You will join the lively and passionate MarComms team, which is firmly integrated within our Fundraising Department, as the first point of contact for all website-related activity, advising teams and supporting campaign planning wherever website integration is required.

You will have experience in a similar role and hold in-depth knowledge and experience of current digital trends, tactics and strategy to be able to advise on digital approaches. The Data team has grown over the last couple of years due to significant charity growth. The Data Team sits within the newly formed Income Generation Operations team however the data team provides a service to the whole of the Marketing & Income Generation directorate as well as other parts of the organisation.

Responsibilities of our Lead Data & Analytics Manager:

As Lead Data & Analytics Manager, you will support the Head of Data & Analytics in providing the Marketing & Income Generation directorate with the data services required to attain its 10-year strategy by delivering an exceptional and reliable centralized support function across data operations and analytics. You will lead a high performing and specialised Data & Analytics team responsible for developing, maintaining and utilising supporter information systems that adhere to sector-wide best practice and legal requirements as well as ensuring analytics are at the heart of the fundraising decision making.

• Experience of building and leading a high performing and technical Data & Analytics team

Key responsibilities:

• Account manage and build strong relationships with corporate partners at a 5-figure+ level
• Create and deliver high quality account management and stewardship plans for your accounts
• Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally
• Take a proactive role in developing and nurturing a pipeline of new opportunities

Essential criteria:

• Experience of fundraising in a charity setting – ideally in corporate partnerships, although we’d also be open to transferable skills from trusts, major donors or community fundraising
• Successfully managing funder relationships at a 5-figure+ level

This role will suit a people person who can quickly develop relationships, lead a team, and work closely in a supportive role with Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers. You’ll have overall responsibility for the Carer’s hub, where carers can drop in for advice and support, manage a small caseload, and support the delivery of the service’s range of activities as required, including respite activities, online groups, face-to-face sessions.

We are looking for a great motivator with excellent communication and organisational skills. Applicants should have relevant team or project management experience in social care, health, education or the voluntary and community sector. You will have experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or children and operational knowledge of multi-agency working. A practical understanding of barriers faced by unpaid carers, and an awareness of cultural differences will be key in this role.

This is a full-time role and the postholder can either be based in the community in Lewisham or our New Ash Green office, with travel to the other area/ office 2 days a week. The postholder must have access to their own ULEZ compliant car.

Inter Mediate

Inter Mediate (IM) is a unique and discreet London-based peacemaking organisation established in 2011 to support behind-the-scenes peace negotiations in some of the world’s most challenging conflicts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the senior management team of a small high-impact organisation working at the leading edge of international peacemaking.

Reporting to the Deputy CEO and working closely with the CEO and the Financial Director, the Operations Manager will lead Inter Mediate’s institutional, Human Resources and project-support systems to keep the organisation running smoothly and ensure we are equipped to deliver the best results.

A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with senior management experience in operations, preferably for a non-profit organisation. You will be familiar with the fast and sometimes unpredictable pace of an international operating environment, and confident in handling challenges as they arise. You will be comfortable working collaboratively within a small team and engaging credibly with a wide range of people from senior government officials to project interlocutors in the field.

Key Responsibilities

A) Governance and Institutional Compliance (with the Deputy CEO and senior management)

• Lead the development and implementation of IM’s operational planning, in coordination with the CEO, Deputy CEO, Finance Director, staff, Trustees and supporters.
• Ensure that Inter Mediate complies with its charitable and legal obligations.
• Prepare, attend and minute Trustee and Committee meetings.
• Develop and implement quality improvement process for institutional policies and project delivery to keep Inter Mediate ethical, efficient and delivering value for money.
• Source, manage and review all professional services and suppliers engaged by Inter Mediate including banking, legal advice, accounting and auditing.

B) Human Resources and Office Operations

• Oversee Inter Mediate’s recruitment process and work with the Deputy CEO to ensure that we have fair procedures for benefits, training, probation, diversity and inclusion, gender pay gap, safeguarding, grievance and disciplinary matters.
• Oversee the contracting and on-boarding for new staff, consultants and trustees.
• Manage day-to-day HR functions and queries, including leave recording systems.
• Conduct staff remuneration and salary benchmarking exercises with the Deputy CEO.
• Update and maintain the employment handbook policies and procedures.
• Oversee office operations, equipment and facilities management.

