This is an opportunity to help support a busy organisation doing important work. Your work will make it possible for us to support a team of fact checkers, communicators, fundraisers and technologists.
Millions of people use our fact checking, including most of the major internet companies. We get powerful people and institutions to correct the record, including politicians and the national media. We are campaigning to ensure that the power to shape online debate is scrutinised and not abused.
We’re looking for someone who can support our talented team of 40 people, by making sure the organisation runs smoothly and being a ‘go-to’ person.
You will join our small Operations team who manage our finances, governance and people operations. We oversee policies, processes and systems so that it is easy and enjoyable for people to do their best work. That means making sure everyone has what they need to do their jobs. You will manage queries, provide basic IT and financial support, support recruitment and make sure people have a good experience whether they are starting or leaving us. You’ll keep the office running smoothly and make sure we have up to date documentation.

This is a new role to deliver projects to raise our profile, enhance our brand visibility, drive engagement, raise income and help us to develop positive relationships with our key stakeholders and audiences.
Key responsibilities, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications:
- General: Provide day-to-day marketing and communications support to the wider organisation and to promote our programme delivery and our philanthropy advice offers.
- Web: Regularly review and update existing website content, including responding to requests from across the team.
- Social media: Manage the social media calendar, including sourcing and creating content, across all platforms – in line with our content and marketing strategy.

- Copywriting: Create copy as needed for marketing collateral and publications, reports, campaigns and website.
- Press and PR: Research stories, produce press releases and case studies, maintain media lists and record and evaluate media coverage.
- Brand Management: Manage our library of brand assets. Liaise with grant recipients regarding the acknowledgement of our funding and use of our logo. Review and establish a new online Photo Library, ensuring imagery is collected and stored in line with GDPR.
- Printed materials: Manage the design and production of reports and marketing collateral.
- Events: Support the delivery of organisational events and attend relevant external events to promote our programme delivery and our philanthropy advice offers.
- Video editing and creation: Develop our capacity to produce our own video content to support our marketing and communications activities.
- External suppliers: Liaise with printers, web agency, caterers and other suppliers when required.
- Contribute as a team member to the overall development of the Community Foundation.

This is a full-time (Monday - Friday working 9am - 5pm) position and with opportunities for hybrid working with some time each week in our office in central Devizes. We’re looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of database systems and who understands their importance to organisations like Al-Khair Foundation. We seek someone who is naturally process-driven and has a great eye for detail. You will be responsible for specific monthly processes, such as organisation income reconciliation and ongoing data uploads and cleansing for the Fundraising teams. Your Role
Al-Khair Foundation uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters, and stakeholders, including recording all donations made to the organisation. Al-Khair Foundation’s Database Officer will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income and data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, update and create new supporter records on the database, process cheques and payment requests, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly.
You will also work closely with colleagues in the Database team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing, and other database-related functions that happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce.
Aside from these core duties, from time to time, you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. This may include supporting the Supporter Care Assistant during busy periods with customer care via email and telephone and recording updates, processing invoices, and maintaining and updating team rotas and trackers.
Your Responsibilities

Free Tibet is a small but effective campaign organisation based in south London. We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager who can transform our routine fundraising and lead expert strategies for income generation. Job Description
Fundraising
- Oversee all income-generation activity across Free Tibet and Tibet Watch. Ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams. Current streams include postal appeals, online appeals, and the Free Tibet online shop.
- Manage applications for grant funding on behalf of both Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, working with the Fundraising Officer to build a strong portfolio of five and six-figure grants and steward them for renewal.
- Lead on the recruitment and retention of donors, especially Major Donors, and redevelop supporter journeys and stewardship programs.
- Evaluate new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation, especially corporate and challenge events / community fundraising.
- Impact reporting of fundraising activity and the performance of quarterly appeals, with a view to improve internal processes for greater income innovation and ROI.
- Liaise with the Free Tibet Campaigns & Research Teams to ensure that campaigning, digital and fundraising activities are seamlessly coordinated.
- Managing relationships with third party agencies, like mailing services and digital mobilisation agencies, making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

Designing and developing marketing plans and campaigns for legacy and In Memorium giving under the guidance of the Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible to ensure legacy fundraising is promoted as an integral part of CHSW fundraising and in line with CHSW’s fundraising strategy, to include development of and leading new fundraising initiatives and relevant events.
You will be leading, driving, developing, and delivering Gifts in Wills and In Memorium appeals and campaigns, developing effective Will writing and Tribute Fund partnerships and accountable for growth in legacy and In Memorium supporter bases.
You will be responsible for growing our legacy enquiries and pledgers and In Memorium donors and Tribute Fund holders by effective attraction, engagement, and stewarding strategies.
In addition to this, you will be supporting the Legacy Officer with the administration of the legacy notification caseload.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience of working in a fundraising and/or marketing environment and developing integrated campaigns
• A proven track record of income generation working to targets and deadlines.
