We are seeking creative and committed Volunteer Fundraisers to help us grow our small charity.

This is a remote volunteer role ideal for someone looking to use their creative fundraising knowledge to make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview
As a Volunteer Fundraiser at Barefoot and Free, you will be reuired to come up with fun ideas to fundraise, be able to engage people to fundraise and encourage new supporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute virtual and in-person fundraising events (eg raffles, quizzes, sponsored challenges)
• Liase with fundraisng volunteers (eg sponsored runners etc)
• Ensure events run smoothly by preparing, schedules, materials and plans. 
• Act as a main point of contact for invividual fundraisers and teams
• Regukar communication to offer encouragement and guidence.
• Procatively check they have everything they need (eg fundraisng pack, marketing materials) 
• Create.design a central fundraising tracker (eg excel or similar) 
• Log all fundraising activities, targets, deadlines ad progress updates 
• Collaborate with the social media volunteers (if applicable) to amplify campaigns
• Support the recruitment of new fundraising volunteers

Founded in 1997, the Islington Centre for Refugees and Migrants provides a place for refugees, migrants, and people seeking asylum to rebuild their life with support and community. From classes to casework to financial assistance, the Centre has a wide offering available for our community of over 200 people. Position Overview

· Championing volunteer engagement

· Initially, this role will support the initial contact of volunteers

· Fundraising support at the annual Garden Party picnic event

· Support at community events – fun runs, sponsor events

· Promotion of our charity lottery

· Possible involvement with arrangements of/attendance at large events, e.g. golf days, charity dinners

· Liaising with Volunteer Co-ordinator and Fundraising and Relationship Manager about events

· Sharing ideas about fundraising activities

This is a rewarding and enjoyable role. You will be working with the charities Fundraising and Relationship Manager. This role will also provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in doing volunteering work with people of all ages and to learn new skills, as well as develop existing ones.