C) IT, Security and Risk Management

• Ensure that the IT and communications systems are optimally configured for effectiveness and security, and that staff can operate them as necessary.
• Ensure Inter Mediate has robust risk mitigation systems and training for staff.
• Ensure Risk Assessments and security plans are completed by staff prior to staff travel.
• Ensure Inter Mediate has a viable business continuity plan.
• Maintain and review the Risk Register for the organisation with the Deputy CEO.

D) Financial Management (with the Finance Director)

• Work closely with the Finance Director to ensure that operational and financial planning processes and decisions are mutually informed and fully aligned.
• Strategise with the Finance Director and Deputy CEO to ensure all wings of the organisation work together to advance the best interest of the institution, its staff, projects and donors.

Experience, qualifications and skills:

• At least 8 years experience leading charity operations at a senior level spanning institutional compliance, Human Resources, IT, security and project support services, ideally in the non-profit sector.
• Track record of excellent business decisions for institutions under UK charity law operating in an international, multi-donor environment.
• Extensive experience of supporting Boards and Board committees at a senior level in a non-profit context.
• Some knowledge of project support mechanisms required for smooth delivery of peacebuilding, humanitarian, human rights or political projects in high-risk environments.

• Evidence of ability to both lead and service a complex network of external relationships.

• Graduate with a relevant degree and, preferably with relevant post graduate qualifications or relevant experience.

• Excellent business planning and decision skills, and a sound understanding of operational and financial management in charities.
• Proven commitment to designing effective and enabling systems for organisation management in support of effective delivery

Working at Inter Mediate

A normal working week consists of 35 hours (or pro rata for part-time). Our office operates between 8am and 6.30pm with core hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Inter Mediate operates a hybrid working model, with at least 2 set days per week in the office in London.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Policy Manager to join our team. This position is based in the Policy and Public Affairs (PPA) team and reports to the Director of PPA. As part of the External Affairs directorate, we aim to radically improve healthcare for women and girls by influencing positive change within UK Governments.

• Lead on the development of evidence-based policies on women’s health issues and strategic College priorities.

• Provide expert advice to the RCOG President, Officers, Chief Executive and senior managers  on political and policy matters.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policy makers healthcare professionals, women and the wider public.

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams. 

If you think you have the skills, qualities and drive to fulfil this role, but don’t meet all of the specifications, or perhaps you’ve gained your experience in (for example) commercial sales or within relationships management and are looking to move into development work, we would still welcome hearing from you. We are also open to making the role part time (80%) for the right candidate.

We have an opportunity available for a Business and Development Relationship Manager to join our Business Development team. As Business and Development Relationship Manager, your key focus will be to have a direct impact upon the growth and success of the business through the strategic contribution to service development and new business development.

This role will be home based with regular travel across the Midland and South of England region. You will be required to attend at Head Office (based in Warrington, Cheshire) for monthly team meetings, supervisions and as and when required. Salary £57,742 per annum. Contract of 39 hours per week. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing and growing the customer base across the region, establishing, and maintaining key strategic partnerships with commissioners, ICBs, housing providers and other stakeholders.
• Revenue targets and relevant KPIs are delivered across the region whilst ensuring service sustainability is maintained.
• Establishing demand needs within the local areas whilst supporting with new developments, with interests in LD & MH Services.
• The ability to develop high-level reports and briefings, managing complex data and information to provide concise recommendations and detailed action plans.

For this role you will need to be able to work independently and work with the wider business development team on competitive bids and tendering across the region. We are seeking someone who is willing to lend a helping hand and constantly looking for ways to improve process. You will need to have patience, an understanding nature and active listening skills. Qualifications

Candidates must have a relevant qualification in Business management, or be willing to work towards.  Extensive experience of successful sales/negotiation within a health and social care context is essential this for this role. Strong organisational and time management skills are required. You will need to be someone who is unafraid to take risks, try new approaches, and continuously seek improvement.
