Working alongside healthcare professionals, peer volunteers, pharmacies and community organisations, you will drive the outreach van, and coordinate and deliver our mobile outreach service, bringing hepatitis C testing, harm reduction advice and healthcare support directly into local communities.

This is a varied and rewarding community-based role involving significant travel across the Oxford & Thames Valley region.

About the role

You will:

• Coordinate and deliver mobile outreach work activity across Oxford & Thames Valley
• Provide hepatitis C testing, harm reduction advice and Needle and Syringe Provision (NSP)
• Support people to access treatment, healthcare appointments and ongoing care
• Build partnerships with NHS teams, pharmacies, drug and alcohol services, homelessness services and other community organisations
• Recruit, supervise and support peer volunteers with lived experience
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the outreach van, including stock, equipment and session logistics

Hector's House was founded in 2016 by the family and friends of Hector Stringer, who died by suicide aged 18.

Today, we are a trusted local charity dedicated to preventing suicide and supporting people affected by suicide across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire

Working closely with our Support Lead, you will play a central role in delivering support to people experiencing emotional distress, those at risk of suicide, and people affected by suicide.

• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and complementary therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death. We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales and the bordering counties in England, including; Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset, with the plan to continue to roll out support to the whole of England. We work in partnership with professionals who refer int the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

Context of role:

Corporate partnerships raise vital income and awareness, allowing 2wish to support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person.

The Partnerships Coordinator provides coordination, administrative and relationship support across corporate partnerships, event sponsorship and partner stewardship.

Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, the role supports activity across Wales and England, ensuring partner engagement is well organised, accurately recorded and followed up.

The postholder will work with fundraising, events, marketing and regional colleagues to support a joined-up approach to partnership delivery.

The role will involve travel across Wales and England, with some evening and weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnerships Coordination and Delivery

• Support the Partnerships Manager to coordinate and deliver corporate partnership activity across Wales and England.
• Act as a point of contact for agreed corporate partners, sponsors and supporters, ensuring enquiries and actions are followed up promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate partner relationships, including communications, meetings, fundraising activity, sponsorship benefits and internal updates.
• Support the preparation of partnership materials including briefing notes, proposals, presentations, impact updates and stewardship communications.

Partner Stewardship and Engagement

New Opportunities and Research

• Support the identification of new corporate partnership, sponsorship and partner fundraising opportunities.
• Research potential partners, local businesses, networks and sponsorship prospects aligned to 2wish’s work and values.
• Help develop external networks that support income growth, awareness and regional engagement.
• Prepare background information and draft materials for new business conversations led by the Partnerships Manager and Head of Fundraising.

Event Sponsorship and Partner Activity

• Support the planning and delivery of sponsorship activity across 2wish events.
• Track and manage sponsor benefits, including acknowledgements, deadlines, logos, guest places, marketing requirements, payments and post-event follow-up.
• Work with the Events Coordinator and Marketing team to deliver sponsor activity effectively.
• Coordinate corporate partner involvement in events, including attendance, promotion, fundraising activity and supporter engagement.
• Support post-event stewardship, including thank-you communications, impact updates and renewal follow-up.

CRM, Reporting and Administration

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of corporate partners, prospects, sponsors, meetings, actions and income activity.
• Ensure all partnership activity is recorded consistently on the CRM and agreed internal systems.
• Monitor key timelines, including renewals, sponsorship deadlines, meetings, follow-up actions and reporting requirements.
• Support regular updates on partnership activity, pipeline progress, sponsorship status and key actions.
• Contribute to improving templates, processes and ways of working to ensure partnership activity is consistent and easy to manage.
• Share relevant updates with colleagues to ensure partnership activity is visible, coordinated and followed up.

Internal Collaboration

• Work with colleagues across 2wish, including fundraising, events, marketing and communications, and finance to ensure joined-up partnership activity.
• Collaborate with Regional Fundraisers to capture local corporate contacts, opportunities and activity, including identifying where local relationships may have wider partnership or sponsorship potential.
• Share relevant updates so partnership activity is visible, coordinated and followed up.
• Support a consistent and professional approach to corporate partnerships across Wales and England.

General:

• Be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures including GDPR, Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working, and implement safe working practices as appropriate.

What we do for you:

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. About this key role

Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to support and ensure end-to-end delivery across Wales within the Programme and Delivery team. The current focus is within our Creative Careers offer, however, this could evolve in terms of scope to include other flagship programmes in the future. This role will be crucial for liaising with Welsh schools, creative employers, speakers and the wider charity to coordinate and ensure best practices in programmatic delivery,  ensuring alignment with programme wide expectations and KPIs. Essentially, this role is the glue between Futures For All, stakeholder outreach and schools’ partners within Wales. The role will be crucial in coordinating and ensuring successful delivery of different programmatic interventions including, but not limited to, school talks, workshops and work experience for young people in Wales. efforts across that nation to successfully provide end-to-end deliver for Wales’s Creative Talks, Workshops and work experiences and achieve the aims.This includes working with the Futures For All programme teams (Work Experience and Speakers for Schools Teams), and our internal Evaluation and Education teams. 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Strategic purpose

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Talks and Work Experience opportunities from initial scoping with schools to securing commitments from speakers and employers, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and stakeholder follow up.  
• Nurturing relationships with key delivery partners to ensure employers or school introduced to the programme are seamlessly onboarded. 
• Working with partners in securing commitments from speakers and employers to deliver talks, workshops and multi-day work experience opportunities.  

• Account management and stewarding for speakers and employers throughout their journey.  

• Preparing employers and speakers to use all speaker and work experience guidance in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.  

• Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of opportunities.

Ashinaga UK is recruiting a Programme Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to support the delivery of the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) leadership scholarship programme for African Scholars studying in the UK. As part of a mission-driven global organisation, the coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth programme operations, student support, and administrative excellence throughout the annual Scholar cycle. We are looking to recruit a Mentoring Programme Co-ordinator that will work to expand The Salvation Army’s Starfish programme across the East of England Division. Starfish is a mentoring programme designed to work with children and young people in schools, aged 9-16 years.

Working within a school’s student wellbeing support, Starfish provides committed and trusted adults (mentors) to work with young people who need Early Help without which they would be at risk of not meeting their full potential. Their identified needs may relate to their health, educational or social development.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and grow the Starfish Schools Mentoring Programme within local primary and secondary schools ensuring efficient and effective delivery and monitoring.
• Recruit and support volunteer Starfish mentors from the local Salvation Army corps and other churches in line with Salvation Army volunteer and Safe & Sound guidelines.
• Support and supervise volunteer coordinators / mentors including identifying and facilitating relevant training.
• Oversee all pupil referrals to the programme, ensuring all relevant information and reports are submitted to schools. Attending multi-agency meetings when required.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring with pupils to increase participation in education, with a focus around emotional health and wellbeing including personal development and life skills, guided by a Trauma Informed Practice approach.

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree with relevant qualification in children’s or youth work qualification and/or extensive experience of working with children and youth in education ages 9-16 and or in the wider community. Applicants with transferable / relevant skills will also be considered.
• Knowledge of issues affecting young people (e.g. education, poverty, mental health) creative and cultural landscape.
• Excellent people skills with extensive experience in managing staff, volunteers and working with children and young people (individuals and groups).
• Ability to create and run age-appropriate positive mentoring activities.
• The credibility, confidence and skills to represent The Salvation Army appropriately and professionally in a variety of settings and be able to develop strong and effective partnership opportunities and relationships that will extend the reach and impact of the Starfish programme across a wide area.
• Experience conducting effective monitoring and evaluation to increase effectiveness.
