Main purpose of the post: 

• To offer support, information and advice to parents and carers who have been referred to Acorns services, in North Tyneside and potentially into Northumberland
• To provide or facilitate advocacy for parents/carers seeking help from, or needing support with dealing with other agencies
• To support the Family Support Service Co-ordinator to develop enrichment and engagement activities for parents and carers 
• To support and develop volunteers to provide enrichment and engagement activities for parents and carers 
• Support parents/carers on a 1-1 basis to develop their confidence and emotional wellbeing and reduce their sense of isolation
• Manage own caseload by maintaining accurate and confidential  records of all cases, monitor outcomes and work in a proactive manner to support and further develop service provision
• Develop methods to elicit the views of parents/carers and prepare reports that will feed into the evaluation of the service 
• Produce reports highlighting positive areas of work, case studies, areas of concern and summary of outcomes, when required
• Plan and deliver training and awareness raising sessions to multi-agency teams and service users

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities: 

The overall responsibility of the Senior Advisor for Business Development and Donor Engagement is to develop, coordinate, and lead regional processes for business development and strategic programme development and support donor engagement and the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships in the region. The role also provides business development support to country programmes within the region upon request, and coordinates with relevant global functions to ensure regional efforts are in line with organisational strategies. 

Partnership Engagement 

• Contextualize global fundraising and engagement strategies for the region and develop regional donor engagement plans to foster and maintain constructive, long-term relationships with strategic regional donors and partners.

Strategic Programmatic Development 

• Collaborate with regional programme and support teams including the Commercial Contracts and Consortia team to align and adapt strategic programmatic priorities and regional capacity with regional donor strategies and funding opportunities. 
• Under the direction of the Head of Global Foundations and Institutional donors and in close coordination with Head of Programme Support and relevant technical colleagues lead or support country programmes in the development of new, strategic, or complex interventions for prepositioning outside of country programme capacity or resources to maintain or diversity country portfolios

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role we expect you to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with diverse regional donors, ensuring alignment between donor priorities and DRC programmes. It also requires proactive gathering and analysis of donor intel to identify funding opportunities and maintain and clear pipeline. Finally, close coordination with regional, country and HQ is key to success. Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

• A minimum of  3 years of experience at a senior level leading strategic new business development, strategic engagement, and fundraising efforts.
• Strong understanding of the humanitarian and development landscape and architecture globally and in the East Africa and Great Lakes region
• Demonstrated experience with effectively engaging, coordinating, and maintaining networks with donors, partners, and local actors.
• Demonstrated experience of building a pipeline of opportunities with a diverse number of donors – institutional, foundations and/ or private sector etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to identify, address and communicate the core of an issue even if very complex

Discover! Creative Careers, also known as the Creative Careers Programme, was kick-started with funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in 2018 and has been shaped and supported directly by creative businesses, institutions, trade bodies and individuals. The delivery of the programme is led by ScreenSkills in partnership with over 25 organisations and through collaboration with industry, education, and careers professionals.

Discover! The programme will run until the end of March 2026, and will involve working across partners and in collaboration with creative industries organisations across 12 sub-sectors across Wales.

Role Summary

This exciting Project Coordinator role is central to the delivery of Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru, a high-impact initiative designed to open creative sector pathways for young people, particularly those from underrepresented communities.

Working closely with Into Film Cymru’s team and delivery partners, the Project Coordinator will manage the day-to-day planning, logistics, communications, and coordination of Discover! events, workshops, and in-school activity across the nation with support and guidance from the Project Manager.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong bilingual (Welsh/English) communication, and a commitment to inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will ensure smooth delivery of activity during a busy delivery window and support accurate data collection and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru activities in partnership and with support from a wide range of partners. Events to include in-school and online events, creative careers talks, workshops, and live showcases.
• Act as the main point of contact for participating delivery partners and where needed, educators and Careers Leads during the project period.

The Role

The current CEO, Denise Stygal-Watson, has done a fantastic job since joining the charity over four years ago and will be handing over an organisation at an exciting time in its development. We have a strong senior management team in place, enjoy robust processes, solid reporting, accountability and financial rigour and, while there are inevitably challenges, there is everything to play for going forward.

