About the role

We are recruiting for two Shop Supervisors to join our Islington and Archway shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and deliver positive social impact in the local community while also raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness. 

As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the shop manager and assistant shop manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. You will work towards ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.

This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression through training and development.

Location: Crisis Shop Islington x 1: 211 Upper St, London N1 1RL and Crisis Shop Archway x1: 34 Junction Rd, Archway, London N19 5RE

Hours: 40 hours, five days over a seven-day rota you will need some ability to work flexible days which will be discussed at interview.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have significant retail or customer service experience alongside a genuine interest in charity retail. The role and your key responsibilities

As a Partner Success Lead your role is to provide world class customer service to our partner base of over 2,500 schools and colleges. You will be responsible for onboarding our new schools and supporting our existing schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Partner management

• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from our existing 2,500+ partners.

• Onboarding our new schools by setting them up on our platform and making sure teachers and students are ready to get the most out of Unifrog.

• Continually improving our onboarding materials and processes using feedback from our partners.

• Partner training and support

• Training staff remotely on how to use the platform.

• Troubleshooting issues and providing on-the-spot support via phone, email and video calls.

• Ad hoc tasks

• Leading on and supporting a variety of other projects across other parts of the business during quieter periods.

• Proactively working to foster a sense of community amongst our Unifrog partners and always thinking about how we can promote the sharing and embedding of Unifrog best practice across our partner schools.

• Supporting the team with general admin.

Key Tasks – support the MD in creating and delivering a member engagement and events programme

1. Conception and collaboration of member events, through to completion

2. Promoting events to members, working alongside REB’s external PR/Communications agency

3. Managing event registrations and guest lists

4. Responsible for line managing the events administrator

6. Attending meetings with members re event planning and development

7. Reporting quarterly to the board and attending board meetings with the Executive team

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage and deliver REB’s event programme (working with MD and ED&I coordinator):

o upload event listings to website;

o prepare invitations;

o liaise with host venues;

o oversee registrations & comms;

o obtain event feedback

2. Monitor and evaluate events including reviewing feedback and attendance

3. Coordinate the CEO Breakfasts series

4. Maintain the Events page on the REB website

5. Maintain a database of venues

6. Identify, approach and secure appropriate speakers and participants for events

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Our client, a prestigious London University, is currently seeking a temporary, full time (35 hours per week) Student Immigration Compliance & Advice Officer, running for 5 months in the first instance. The role offers a hybrid working model, with 1 day per week based on-site in Central London and the rest remote.

About the role

Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Engagement team as our Legacy Fundraising Officer. This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week. This role will working flexibly between home and our office in King's Cross, London.

• To work closely with the Legacy Manager and Head of Individual Giving & Legacies in shaping and delivering the legacy marketing and administration programme to achieve annual income targets and other KPIs.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and supervision to a number of therapeutic services within Richmond Borough Mind. Our developed and respected Psychotherapy and Counselling Service has been providing long-term counselling interventions to local residents since 1988. The service is self-funded and offers a range of therapies which aim to provide individuals with the support and opportunity to work through their difficulties in depth with a skilled and experienced trainee or fully qualified therapist. Sliding scale rates are offered to make sure that we are accessible to all. We are looking for a skilled and qualified (or in advance training) counselling supervisor to provide clinical supervision, leadership, management and service development of our Psychotherapy and Counselling service. • Acting as the main point of contact for entrepreneurs on a cohort, ensuring they all have the information they need to get the most out of programmes
• Communicating with founders individually and as a cohort including via phone, email, zoom
• Leading on administrative matters, including calendar invitations, permissions, photographs, and communications 

Programme delivery and support

• Ensuring that workshops, events, and sessions run smoothly and deliver a great experience for everyone involved 
• Providing technological support with tools including Zoom breakout rooms, Circle etc.
• Producing materials to support founders’ learning, including PDFs, slides, and spreadsheets
• Supporting the programme manager with the recruitment of founders which sometimes includes; Interviewing, shortlisting, and selection during recruitment cycles. 

