We are seeking an experienced and committed Finance Manager to support the work of the church by ensuring excellent financial stewardship, strong governance, and clear financial planning.

This is a key role, working closely with the staff team, clergy, churchwardens and PCC, and offering both strategic oversight and hands-on financial management.

Purpose of the Role

The Finance Manager is responsible for the effective financial management and in large part, delivery of the church, ensuring robust systems, accurate reporting, compliance with charity and diocesan requirements, and strong financial planning. The role supports the PCC in fulfilling its legal and fiduciary responsibilities and enables staff and clergy teams to focus on the strategic priorities of the church.

This is a broad role with a large scope requiring close attention to detail in a complex organisation. There is a requirement for oversight and management as well as day to day bookkeeping delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee all day-to-day financial operations of the church.
• Prepare accurate management accounts for the Head of Operations, Incumbent, Treasurer, and PCC.
• Monitor income and expenditure against budget, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow to ensure the parish can meet its financial commitments.
• Prepare year-end accounts and act as the main liaison with independent examiners or auditors.

Budgeting and Financial Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with staff team colleagues, clergy and PCC.
• Support medium- and long-term financial planning aligned with wider church strategy and organisational priorities.
• Provide clear financial analysis and advice to inform decision-making.

Governance, Compliance, and Risk

• Ensure compliance with Charity Commission requirements, diocesan financial regulations, and PCC policies.
• Support the PCC in meeting its fiduciary responsibilities.
• Maintain appropriate financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with risk management and internal controls, including fraud prevention.

Income, Funds, and Stewardship

• Oversee the management of restricted, designated, and unrestricted funds.
• Monitor and reconcile income streams, including:
  • Planned giving and donations
  • Service fees (weddings, funerals, etc.)
  • Grants and trusts
  • Commercial and events income
• Support stewardship campaigns and fundraising initiatives with financial insight and reporting.

Payroll and Staffing Costs

• Working closely with the Governance and Administration Officer & our payroll provider to oversee payroll processing, pensions, and staff-related financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with employment and HMRC requirements.
• Work with line managers on staffing budgets and forecasts.

Systems and Processes

• Maintain and develop effective financial systems and software.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and audit trails.
• Improve processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and resilience.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with the Head of Operations and PCC Treasurer, offering professional financial expertise and support.
• Occasional requirement to attend relevant subcommittee meetings, presenting financial reports clearly and accessibly.
• Where appropriate, support staff and volunteers with budget management and financial understanding.
• Communicate financial information sensitively and clearly to non-financial audiences.

Working in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust and MhIST (Mental Health Support Team), the Bolton Listening Lounge is a collaborative approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support from late afternoon into the evening.  It provides a safe space for people who are experiencing mental distress or who feel that they are going through a personal crisis. Our service staff will offer low level calming interventions and one to one support to identify the cause of the emotional distress and to put in place a plan including signposting and referring on to other organisations and services.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of Mental Health conditions and their impact on daily living and a strong track-record of working with individuals and their families to deliver positive outcomes. You will provide leadership to a small team of Support, Time and Recovery workers and demonstrate a commitment to a one team approach. You will have demonstrable experience of supporting staff or volunteers in their role and aptitude for managing professional relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

1. To provide leadership, guidance, supervision and appraisal to a small team of STR workers and to work with the Service Manager and HR on any absence, conduct or performance issues as they arise.

2. To be committed to providing an integrated one team approach to people who use our service and to work as part of a team to provide support to people using the Listening Lounge

3. To support STR workers to develop good practice in service delivery, recording and risk management skills and to implement Quality Assurance activities to monitor practice.

4. To manage risk and safeguarding effectively, offering support and advice to staff and monitoring high risk cases, ensuring that escalation processes are appropriately and consistently applied, and updating the Service Manager and external agencies as required.

5. To support workers in delivering targeted work with individuals to plan their support and achieve the goals and outcomes that are important to them, and to work with the wider Listening Lounge team to support the development and implementation of an action plan to support the individual.

6. To actively promote the use of outcome tools and analyse relevant data to support the Service Manager in delivering on KPI’s as required. To produce outcomes focused reports which evidence achievement and to adhere to timeframes at all the times.

7. To be responsible for the Health and Safety of STR workers on a day-to-day basis, including ensuring local policies and procedures are adhered to.

8. To develop and maintain networks with other organisations and agencies in order to strengthen safe working practices for service users, in line with organisational and local policies and processes

9. To maintain accurate case records and up-to-date case files using the agreed case management and recording system (currently INFORM). To ensure information handling is compliant with GDPR law and FA policies and procedures.

10. To attend and when required to chair team meetings.

11.  To make a commitment to regular supervision, including the ability to be responsive to critical challenge, advice, feedback and direction.

