What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll work directly with children, young people and families who have experienced trauma, delivering high-quality psychological interventions as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You’ll balance clinical work with supervision, collaboration and contributing to service development, helping ensure our work is effective, evidence-based and centred on the needs of those we support.
- Deliver trauma-informed clinical interventions (1:1, family and group work)

- A recognised clinical qualification with current professional registration (e.g. HCPC, UKCP, NMC, ACP or BACP)
- Experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children, young people and families affected by trauma
- Training in evidence-based approaches such as TF-CBT, MBT-CYP or parenting interventions
- Experience working within multidisciplinary and multi-agency systems
- Confidence in assessment, formulation and outcome-focused practice
- Experience of supervising or supporting trainees (or readiness to do so)
- A clear commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of clinical work

The Learning and Development Coordinator is key to setting and maintaining the strategic direction for the people and culture team, as part of the learning and development function in L'Arche. Summary of the Role
Inclusion Gloucestershire is commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council to carry out Quality Checks of residential homes, supported living settings, day services and domiciliary care providers across the county. The purpose of these checks is to ensure that disabled people who live in these settings are safe, healthy and happy, and that the care that they receive is appropriate to their needs.
Our Quality Checks are peer-led. Every Quality Check involves a team of two people, a Quality Checker (Expert by Experience) who has lived experience of disability, autism and/or mental ill health working alongside a Quality Checking Coordinator. The Coordinator’s role is to facilitate the quality check on the day, record all of the information gathered and produce a report which identifies good practice and areas for improvement. The Expert by Experience will lead on asking questions during a Quality Check and contribute to the report by telling the Quality Checking Coordinator what they thought about the setting.
Inclusion Gloucestershire provides a comprehensive framework of questions asked by the Expert by Experience on the visit and used to write the report with. The framework focuses on questions for the people who are supported in the setting and also includes questions for the staff and manager.
Job Purpose: To organise and facilitate Quality Checks, working alongside and supporting Quality Checkers to complete Quality Checks in a range of care and support settings.
Reports to: Quality Checking Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Carry out a minimum agreed number of Quality Checks per month alongside an Expert by Experience. Quality Checks include questions for people who are supported, the staff who support them and the manager of the setting. They also include observations and checks of some paperwork and processes.
· Liaise with our administrator to ensure quality checks are risk-assessed and sufficient preparation carried out.
· Support the Quality Checker to prepare for the visit.
· Capture information about the setting and liaise with individuals and providers to ensure visits are accessible and inclusive.
· Support the Quality Checker to interview and interact with participants in the process.
· Make observations during the Quality Check and look at identified documentation.
· Record all information gathered during the Quality Check using the appropriate frameworks and tools.
· Review your findings with the Quality Checker, assess what is good practice and where improvements need to be made.
· Write an accurate and comprehensive report and action plan for each setting visited.
· Complete follow up visits, where necessary, to ensure actions are completed by Providers.
· Share reports and action plans with the Council and the Providers.
· Be aware and act on the need to report safeguarding concerns.
· Advocate for Inclusion Gloucestershire and its projects at meetings and events and within your own appropriate networks.

Line management of Quality Checkers:
· Working according to the values of the organisation, promoting a strength-based and inclusive approach in support for your team.
· Providing day to day support for Experts by Experience with managing diaries, administration duties and facilitation of visits.
· Providing formal and recorded one-to-one support at a minimum of four times per year for identified colleagues but tailored to individual need and in line with policy and procedure.

The common thread throughout the project is the engagement of families and the parent volunteers, who widen the supportive “community” around the families, and connect the school to the home, and the partners to each other. Approximately 70% of this role will be based in local schools in Grahame Park.
As our Family Engagement Coordinator, you will:
- Build strong relationships with primary schools in Grahame Park, in Barnet.
- Promote Home-Start’s services through school and community events.
- Support communication between schools, families and partner agencies.
- Share updates through newsletters, WhatsApp, email and community channels.
- Signpost families to local services and activities that support wellbeing.
- Receive referrals and assess family needs.
- Deliver school-readiness workshops and parenting groups.
- Liaise with schools, health and community services
About You

- Experience working or volunteering in schools, nurseries, family support or similar settings.

