About the role
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled fundraiser who is ready to take ownership of income generation across a range of streams.
 
• Reporting to the Head of External Affairs, Communications & Fundraising, you will:
• Research, write and submit high-quality funding applications and tenders.
• Help build a sustainable pipeline of income streams.
• Develop and manage relationships with trusts, foundations, corporates and community fundraisers.
• Create compelling, costed cases for support with colleagues and clients.
• Deliver excellent supporter care, ensuring donors and funders have a great experience.
• Work with Communications colleagues to deliver engaging campaigns and events.
• Maintain accurate fundraising records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
 
About you
 
This is the only dedicated fundraising role at Transform, so you'll need to be proactive, confident and comfortable working across the full fundraising mix. You will also contribute to the development of our fundraising strategy, while taking the lead on delivering it day-to-day.
 
• Experience in corporate or community fundraising is essential and knowledge of issues such as safeguarding which affect homeless and vulnerable people, would be an advantage.
• Ideally you will have:
• A successful track record in fundraising, especially in trusts and foundations.
• Experience of writing persuasive funding applications and/or tenders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take initiative.

As a Relationship Fundraiser, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Relationship Manager to strengthen and grow meaningful connections with individual donors, helping to advance North Yorkshire Hospice Care’s mission across Saint Michael’s Hospice, Herriot Hospice and Just ‘B’. You’ll help identify potential supporters, understand what inspires them to give, and contribute to thoughtful, personalised engagement strategies that ensure every donor feels valued, appreciated and connected to the impact of their generosity. With a focus on in-memory giving, regular giving, legacy gifts and general donations, you’ll help maximise opportunities for supporter engagement and secure sustainable income for our care.

Your work will span a range of fundraising activity: supporting sensitive and impactful in-memory campaigns, helping to deliver strong regular giving appeals, aiding the smooth management of general donations, and acting as an ambassador for legacy giving across the organisation. You’ll use CRM systems to maintain accurate donor information, tailor communications and deepen relationships, while collaborating closely with colleagues in marketing, events and volunteer management to deliver a cohesive supporter experience. You’ll also help with evaluating and improving fundraising processes, gathering case studies, reporting on KPIs and ensuring that donor journeys and stewardship activities are consistently warm, personalised and meaningful.

To excel in this role, you’ll be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding supporter care. Organised and detail-focused, you’ll have experience managing fundraising or engagement campaigns, analysing data for insights and working confidently across multiple projects. With strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems, and a proactive, results-driven approach, you’ll bring professionalism, empathy and enthusiasm to every interaction. Knowledge of fundraising regulations, digital engagement and legacy marketing is important, as is a commitment to continuous learning, inclusion and representing our values with authenticity.

Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting conditions and terminal illnesses as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. As our service continues to grow, we're looking for a passionate and people-focused Community Fundraiser to join our friendly, driven and dynamic Income Generation & Marketing Team – and help us reach even more families.

Location: You will be based at the Hospice in Loughborough full time for the first six months, moving to a hybrid contract thereafter.
There is a requirement to travel around the East Midlands – mainly covering Derbyshire and Northwest Leicestershire (Coalville, Ashby) – for events, meetings and community engagement.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with occasional evening and weekend work to support events and fundraising activities.

About the role

As Community Fundraiser, you will be responsible for delivering relationship fundraising activity within the Derbyshire area. This includes building and managing relationships with:

· Community Groups

· Schools

· Local Authorities

· Community-based Businesses

· Individual Supporters

With a focus on generating income, you'll work to strengthen connections and inspire people to support Rainbows through donations, events, and volunteering.

Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

· Growing income by developing relationships with supporters in your area.

· Maximising donor engagement, retention and loyalty through meaningful relationship management.

· Coordinating and delivering community fundraising activities and supporting third-party fundraisers.

Community Fundraiser - London​

Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within London.​

This is an exciting role in our Fundraising team that will contribute to the delivery of the six-figure trust income stream budget (£585k for 2025/26) through rigorous pipeline management, maintain excellent donor relations through timely reporting and assist with trust engagement and fundraising activities. You will also manage the small trust pipeline – proactively seeking out new trust funding opportunities; submitting high quality applications on time; meeting reporting requirements; contributing to monthly management information and quarterly reforecasting.

Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Essex.

• ​Generate income across a range of community fundraising initiatives and events, with the opportunity to lead on key projects 
• Steward supporters to help drive the charity’s fundraising activities and growth
