About the role:

This role is based at Accrington working in a multi agency team at Lancashire House. As a MARRAC Team Leader you will:

• Ensure the effective delivery of the MARRAC process, hosting daily discussions with dedicated partners to support the initial assessment process
• Ensure consistent service delivery by allocating & monitoring work across the team, prioritising according to risk
• Work alongside the police safeguarding teams to deliver Operation Provide
• Chair MARRAC meetings, facilitating the sharing of sensitive information securely to deliver robust outcomes for victims
• Complete case management audits & produce reports
• Be responsible for safeguarding quality assurance & compliance, providing guidance on safeguarding issues
• Line manage a team including recruitment, training & coaching, performance management

You will need:

• Managment experience for a team delivering front line support
• An IDVA Safelives qualification or equivalent
• An understadning of domestic abuse & it's impact
• Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
• To understand Safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
• Theoretical, practical & procedural knowledge of civil & criminal justice remedies
• The ability to work with partner agencies
• Good organisational skills & the ability to prioritise effectively
• Strong crisis management skills, able to deal with stressful & difficult situations

This tole is based in Cumbria. Turning the Spotlight is a busy service supporting families experiencing domestic abuse including perpetrators. You will manage case workers and facilitators in our dedicated healthy relationships programme.

Lancashire Mind is a local charity working to prevent poor mental health. We support people experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We work with children and adults, offering universal services to help people improve their mental wellbeing, along with targeted services for people and communities at increased risk of experiencing poor mental health or facing mental health inequalities. To help us work towards our plans for embedding participation, we're looking for someone to join our Engagement and Inclusion Team to work with the communities we aim to serve, with a focus on those who are underrepresented within Lancashire Mind services. The role has been designed to ensure that the experiences, perspectives and ideas of local people are being listened to and acted upon.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within communities and knowledge of the barriers that people face to achieving mental wellbeing and accessing services. You'll be confident, creative and able to work autonomously in the community, where you'll communicate with a wide range of people and quickly build rapport.

The focus of the role will be to ensure that more people with lived experience of poor mental health know who Lancashire Mind are, what we do and how they can influence our work. You'll work with the Community Engagement Projects Lead to create a range of opportunities for people to participate, including establishing formal structures, for example a lived experience panel and youth advisory group, which you'll design with the people who want to get involved. You'll work with colleagues across all teams to ensure opportunities to influence Lancashire Mind's work are promoted to everyone who uses our services.

We have two Project Manager vacancies for our Young People in the Criminal Justice System Programme in Bristol. Project Manager (Support Worker): 1-1 support for young people at risk – 35 hours/week (full-time)

In this role you will provide 1-1 intensive support to a caseload young people who are identified as being at risk of offending or have already had some contact with the justice system (e.g. the police). You will provide face-to-face support to each young person, in their local community, to help them develop confidence, aspirations, and a pro-social mindset. Key to this will be helping them to recognise their strengths and capabilities, consider positive lifestyle choices, and create an action plan to help them move forward to a brighter future.

Project Manager (Course Tutor): “For My Future” delivery for young people – 14 hours/week (part-time)

“For My Future” is a bespoke 6-week course designed in 2019 specifically for people in the justice system. Focusing on both personal skills and practical ones (CVs, applications, interviews), the course is delivered either in person or online to small, single-sex cohorts over a 6-week period. To succeed in this role, you will have experience of supporting people in group scenarios and be confident presenting both in person and online. Groups will need to be carefully managed to ensure each young person gets the best experience and can benefit from the course.

• Previous experience in shift leading, supervising team members in the absence of the Registered Manager / Assistant Manager, including contribution to assessment and appraisal of the team.
• Have a sound knowledge around the safeguarding of the young people that we support.
• A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
• Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.

About the Role:

As a Group Work Practitioner, you will be delivering a range of group work courses and programmes to adults affected by crime in the Thames Valley. You will be required to manage your own caseload and work in collaboration with other service delivery staff within the Thames Valley Adult Victims Service.

The Thames Valley Adult Victims Service will provide emotional and practical support to adult victims of any crime. Support will primarily be delivered through specialist group work provision, alongside online and telephone support.

You will be confident in co facilitating the delivery of group work programmes to people with a range of different needs and will have strong empathy skills. You will need to be able to talk to groups of people and will be resilient and confident with supporting others, as well as happy to work as part of a team.

You will need to have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner.
