North London Rape Crisis at Solace supports women and girls, transwomen, and non-binary people aged 11+ who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives.
About the Role
This is an exciting time to join Solace and North London Rape Crisis. The Helpline Team Manager will provide effective leadership and management of NLRC Helpline service. They will work to ensure that callers into the Helpline receive a high quality, psychologically informed service. The Helpline Team Manager will oversee a team of skilled volunteers and ensure the helpline is a fully staffed, efficient, and supportive service.
They will provide direct line management to an administrator and recruit, train and manage Helpline volunteers to ensure that services are facilitated efficiently and in line with trauma informed practice.
You will support the development of the Helpline service by working in partnership with local services and organisations to ensure survivors are aware of the helpline offer. You will be ensuring diversity and equity is at the centre of the service and service delivery, and that the service continues to be responsive to, and meet the needs of all survivors in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive way.
About You
Successful applicants will have knowledge of sexual violence and its impact on victim/survivors. You will have strong time management and organisational skills, excellent collaborative working skills and knowledge of the rights for survivors of sexual violence. You will also be empathetic and work from a psychologically-informed framework. It is essential that you have experience of using Office Excel and the ability to use an online case management system. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Our exciting Health IDVA role is leading the way in forging referral pathways between GPs and specialist support for survivors of domestic abuse. You will build on our existing strong relationships with all the GP practices in Greenwich, provide robust in-person and online training to GPs on how to spot the signs of abuse, and manage a caseload of women referred by GPs.
Aims of the Role
· To build and maintain effective relationships with general GP practice teams, and to recruit local general practices to participate in the DA Health programme
· To provide in-house training for GP teams on understanding, recognising and responding to domestic & Sexual abuse (DSA).
· To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around Domestic and Sexual Abuse to GP teams
· To encourage GP health professionals to ask patients about their experience of abuse and respond, record, safety check and refer
· To provide specialist, individual and needs-led DSA advocacy and support to female patients who are experience DSA who are referred from participating practices, and to provide onward referrals where appropriate, again initially via phone
· To provide signposting and onward referrals to male patients who are affected by DSA
· To provide feedback on case outcomes to referring clinicians
· To collect and collate performance and monitoring data for reporting purposes and with a view to further embedding and developing the Health IDVSA programme locally
Areas of Responsibility
1. Practice-based work
· Work closely with the Clinical Lead to promote the HEALTH IDSVA programme within the area and to encourage local general practices to sign up
· Negotiate dates for and arrange training sessions with practices that agree to participate
· Prepare training packs for practice training sessions
· Deliver, alongside the Clinical Lead, our bespoke DSA training to clinicians and non-clinical staff in participating general practices and prepare training materials where necessary
· Promote awareness of the experiences and needs of women affected by DSA, particularly in relation to their health, in partnership with the Clinical Lead
· Develop a good relationship with all general practice staff and work effectively as part of the practice team. This includes:
. provision of systematic and support to the primary care teams of participating general practices, including meeting with individuals and small groups of clinical and administrative staff
. Attending relevant meetings
· Maintain effective monitoring procedures and ensure that clear accurate records of practice-based work are kept and maintained, in line with Health IDSVA requirements
· Feedback on the use of the electronic medical record prompt linked to the Health IDSVA programme and provide patient feedback and case updates /outcomes
· Using the data collected, maintain an overview of local practices’ engagement with the Health IDSVA programme
· Act upon this overview to proactively ensure that the Health Idsva programme is well established and embedded, and that all local HEALTH IDSA -trained practices are engaging with the programme.
2. Advocacy and support service
· Provide support to women experiencing (or who have recently experienced) DSA referred by primary health care clinicians or MARAC
· Provide support to women experiencing (or who have experienced) DSA who self-refer from participating practices
· Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information and advocacy to women experiencing DSA through telephone contact, and/or meetings at the relevant practice
· Work with women experiencing DSA to increase their personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options in terms of housing, legal and welfare rights
· Develop good working relationships and liaise with outside agencies when needed.
· Keep accurate records of all referrals received and of work done with or on behalf of service users, in line with Health IDSVA requirements.
