The Senior Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing, securing and stewarding our partnerships, with a particular focus on the corporate and higher education spaces. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, the postholder will lead on relationship‑driven partnership development and account management, ensuring partners experience a professional, values‑aligned and impactful relationship with Brightside.

The postholder will steward these partnerships from initial engagement through to renewal, working closely with the Partnerships Lead to support renewals and identify opportunities for deeper partner engagement. The role will involve researching potential partnerships, securing meetings through outreach and networking, generating proposals, and delivering high‑quality ongoing stewardship to partners. In addition to corporate and higher education partners, the postholder will also steward relationships across government and the third sector.

• Prepared and organised all documentation for the Independent Examination, ensuring compliance with statutory and Charity Commission requirements. 

• Supporting the Director in responding to examiner enquiries and year-end processes. 

• Reviewing financial records, reconciled balances, and drafted sections of the Annual Report. 

• Coordinating with internal teams and external advisors and assisting with implementing examiner recommendations.

The Opportunity

The Role
We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join us as Head of Fundraising. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy across community, events and volunteering, trusts and grants, corporate and philanthropy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving excellence in supporter engagement and recognition. Chasing the Stigma exists to make sure everyone in the UK can find mental health support, whenever they need it. With lived experience at the heart of everything they do, their work spans awareness campaigns, training, policy influence and the UK's largest directory of community mental health services, the Hub of Hope.

About the role

As Fundraising Manager, you will support the development and lead on the delivery of a new and ambitious fundraising strategy across individual giving, community fundraising and corporate partnerships.

You will be trusted to spot opportunities, test ideas and build sustainable income streams that support life-changing and life-saving work.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you will combine strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will work closely with colleagues to build a clear case for support, bring the charity's impact to life through powerful storytelling and build meaningful relationships with supporters and partners across the UK.

There is real potential to build a fundraising team as income grows, if this matters to you.

Who we are looking for

You might already be a Fundraising Manager, or you could be ready to step up from a fundraising role. Either way, you'll be able to showcase:

• Track record of generating income through fundraising or business development
• Confidence with high-value corporate or individual fundraising, working at five-figures
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Proactive, ideas-led approach and enjoy taking ownership
• Genuine passion for shifting the dial on mental health

The role of Interim Head of Fundraising

This is an exciting interim (9-12 month) opportunity for a strategic and people focused leader to head up our Fundraising team and help drive meaningful change for people affected by digestive conditions.

This role is primarily focused on strengthening and scaling voluntary income and leading our fundraising team and activities.  The postholder will also shape the future fundraising operating model and support a smooth transition to a permanent fundraising lead.

​You’ll be responsible for leading our small and growing fundraising team delivering exceptional supporter care, ensuring high quality service and operational delivery.  With our Chief Executive, you'll develop and implement strategies to support fundraising growth, team performance, and supporter engagement and satisfaction.  You'll work collaboratively across the charity. 

This is a hands-on role suited to a highly experienced fundraising lead who enjoys working with a growing and developing charity.

Hours & Salary range

We are looking for someone to work full-time, or a minimum of 4 days (or 30 hrs) per week. We will consider self-employed candidates for the role but this is subject to appropriate experience. Please stipulate clearly in your covering letter if you are applying on this basis.

Salary range is £65 - £68k (+£2k London weighting) to be calculated pro-rata for anyone looking to work reduced hours. Salary offers will be based on experience. 

Location

We have offices in London and Huddersfield, both of which are easily accessible by public transport or road. We support hybrid working but attendance in the chosen office is required for a minimum of 1 day per week.
