About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team to provide administrative and event delivery support across all event and fundraising activities. This will include a wide range of admin and support tasks pre-event, onsite and post-event for the BOA’s flagship event, BOA Annual Congress, and other educational, social and fundraising events, both face to face and virtual, delivered by the team. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive administration systems across the events and fundraising team, corresponding with members, Stakeholders, delegates, fundraisers etc, using the CRM database, updating event and fundraising content on the BOA website, and supporting content creation for social media.

BACKGROUND

Ashiana is a ‘by and for’ women led BME VAWG service with 30 years’ experience in delivering a holistic range of specialist services to South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern women affected by Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG).

OUR SERVICES

Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bedspaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG, enabling them to make informed decisions and exit violent relationships. We provide a legal service supporting women with no recourse to public funds to help resolve their immigration status.

Counselling is offered for women and girls affected by VAWG. The counselling service works from an integrative stance, with the focus of providing a holistic service whereby we also work alongside other services and provide specialist domestic violence group work. The emphasis of therapeutic work with our clients is from a trauma informed model.

We also deliver an education programme for young people in secondary schools in East London aimed at preventing domestic violence and enabling young people experiencing domestic violence to access appropriate services. The prevention service includes delivering a whole school approach in schools to young people as well as group work to women and girls across North East London boroughs as well as community engagement activities and delivery. We deliver a range of awareness raising workshops for young people in the community and training on domestic violence for professionals in the voluntary and statutory sector.

The postholder will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred In-Work Support to Disabled employees and their employers. • Update and maintain accurate support plans for In Work Support clients.
• Carry out regular workplace visits/support assessments and remote check-ins with employees to review progress and provide support.

Monitoring, Feedback, and Quality Assurance

• Chase, read, action, and securely store all feedback forms.
• Share relevant feedback and service updates with line manager in a timely manner.
• Ensure all CRM systems are updated with accurate and up-to-date records.

Recruitment Administration

• Support the recruitment process by being part of the interview panel, chasing references, scanning and storing key documents, and completing necessary online checks.
• Monitor and record completion of mandatory online training for new and existing staff.

Events and Communications

• Support the organisation and delivery of three annual staff events, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Create a fortnightly newsletter with updates, stories, and resources related to In-Work Support from feedback and visits.

The post holder will play a key role in advancing the National Theatre’s public policy and advocacy objectives, ensuring effective delivery of projects, communications, and relationships that support our strategic goals. The post holder will work as part of the Policy team within the Communications department.

We are seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant (Supervisor) with experience in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings. Evidence of professional development in dementia care is essential. You'll inspire care teams to provide compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each resident’s needs. You'll create personalised care plans, promote health and well-being, and ensure that the preferences and choices of residents are central to their care.

The role offers 36 hours per week, working 3 shifts over 7 days. Our night shift runs from 8:00pm to 8:00am, including weekends and bank holidays. 
 
Rate of pay: £15.22 to £16.36 per hour inclusive of night allowance.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Manage shifts effectively to ensure everything runs smoothly and that care is always a top priority.
- Guide and support team members to help them develop professionally.
- Assess individual care needs, create personalised care plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure it’s done safely and accurately.
- Provide compassionate care, particularly in end-of-life situations, offering emotional support to residents and their families.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will hold a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care or equivalent and will be willing to work towards a Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisory Apprenticeship Standard. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