3. Reporting and Monitoring
· Attend and participate in the local Health IDSVA steering group meetings
· Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the Health IDSVA programme, by:
- Collecting and collating all practice-based and referral and advocacy data and monitoring, as requested
- Producing written reports as requested (e.g. quarterly reports, annual report), including for the local Health IDSVA steering group
· Participate in multi-agency working parties and focus groups, when requested to do so by the Director or your manager.
· Provide advice and training at a range of locations as requested for both professionals and the public
· Keep up to date on research, policy development and other literature relevant to the project. Attend relevant conferences and seminars on behalf of the project.
4. Other
· Attend team meetings, relevant meetings with trustees and to be part of Her Centre outreach marketing
· Attend training as identified with your manager
· Take on other tasks as appropriately as requested by managers or the Trustees

The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. About the role
As a Counselling Manager, you will lead the delivery and development of Women’s Trust’s counselling services, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support for women affected by domestic abuse. You will manage a team of counsellors and volunteers, providing supervision, guidance, and professional development to maintain clinical standards and best practice.
You will work closely with the Head of Services to align counselling provision with organisational strategy, monitoring outcomes and impact to evidence the value of our work. You will build and maintain strong external partnerships, contribute to service development and innovation, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, ethical, and professional frameworks.

Role Purpose
Our Mentoring and Supported Volunteering program (MSV) empowers people to improve their quality of life & reduce their vulnerabilities by using volunteer mentors and volunteer opportunities within their communities to build resilience, confidence & aspirations, gain practical experience, boosting CV’s through obtaining UK based references and moving towards employment.
Our approach is person centered and participants are matched with a volunteer mentor whose experience, expertise or interests compliment the needs & aspirations prioritised by the person and provide peer support & mentoring delivered flexibly in the community.
Regular intensive engagement sessions with volunteer mentors provide a unique third space between services/institutions/employer & friend/peer in which people can work towards positive changes & goals in a supportive, strengths-based setting.
MSV focusses on a strengths-based approach, combining peer support & mentoring enabling people to engage in a self-determined & positive way with community and employment opportunities.
We also offer tailored, and supported volunteer placements with our third sector charity partners, for a period of 3-6 months tailored directly to the individual’s needs. This is based on their job aspirations, current skillsets, motivations, and interests to create the “best fit” and get the most out of the experience. The mentor manager successful in this post will not directly place or support participants in these volunteering placements but will work closely with the MSV volunteer manager as there is often cross-over of participants and ‘in-house’ referrals between mentoring and supported volunteering, as these services are often complementary to each other.
Who does MSV support? - Participants eligible for All in Dundee support include, but are not limited to:
· Those who are long-term unemployed / inactive
· Those with mild to moderate physical and mental health conditions, including disabilities,
· Those requiring specialist / bespoke support to access the workplace (e.g. neurodiverse customers)
· Those with severe and enduring mental health conditions
· Families with children experiencing poverty including Best Start Bright Future’s Priority Families
· Women returners
· Young people with Additional Support Needs who are most at risk of not participating in education, training, or employment
· Those with a history of offending or drug / substance misuse
· Customers experiencing precarious work or in-work poverty and are at risk of leaving employment
· Other customers where applicants can evidence a demand and a gap in support for those customers
Key Duties Responsibilities
· To recruit, process, train and support volunteer mentors across Dundee.
· Develop strong relationships with our diverse pool of mentors to ensure they feel supported, valued and listened to
· Provide information to key workers about our mentoring offer, including FAQ sheets and promotional materials that can be shared
· Explore new avenues for mentor recruitment and develop and maintain relationships with referral partners
· Create engaging content and share with our Communications Team so it can be promoted across our social media channels
· To engage directly with our local beneficiaries, who have numerous barriers and challenges in their lives, and work to understand their wants, needs and aspirations in order to make the best mentor match
· To manage the risk assessment, quality assurance and audit processes as appropriate
· Ensure monitoring, impact and evaluation information and data is collected and that the project meets its agreed targets, reporting format and schedule.