Working with external freelancers and volunteers

• Briefing and training skilled volunteers, experts and facilitators to ensure high-quality delivery of support sessions
• Coordinating 1:1 support for founders with skilled volunteers/experts on the programmes
• Ensuring the right contracts with founders, facilitators and expert speakers are in place
• Helping maintain our database of expert speakers, freelancers and volunteers
• Identifying and onboarding new freelancers and volunteers by networking, researching, and attending external events

This role will support the delivery of our Impact and Evaluation strategy. This area of our work helps us to understand the impact of our grantmaking and creates and evaluates internal and external datasets to improve our work. Responsibilities:

Data Collection: Assist with the collection and storage of research and survey data, including demographic data and outcomes indicators, employing quantitative and qualitative methods. Gather and engage with external open and government datasets. 

Database Administration: Retrieve and analyse datasets from internal databases, responding to requests for data from the team. Update and enter data into key dashboards to monitor trends and issues. 

Data Analysis: Assist with data analysis tasks, including cleaning and analysing quantitative data using software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI), as well as coding and analysing qualitative data using thematic analysis techniques.

Reporting and Presentations : Assist with the preparation of key reports, dashboards, and presentations summarising key findings, trends, and insights from impact and evaluation activities for fundraising purposes, including developing content for social media.

We are seeking an organised and driven individual for a maternity cover to lead on our education and training programme, which is facilitating the growth of a talented workforce by inspiring, connecting and retaining the next generation. Events

• Young Furniture Makers Exhibition - To plan, organise and deliver the annual one-day exhibition showcasing the best new talent to industry. Securing event sponsorship and working with sponsors during the organisation process to ensure positive relationships. Working with over 70 exhibitors, multiple sponsors and external suppliers to ensure a successful event.
• Young Professional Industry Engagement event programme - To plan, organise and deliver the annual three-week programme of CPD visits for a selected group of participants to industry hosts across the UK. Working with participants and over 20 organisations to schedule and deliver the programme.
• Furniture Making T-Level conference – Working with the Chair of the Education and Training Committee and selected members to plan, organise and implement a one-day conference on the practicalities of overing the Furniture T-Level in an educational setting.
• Organise and attend several regional career fairs and trade shows to promote the education and training initiatives and encourage young people to consider a career in furniture and furnishings.
• Plan and organise the content of an Education and Training slot at the annual Furniture Makers’ HR Conference to highlight key events and programmes.
• Ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion is considered in all aspects of Education and Training events.

Grants

• Administer a small annual grants scheme supporting colleges and universities which provide specialist furniture and furnishing education courses.
• Manage a travel bursary scheme to support exhibitors attending the Young Furniture Makers Exhibition.

Website

• Administer the jobs board featured on the My Furniture Career website, screening and approving posted vacancies as well as liaising with those posting jobs to confirm the status of the vacancy, sharing data once the vacancy expires and collecting feedback data from the poster.
• To work with the Digital Officer to agree a schedule of content for the website and its associated social media.
• Work with the Communications Manager and Digital Officer to promote the use of the website by the targeted audience group as well as the HR community to post vacancies to the jobs board.
• Produce a quarterly report detailing the usage and any highlights regarding the website.
• Report any technical issues to the website provider and liaise with them to fix the issue.

Reporting

• Quarterly reporting on activity and budget to the Education and Training Committee.
• Supporting the Committee Chair by setting up Committee meetings and taking minutes.
• Supporting the Committee Chair with any other administration as necessary related to the Committee. 
• Assist with any ad hoc administration as necessary related to the FIESTA Committee.

Miscellaneous

• Assisting the Education and Training Committee Chair with any administration in regard to the Masters Certificate Scheme.
• Send quarterly feedback surveys mentoring participants and collect the data for reporting purposes.
• Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to promote Education and Training events.
• Keep the Education and Training budget up to date and process all invoices in a timely manner.
• Report back to all event sponsors after any Education and Training sponsored event to keep sponsors updated and aware of the events successes.

Title: Legacy Marketing Manager

Salary: £40,000 to £43,000 per annum

Key responsibilities

These include but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.
• Plan, develop and implement high impact, audience-centric legacy marketing campaigns to attract new legacy pledgers, considerers and enquirers. This includes activity across a range of channels from social media, digital, telemarketing, direct mail and events.
• Develop and implement compelling supporter journeys to effectively steward potential legators.
• Ensure that all legacy marketing campaigns are managed efficiently and effectively.
