ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Fundraiser, you will be responsible for delivering fundraising income and supporter engagement across community, corporate, and events fundraising. You'll identify new opportunities, nurture existing relationships, and provide outstanding stewardship to ensure supporters feel valued and connected to the impact of their fundraising.
You'll also provide line management and day-to-day leadership to designated team members, helping them to achieve their objectives and develop their fundraising careers.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is passionate about fundraising, enjoys building relationships, and has a proven track record of delivering results.
You will have:
Experience in fundraising, particularly across community, corporate, and/or events fundraising.
A strong track record of achieving and exceeding income targets.

We are a small team, looking for a part-time Fundraising Assistant to work alongside our existing Fundraising Officer, with a focus on engaging our donors and supporters and acting as first point of contact for many of our fundraisers, alongside maintaining accurate records and administration that keeps our fundraising running smoothly. Role Purpose
The Relationship Fundraiser will support the Philanthropy Manager to secure and increase income through the charity’s Philanthropy strategy.
The post holder will support with developing a robust pipeline of prospects and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing major donor relationships. The Gurkha Welfare Trust has supported Gurkha veterans and their families in Nepal for nearly 60 years. Gurkhas have served in the British Army for more than 200 years as soldiers of extraordinary courage, loyalty, and bravery. When their service ends, we make sure they are not forgotten. We deliver financial aid, medical support, clean water, education and housing through 21 Area Welfare Centres in Nepal and India, supported by a passionate UK fundraising team based in Salisbury.
The opportunity
This is a brilliant role for someone who thrives on variety. You will be at the heart of the Trust's community fundraising programme, supporting individuals and groups raising money on our behalf, managing our presence at events like Armed Forces Day and country shows, coordinating volunteers, and helping to grow a programme that is actively expanding its national reach.
It is a fixed-term maternity cover role of at least one year, with the option to extend. The team is experienced, ambitious and supportive and this is an exciting time to be joining, with a new strategy driving real growth.

We're looking for a Prospect Research Manager to join our Prospect Research Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our high-value fundraising by supporting our Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations and Corporate Partnerships teams. As part of the Prospect Research Team, you'll provide the research and insight that helps colleagues identify new opportunities, build meaningful relationships and make informed fundraising decisions.
You'll play an important role in identifying new funding opportunities and providing the insight that helps colleagues build successful relationships with donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners. Through high-quality research and analysis, you'll help fundraisers to understand who is most likely to support our work, enabling them to make informed decisions and deliver personalised stewardship.
Working closely with colleagues across the High Value teams, you'll ensure our fundraising activity is informed by evidence, delivered ethically and supported by accurate data. You'll also help us develop and grow a strong prospect pipeline that will support our fundraising ambitions for years to come.