Great work has already been done but the charity needs to continue to build its network, develop partnerships with local companies, as well as grow its donor income, including legacies, to build on its base of earned income from its retail revenue. Ambitious for our growth and commercially minded, our new CEO will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and to focus externally, to be the ambassador for Age UK Milton Keynes, to raise its profile and promote the opportunities available to the people and organisations who can benefit from partnering with us.

About You

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of leadership and management across a range of responsibilities at senior level – ideally gained in the corporate sector.

You will also have:

• Substantial experience of business planning development and delivery
• Financial acumen – experience of financial management and control, including budget oversight and cost control
• Knowledge, experience and understanding of strategic planning and service development planning; including facilitation, implementation and review/evaluation and organisational change
• Track record in driving and supporting fundraising growth, developing networks and working with funding partners
• Demonstration of influencing and developing relationship with key stakeholders and senior opinion leaders including local authority or similar
• Track record as a leader of people, creating positive affirming environments for successful teams and an inclusive organisation

About you

You’ll be a strategic, collaborative, creative facilitator who can spark innovative thinking across teams. You can convene the right people and support CIUK to develop bold, audience-focused digital ideas. You’ll be motivated by the opportunity to help us rapidly scale up our digital programme and a keen self-starter with lots of enthusiasm.

About the role

You will work cross-functionally to break down silos, develop an integrated digital strategy, and rapidly scale up our digital activity to meet our fundraising growth ambitions. You’ll set the bar for digital best practice and champion this across the organisation; sharing learning, helping outline a roadmap to becoming a digital-first organisation. You’ll support across teams with testing and innovating new products and propositions.

This role will require a digital strategist with experience across the mix – from mobilisation and campaigning to fundraising and supporter experience. A keen eye for analysis and an audience-led approach, enables you to look beyond any one function or objective to drive growth; be that income, impact or engagement. You’ll have ample experience and/or knowledge of a wide variety of digital platforms and tools including CMS systems, Google Analytics, PowerBi, Impact Stack/Engaging Networks, MailChimp, social media and Adwords.

This is a part-time role but we are open to flexible working arrangements and a discussion around hours.

Main purpose of the job

A fantastic opportunity has emerged to join Bond’s communications team, as its new Media Adviser.

This position will add capacity to Bond’s media function to help build Bond’s media presence, support the delivery of Bond’s strategy and support the sector in championing humanitarian assistance and development that works to help those who need it the most. This post has two main purposes. Firstly, to coordinate and engage with communications and media specialists across the sector to address shared issues and achieve shared objectives together. Secondly, to maximise opportunities to achieve regular media coverage to help deliver Bond’s strategic objectives and services in appropriate sector press, in support of Bond’s strategy, positioning and reputation.

This role will work collaboratively across the organisation and the NGO sector and will help deliver a planned, strategic, consistent, and integrated approach to our media work.

Main responsibilities

Press office (30%)

• Act as prime contact for enquiries from press or other media representatives
• Identify matters on which collective action/comment from Bond and/or the wider sector may or may not be required
• Ensure consistent messaging around Bond’s media work and campaigns or sector initiatives in which Bond is engaged
• Write and sell-in collective letters, statements, opinion pieces, features, and responses to print, online and broadcast media
• Updating Bond’s press lists while developing and maintaining good relationships with key journalists in relevant media
• Record and report media coverage of Bond and parliamentary stakeholders, using Bond’s media monitoring platform to track coverage
• Use Bond’s media monitoring platform to track government announcements and parliamentary stakeholder activity

Leading Bond’s media and PR work (20%)

• Ensure regular coverage of Bond’s work and services in appropriate sector media to support delivery of Bond’s organisational strategy
• Work closely with colleagues across Bond to develop and implement media and PR outputs for Bond products, services and marketing.
• Work closely with the corporate team to implement media and PR outputs for corporate partnerships and events.

News gathering and editorial (20%)

• Update the news section of Bond’s website to capture current stories and issue affecting the humanitarian and development sector.
• Source thought leadership blogs for distribution through various Bond channels and external media, including news stories, blogs, features and social media items
• Source opportunities to share Bond’s media coverage via Bond’s different channels including social media and in relevant Bond working groups

As a Policy Officer at TransActual you will:

• Engage with elected representatives and civil servants.
• Support with the research for, writing and distribution of TransActual’s Parliamentary briefings.