As the TLG Therapeutic Hub Counsellor, you will deliver specialist trauma-aware care through 1:1 counselling and group interventions for pupils. Working closely with a Family Champion from the partnering church, you will also lead Reflective Care groups for parents/carers and staff, promoting wellbeing and fostering wrap-around care for each young person supported through the hub. High standards of safeguarding and accurate record-keeping will be central to your work, and through regular collaboration with the pilot team, you will help to shape and refine this exciting new initiative.
We are looking for a Level 4 qualified Counsellor or Therapist who thrives in a school setting and is passionate about bringing fullness of life for young people and families, helping them overcome the challenges they face. You will be confident in building strong relationships and working collaboratively to design a weekly programme that meets both client and school needs. Creativity is highly valued, and we welcome applicants with creative specialisms that are particularly effective for engaging young people.

The postholder will play a key role in strengthening national, regional and local responses to violence against women and girls (VAWG) affecting Black, minoritised and migrant women. They will design, develop and deliver a high-quality, influential training programme for statutory agencies, voluntary sector organisations and other key stakeholders on VAWG, including domestic abuse, harmful practices such as ‘honour’-based abuse, force marriage, and related forms of gender-based violence.
The role will have a particular focus on the intersections between VAWG, immigration and asylum systems, and no recourse to public funds (NRPF), ensuring that professional responses are rights-based, trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of structural racism and gender inequality.
Working collaboratively with SBS colleagues, project partners and, where appropriate victim-survivor, the postholder will ensure that training is informed by lived experience and SBS’s long-standing specialist practice, contributing to improved policy, practice and outcomes for Black, minoritised and migrant women.
The postholder will also contribute to the wider work of SBS, supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives, feminist values and commitment to challenging violence against women and girls in all its forms.

We are currently looking for a Policy Specialist to join Mencap. This position sits within the Policy and Public Affairs teams of Mencap’s Campaigns, Advocacy and Activism Directorate (CAA). You will work closely with our influencing, information and advice, campaigning, and research work, as well as sector partners like the Disabled Children's Partnership.
This is an exciting new role to deliver policy change and enhance the rights of children and young people with a learning disability. At a key time to influence Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education reform, we are seeking a policy specialist to shape policy work that reflects the needs and experiences of children, young people, and their families. Working within the policy team, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy work and influencing decision-makers.
This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week). We are flexible with your work location, but there may be some occasional travel needed to our London office or Westminster.
You will:
· Translate complex work into clear and persuasive policy briefings, consultation responses and reports.
· Work within wider coalitions of charities, building collaborative relationships and ensuring that the needs and priorities of our community are addressed.
· Develop and expand Mencap’s ‘Policy Shapers’ work, ensuring our work reflects the experiences of children and young people with a learning disability and their families.
· Support our information and advice team, briefing them on important developments, inputting into casework discussions relevant to your areas of work, and supporting the creation of public information resources.
· Represent Mencap at meetings and events, with MPs, civil servants, and sector partners.
· Identify and analyse relevant research to develop evidence-based policy recommendations.
You will bring to this role:
· Experience of working on public policy issues.
· Strong communication skills: experience tailoring your messaging to a variety of different audiences and representing an organisation.
· Experience building positive relationships and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes; able to positively challenge, negotiate and compromise.
· The ability to work on your own initiative while contributing to team priorities and sustain enthusiasm under pressure.

· Knowledge the issues facing children and young people with a learning disability and/or the SEND system, as well as the wider parliamentary system.

The development and implementation of a UK-wide cross-government child poverty strategy means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.
We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. You will have knowledge of political processes and how external organisations can effect change. You will have a track record of producing high quality research and analysis, including policy briefings, on social policy issues. You will have experience of managing a small team and working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions with colleagues across the organisation, as well as externally.
The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, gathering and sharing analysis and expertise with the DWP as part of their review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of forthcoming changes to disability benefits.
