Just Like Us (JLU) is the UK’s LGBT+ young people’s charity, empowering 18–25-year-olds to share their experiences in schools and improve LGBT+ inclusion through peer-led talks and ambassador programmes.
This joint role represents an exciting partnership between two organisations committed to racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion and systemic transformation.
1. Just Like Us (3.5 days/week): To support the delivery of Just Like Us’ Ambassador and School Talks programmes – including recruitment, training and coordination of young LGBT+ volunteers and engaging with schools to foster inclusive environments.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Risk Information Officer to join our Health Services, Equity and Improvement Directorate, to sit within the Clinical Services team (consisting of the Specialist Nurse service and Risk Information Service). We deliver a wide range of high-quality services directly to anyone affected by prostate cancer or prostate problems, as well as supporting a range of charity-wide activity.
As Risk Information Officer, you’ll deliver the charity’s Risk Information Service, providing information and support to men at risk of prostate cancer, and their loved ones, via the telephone, email and social media. This is an exciting time to join the team as we anticipate a decision from the National Screening Committee on a prostate cancer screening programme in autumn 2025.
This is a non-clinical role, but you’ll discuss service users’ risk of prostate cancer along the lines of the predominant risk factors (age, ethnicity, family history and BRCA gene status). You’ll also be able to help men make an informed decision about PSA testing by discussing the test’s advantages and limitations and informing them how to access a PSA blood test through their GP. You’ll work closely with the Specialist Nurses to ensure people who need more complex clinical information are supported.
You’ll also discuss the charity’s upcoming TRANSFORM trial and how Prostate Cancer UK is working hard to improve the current landscape and reduce some of the barriers men face around prostate cancer.
You’ll play a key role in developing the Risk Information Service, contributing to conversations and decisions around how to adjust and improve it. You’ll also report back on your work, to help the charity develop its broader understanding of information and support needs when it comes to prostate cancer risk and the PSA blood test.
Reporting into the Clinical Services Senior Officer, you’ll have close and regular contact with assigned Specialist Nurses so that you feel at ease in sharing prostate cancer related information with callers, and in maintaining the boundaries and scope of the service day-to-day. This is a fixed term role until the end of October 2026 covering an internal secondment.
What we want from you
You’ll be a compassionate and resilient communicator; you may be speaking to callers who may be anxious about their risk of prostate cancer. You’ll be a great listener, hearing callers’ concerns and offering a supportive and empathetic response. Although this is a non-clinical role, a strong understanding of the UK healthcare system and a good working knowledge of urology (for example, an understanding of prostate cancer and the PSA blood test) would be an advantage.
You’ll be comfortable in handling more complex conversations, but with the self-awareness to recognise your limitations in offering support and recognising clear boundaries of guidance being provided and be able to direct to our Specialist Nurses when needed.
Experience in using a CRM system will be advantageous in this role and any experience with a helpline or providing support or information over the phone will be beneficial.

SDT works within the Finance and infrastructure group, liaises across all teams in CAFOD, and external service providers to ensure donations are processed within agreed service levels and quality standards. Accountability
The post holder reports to the Supporter Donations Manager and will work alongside a team of Supporter Donation Assistants, collectively delivering the team’s key aims and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Supporter Care:
- Handle telephone, email and postal enquiries from supporters; identifying and resolving queries in a prompt, warm and sensitive way.
- Provide phone cover to the Supporter Care team as required.
- Provide Reception training to the Supporter Care team as required.
Donations:
- Accurately code donations received, ensuring agreed departmental procedures are followed.
- Process, set up and administer instructions and payments through a variety of donations channels and schemes such as Online, Direct Debit, standing orders, BACs, Payroll giving schemes and online giving platforms.
- Input and maintain data on CAFOD’s supporter database, ensuring high degrees of accuracy on our donor records.

Gift Aid:
- Understand Gift Aid and its application within CAFOD.

Thanking:
- Produce and dispatch letters to thank and acknowledge donations received.

Post/banking:

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. Purpose of the Job
We are looking for the Assistant Kitchen Manager to play a key role in the Kitchen team.
Felix’s Kitchen is the longest running Production site we have here at The Felix Project, the staff and volunteer team in the kitchen, turn surplus food into almost 5,000 meals a day. These meals are cooked and packed on site and then go into our network of depots and on to some of the 1,200 community organisations we support.
This role is support in the managing of the day to day running of the kitchen, its team, the food production and packing of the meals and all aspects related to these responsibilities. Assist The Kitchen Manager in all aspects of the operation and planning for the kitchen.
No two days are ever quite the same in our kitchen, we work with volunteers and surplus food this means we adapt and thrive in a fast and changing environment. This role supports and oversees the entire operation, from the kitchen and chef team to the packing room and packing team, our volunteers and engaging and organising within the wider Felix Project.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Support all kitchen staff so they can fulfil their role

Role purpose
Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.
The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.

Role Overview
The Interim Director of Development (Maternity Cover) will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of all fundraising and development activities at the MCC Foundation during a period of parental leave. This role ensures continuity of fundraising operations, oversees a small team, and supports the Foundation's ongoing donor engagement and income generation priorities.
The successful candidate will step into a well-functioning development team and bring the ability to maintain momentum, lead a capable team, and sustain strong relationships with donors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Ideal start date of mid to end of August.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and continuity for the Foundation’s fundraising team, supporting colleagues to maintain momentum and ensuring ongoing delivery of the development strategy.
- Oversee and guide the team’s work on major donor and high-value supporter relationships, ensuring effective cultivation and stewardship continue. Support the Director, Trustees, and Philanthropy Manager in their engagement with key donors.
- Provide strategic oversight of the donor stewardship programme, ensuring the team continues to prioritise thoughtful, relationship-led approaches at all levels of giving.
- Guide and support the team in managing a robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring clear solicitation plans and donor journeys are in place to meet agreed financial targets.
- Lead and oversee the Foundation’s Trusts and Foundations fundraising activity, providing guidance on prospecting, proposal development, and reporting, while supporting the team to deliver high-quality applications and steward existing relationships.
- Oversee and support the team’s planning and delivery of fundraising events, including donor cultivation and stewardship events, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
- Support and mentor the small development team, ensuring team members are empowered to maintain momentum and deliver key fundraising activities.
- Ensure the effective use of the CRM system (Salesforce), maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless donor administration and stewardship processes.
- Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant standards, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, and MCCF’s safeguarding and reputational management policies.
- Act as a committed advocate of the MCC Foundation’s mission and programmes, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the Foundation’s work and impact.
Personal Specification
- Proven experience in senior fundraising roles, with a strong track record in major donor and trust fundraising.
- A deep understanding of different forms of fundraising and the opportunities that exist for organisations like MCC Foundation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and motivating small teams.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities, with a donor-centric approach.
- Experience overseeing donor stewardship programmes and managing high-value fundraising pipelines.
- Competence in fundraising event oversight and delivery.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and data-driven fundraising.
- Excellent understanding of fundraising compliance, including GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