12. To have an understanding and to comply with, Family Action’s procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

13. To deputise for the Service Manager as and when required.

About the Role

This is a rewarding senior leadership role at an exciting time for LinkAble.
As Head of Services, you will join the Senior Leadership Team with the Chief Executive and Head of Finance. You will provide both strategic direction and hands‑on operational leadership, role‑modelling best practice and coaching staff across all children’s, young people’s and adult services. You will ensure services are safe, high‑quality, financially sustainable and continuously improving.

About the role: 

Porchlight’s Housing Management Team provide a property management service for supported accommodation across Kent, housing people at risk of homelessness. This role will lead the delivery of Radnorshire Wildlife Trust’s new three-year Pentwyn Food, Farming & Nature Project, Cylch Bwyd, an initiative designed to strengthen the local food system while enhancing biodiversity and community resilience across Radnorshire.

The project focuses on two interconnected priorities:

1. Increasing education on food growing, with a strong emphasis on environmental impact, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

2. Supporting, connecting and promoting the local food economy.

Working from Pentwyn, the Project Manager will oversee the creation of a community growing space, enhancement of habitat demonstrating nature-friendly food production, and delivery of an ambitious programme of school visits, workshops, and outreach activities. The role will build strong relationships between farmers, growers, schools, local food businesses and community members, helping to bridge divides and create long-term collaboration.

This position requires a confident leader with experience in community engagement, and partnership working - particularly within a farming context in Wales. The successful candidate will combine strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, ensuring measurable ecological gains alongside meaningful educational and social impact. As part of the role, the Project Manager will also take on responsibility for managing other RWT community projects, and be expected to contribute to the long term ambition of the site, and that will include contributing to fundraising and generating ideas for future projects.

The Domestic Abuse Service Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of the Domestic Abuse Emergency, Safe & Supported Accommodation, to providing safe, trauma-informed, survivor-led accommodation and support to victims of domestic abuse including children.

The Domestic Abuse Service Manager will lead a team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support, safe housing management, and compliance with contractual, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements. The role will work closely with external partners to ensure victims are supported to remain safe, recover, and move towards longer-term housing stability.

LGBTQ+ Adult Project Worker 

Responsible to: Communications and Engagement Manager 

Hours: Part time 6 hours 

Salary: £13.45 per hour 

Based: Fenny Stratford + outreach across Milton Keynes (for which travel expenses are paid)

Context 

Q:alliance provides support, information and representation for LGBTQ+ people who live, work and socialise in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces and accessible resources to ensure that the LGBTQ+ community is visible, represented and supported. 

Scope 

The Adult Project Worker will facilitate up to three weekly provisions for LGBTQ+ adults, working collaboratively within the team to develop activities that reduce isolation, create opportunities for belonging, and strengthen participation within the LGBTQ+ community in Milton Keynes. 

Sessions may take place at our centre in Fenny Stratford or at community locations across Milton Keynes, including Central Milton Keynes. Due to the nature of community-based group provision, most sessions take place during evenings, with some weekend working required to support community events and activities. 

Main Responsibilities  

• Support, information and empowerment – Develop and deliver resources, activities and events within group programmes. Create welcoming, safe and enjoyable environments where community members feel respected and included. Provide light-touch support and appropriate signposting to relevant services, and liaise with stakeholder organisations that support our community. 

• Co-production – Encourage meaningful involvement from beneficiaries in shaping activities and services. Support individuals to take on participatory roles within the organisation, such as co-chairing sessions or contributing to programme development. Seek innovative ways to embed community voice within service delivery. 

• Inclusivity – Ensure that services remain welcoming and accessible to a diverse range of LGBTQ+ people. Support activities that reflect varied perspectives, experiences and identities within the community. 

• Data capture and intelligence - Support Q;alliance’s commitment to sustaining a contemporary data and monitoring mechanism, guaranteeing we can deliver thorough evaluations of our services and competent feedback to our funders and stakeholders on the efficacy of our work.

To lead the operational delivery of Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising activity across BeyondAutism, ensuring disciplined prioritisation, effective resource management and alignment with strategic objectives.

The post-holder acts as the operational coordinator for the department, translating strategic priorities set by the Head of Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising into deliverable programmes of activity. The role ensures that engagement, fundraising and digital initiatives are sequenced effectively and that internal teams receive coordinated support.

Working across multiple organisational services and sites, the Engagement Operations Manager maintains oversight of campaign planning, storytelling pipelines and departmental workflow.

About The Role

Operational coordination

• Act as the first point of contact for Development and Engagement requests across the organisation.
• Manage departmental workflow and prioritisation across engagement, digital and fundraising teams.
• Maintain and oversee the departmental engagement and campaign calendar.
• Sequence communications, engagement and fundraising campaigns to ensure capacity is used effectively.
