The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support for refugees and people seeking asylum who have experienced extreme human cruelty such as torture or human trafficking. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world. HBF delivers a specialist Model of Integrated Care that addresses the complex needs and vulnerabilities of survivors. The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries. We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18. We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.
About Help
Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.
This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client.
The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.
About the job
The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.
Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20.

We are looking for a people focused, temporary Operations Administrator who has some Salesforce experience, as you will be using the CRM on a daily basis. This is a full time 3 month temporary role offering hybrid working (1-2 days per week in their London office). This role has an immediate start.
- Keep operations organised and efficient, ensuring that all tasks are completed promptly and accurately. Be the go-to person for resolving operational issues and ensuring the team can focus on their core responsibilities. Foster a positive and supportive work culture by providing assistance and guidance as needed. Cultivate strong relationships with external partners and service providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring service quality. Liaising with the Bookkeeper to raise invoices for school bookings. Supporting volunteer activities; including onboarding, booking training and off-boarding Managing the school bookings processes, from initial enquiries through to post-activity data input, liaising with colleagues as appropriate to ensure these remain efficient and effective Managing the recruitment, allocation and monitoring of delivery teams (facilitators and role models) to fulfil the bookings and providing delivery teams with booking details in an accurate and timely manner Demonstrate a deep commitment to diversity, inclusion, and compassion, inspiring others to do the same.

Off the Record is an award-winning young people’s mental health charity offering a range of support services for children and young people across the London Boroughs of Croydon, Sutton and Merton. Our vision is to offer huge amounts of compassion and professional insight to children and young people living in these areas.
We’re currently recruiting two full-time Charity Administrators. The posts are office based and offer a great opportunity for a varied role in a forward-facing young people’s mental health charity.
To be successful in the role you must:
· Have an interest in and empathy for young people
· Be able to respond sensitively to young people in distress on the phone, in person, via email and text
· Have a professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
· Be highly computer literate and confident using Office 365
· Have very good organisational, administration and time management skills
· An ability to work within organisational frameworks and structures
· A commitment to operating within the policies of the charity including confidentiality and Equality and Diversity
In return we offer a salary of £29,507 p.a., inclusive of Outer London Weighting.