• Keep our policy database up to date.
• Support the Policy Lead in creating and coordinating a Trans Policy Network.
• Support the delivery of a programme of work to support activists to develop their develop skills and expertise in policy work.

APAP believes that nobody should face the devastation of street homelessness and everyone should have access to a safe, secure and affordable home that meets their needs.APAP’s mission is to tackle homelessness as it presents locally by addressing issues of poverty and marginalisation.  Through our services we: 

• Provide respite to those rough sleeping 

• Support individuals through and beyond housing crisis 

• Prevent people from experiencing the devastating effects of rough sleeping 

APAP provides direct, face to face support for people in housing crisis. We are the only service of our kind in the local area, offering immediate respite and casework support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

APAP day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts. 

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Senior Casework and Service Coordinator to assist the Support Services Manager, provide guidance and advice to colleagues, and manage incoming queries from service users. This role is ideally suited to an experienced caseworker looking to take the next step in their career.

Rainbow Migration has grown in recent years from a small charity generating £200k income in 2019 to £1M in 2024. Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 28 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £36,994 with potential annual step increases up to £41,315 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. Job purpose:
We’re looking for a Participation Officer to ensure that the voices of children and young people living with HIV are at the heart of Chiva’s work.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about youth empowerment, skilled in participation practice, and confident working with diverse groups of young people.

In this role, you will:

• Support and develop the Chiva Youth Committee (CYC) to shape our charity’s direction and decisions.
• Organise CYC events, campaigns, and support their delivery of the annual Chiva conference CYC led symposium.
• Seek opportunities for young people to influence policy, practice, and raise public awareness.
• Build strong relationships with health professionals, policy makers, and international youth networks.

We want someone with:

• Extensive experience of working directly with young people in a support role.
• A passion for youth engagement and leadership development. 
• Great facilitation, organisation, and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Salary: £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent. We are open to discussing flexible or part-time working.

About The Role

As a systems change charity that exists for the most marginalised women and girls, we are looking for a passionate, politically savvy, values-aligned person with outstanding project management skills to shape and help deliver our influencing goals and demonstrate our impact.

The aim of this newly created role is to help us influence policy, practice, perceptions and power, in order to improve systems and services for women and girls with unmet needs. This person’s ways of working will ensure the voices of women and girls, and our alliance members are at the core of our influencing work. They will ensure that the team works effectively together towards this shared goal.

Person Specification

• Commitment to social justice and to upholding the rights of women and girls. A good understanding of issues related to gender inequality and other social inequalities.
• Politically savvy, with an excellent understanding of the political environment, criminal justice and/or the women and girls’ sector and any implications for our work.
• Good understanding of partnership working and stakeholder management, with the ability to build effective collaborative relationships and work successfully with a wide range of partners.
• Galvanising a diverse team, with the ability to bring people together on a journey towards a shared goal.
• A track record of successfully bringing about social change, with the ability to use evidence, data, and lived experience to influence effectively.
• Experience of developing creative ways to convene partners and build momentum around a cause.
• Good, independent judgement, strategic vision and an ability to think creatively.
• Outstanding project and resource management skills, with a proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder projects from inception to delivery.
• Good understanding of charity leadership and governance and experience of working effectively with a chair and board or similar.
• Coaching and collaborative and inclusive leadership style in tune with the values of Agenda Alliance.
• Commitment to values of co-production and engagement.
• Confident and persuasive communicator and presenter in writing and orally with the ability to represent Agenda Alliance at a range of levels, including on public platforms and in the media.
• An effective networker.
• Understanding of core safeguarding issues and good practice working with women and girls with multiple disadvantage.

Desirable

• Experience of deputising/working closely with a CEO or being on a Senior Leadership team.
• A track record in generating funds from diverse sources and in working with funders.
• Understanding of how to amplify the voices of women and girls with lived experience of the issues Agenda Alliance addresses.
• Experience of working in small, agile organisation with limited resources but high ambition.
