About the opportunity

As a Junior Impact Analyst, you will work with our Greater Manchester Better Outcomes Partnership (GMBOP) and Kirklees Better Outcomes Partnership (KBOP) teams – partnerships that support people across Greater Manchester and Kirklees who are experiencing, or at risk of, housing insecurity and homelessness.

We bring together voluntary, community and public sector organisations to deliver joined-up, holistic and preventative support. Through our central hub and delivery partners, we ensure people can access the right support at the right time, without having to repeat their story.

Junior Impact Analyst Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include.

· Supporting on all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation as well as some programme administration.

· Completing data checks to ensure good quality quantitative and qualitative data is collected by frontline workers.

· Maintaining and updating Power BI dashboards with support from central teams. 

· Regular reporting with insights that support continuous improvement of the programme design and delivery.

· Gathering and analysing data to measure the impact of service innovations.

· Producing monthly board packs for programme performance management.

· Supporting Delivery Partner teams (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services) to ensure they are using the data systems accurately and effectively.

· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.

· Supporting with programme administration including task planning, scheduling meetings, preparing invoices, writing minutes of meetings.

· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

Team: Finance & Resources

The post holder will be responsible for the following: 

Finance 

• Maintain appropriate and comprehensive finance and accounting policies and procedures including payment authorisations, cash management etc. 

• Provide clear and accurate financial information, budgets and forecasts to the trustees, CEO fundraising team and other departments as required. 

• Manage strategic relationship with key partner organisations such as bookkeepers/auditors/payroll providers/banks etc. 

• Overall responsibility, with support from the external bookkeeper and internal staff, for: 

• Ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of finance data, including accurate classification of income. 

• Ensuring balance sheet and bank is reconciled and reviewed monthly. 

• Preparing and developing monthly Management Accounts. 

• Oversee preparation of the annual financial statements and manage the external audit. 

• Oversee payroll and pension process, engaging with external payroll support, including administering monthly payroll and fortnightly payroll during the Winter Night Shelter season. 

Legal and compliance 

• Overall responsibility for compliance with all legislation / codes. 

• Ensure Companies House, Charity Commission, HMRC and Pensions Regulator requirements 

 are met in a timely fashion. 

Risk management 

• Overall responsibility for risk management, including timely and accurate completion of relevant risk assessments, maintaining and developing the organisation's risk register, and procuring and maintaining appropriate insurance cover.

Office Management  

• Overall responsibility for information technology across the organisation, which is implemented day-to-day by the IT support providers.

Governance 

• Manage the Resources Committee and Finance Committee on behalf of the trustees.

• Organise the Annual General Meeting, including drafting papers and corresponding with members.

We are the only UK-wide charity andfree membership organisation for everyone affected by a genetic bleeding disorder. We aim to empower people affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the fullest; offering support, including events and local groups, the latest news and in-depth information resources, and campaigning and advocacy to demand the best possible care, safe and effective treatment, and equitable access for everyone affected by a bleeding disorder.

There are over 5,000 members of the Haemophilia Society, including people and families living with bleeding disorders, as well as healthcare professionals. The charity’s supporters help fundraise the costs that are vitally needed to be able to offer membership – and services such as events and printed publications – entirely free to all members.

About the role

The Finance Manager will ensure the smooth, accurate, and compliant day-to-day financial operations of THS. You will oversee transactional processing, payroll, local group accounting, management of our partner charity accounts, creating monthly management reports and year-end audit preparation.

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.

We are looking for a Housing and Destitution Caseworker to join our small, impactful team and provide or co-ordinate advice on welfare and housing issues to migrants. 

ABOUT US

Hackney Migrant Centre (HMC) is a community-based charity providing free legal advice, casework support and holistic support services to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants.

Approximately 50% of the people we support are homeless, and many are experiencing destitution due to precarious immigration status, the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) restriction or whilst living undocumented in the UK. HMC’s work is informed by our vision of a UK where no one is forced into destitution, exploitation, or vulnerability because of their immigration status.

HMC is currently a small team of 7 employees, including a CEO, Community Manager, Immigration Team Manager, Immigration Caseworker and Access to Justice Coordinator, and an Administrative Support Officer alongside a larger team of up to 60 volunteers.

