence base to inform our work.

With extensive experience and knowledge of applied research, evaluation and data analysis, you’ll provide strategic leadership to design, develop and deliver a programme of evidence projects as well as managing a team of evidence officers, identifying gaps in our evidence and providing advice about how to fill them.

You’ll deliver internal projects and commission external research projects, working with colleagues in policy, press, campaigns and beyond to do so. Contributing to key internal working groups will be another key aspect of the role, as well as monitoring and responding to requests for evidence. And you’ll be committed to ensuring people with MS are involved in the design and delivery of evidence projects and to ensuring we seek views from people from a wide range of backgrounds.

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. You will also be a confident facilitator, as some group and training delivery will be expected.

This role would ideally suit a parent who has successfully managed their own perinatal mental health problems and those with good understanding of promoting positive perinatal mental wellbeing.

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

The Role

This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across regions, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region.

Mentoring programme

• Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
• Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
• Design and deliver events and workshops for mentees.
• Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
• Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
• Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
• Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
• Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network process in line with our child protection policy.
• Develop effective relationships with schools, on-boarding, supporting and retaining the partnerships.

Partnerships

• Work with the Senior Network Manager in your area to identify professional partnerships and sponsorship with local and national businesses.
• Work with your Senior Network Manager to identify a recruitment and retention plan for your area including key partners to work with.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.

Data Management and Monitoring