ABOUT OUR SERVICES

We are based in our office in Stoke Newington, where we provide immigration advice & representation and our housing advice and casework support services. We also offer regular community sessions in a local venue on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. We call these sessions our ‘Wednesday Service’. The Wednesday Service has historically been the heart and soul of HMC, and it continues to play a key role in our service delivery, accessibility and community presence.

Our Wednesday Service is a multi-functioning hub, offering a warm, welcoming and accessible space for:

• Legal advice appointments with HMC advisors and external specialist partners

• Casework appointments with staff and specialist volunteers

• Holistic advocacy appointments delivered by our volunteers

Our team supports an average of 350 people across all our service areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Housing and Destitution Caseworker will provide or co-ordinate advice on welfare and housing issues to migrants. This will include people visiting the Wednesday Service or referred by the Immigration Team. The post holder will assist with follow-up casework, and recruit and develop a small volunteer Housing and Destitution Support Team to support with these tasks. The post-holder will work to build partnerships with external specialist advisers, to expand our diagnostic advice provision and support with successful referrals for onward legal challenges.

Main duties

• Provide casework and advocacy support to homeless and destitute migrants regarding housing, and welfare entitlements including asylum support, Children Act and Care Act duties, mainstream benefits and homeless duties.

• Develop and coordinate partnerships with external specialist housing advisors to deliver housing advice and take on cases where able.

• Recruit and induct volunteers to a small Housing and Destitution Support Team and supervise their work.

• Keep up to date with legislation and practical guidance required to support destitute migrants, including attending relevant training sessions.

• Provide training to HMC’s volunteers on housing and destitution issues.

• Make referrals to public law/community care and housing legal representatives for complex casework and legal challenges such as judicial review.

• Identify where visitors need to access mental health or specialist support and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with HMC’s safeguarding procedures.

• Maintain records on all casework, regularly review progress during the casework journey, and ensure that cases are closed when support has ended.

Partnerships

• Develop links and partnerships with other organisations to enable effective joint working.

• Collect information, statistics and case studies on destitute migrants and the issues they face for the purposes of improving service quality and to meet the requirements of funders.

• Contribute case studies and statistical data to relevant policy/strategic legal work carried out by HMC and other partner organisations.

• Attend forums of organisations working in the sector to share best practice and evidence from HMC’s frontline work.

About the role

The role of Programme and Recruitment Coordinator sits at the heart of delivering our flagship Associate Programme. You’ll accompany individuals through the journey from candidates to Associates, support their onboarding and matching to placements, hold the logistics for their regular afternoon training sessions and project manage key milestones in the Programme such as the residential.

This role will work with our London and international core team and current Associates. You will be managed by the Co-Lead of On Purpose London, Head of Programme & Organisational Development, and work closely with the Programme Delivery Manager and Co-Lead, Head of Business Development & Community on specific workstreams.

In this role, you will:

Ensure Associates have an excellent experience throughout their time at On Purpose

• Support the delivery of Associate training sessions, which requires being physically present every Friday afternoon in central London to coordinate the session logistics, acting as venue and trainer liaison.
• Lead on communications with Associates, including acting as the first point of contact on many areas of the Programme
• Lead on the logistics of a range of in-person and online events, including induction, residentials and end of year celebration events
• Support the Programme Delivery Manager in other aspects of Programme delivery, including maintaining a library of learning resources, weekly communication with Associates and other ad hoc tasks.

Manage the logistics of the recruitment selection process for the Associate Programme

• Manage queries from candidates during the recruitment process
• Project manage review of Associate programme applications using AI and human application scoring systems, and participate in application scoring alongside the wider team
• Coordinate interview slots and lead on communications with interviewees

ABOUT BRIGHTPIP

BrightPIP (Brighton Parent-Infant Psychological Therapy) is a specialist infant mental health charity supporting babies aged 0–2 and their families across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. We want every baby in our community to grow up feeling safe, healthy and loved. We provide early therapeutic intervention to strengthen relationships and prevent cycles of intergenerational trauma. We are a small, friendly and growing charity, supported by a dedicated clinical team and Trustee Board.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a trainee Infant and Early Years Practitioner (IEYP), on a course run in partnership with the Anna Freud Centre and University College London (UCL). The post-holder will be training on the Children and Young People’s (CYP) Infant Mental Health (0-5) course, whilst carrying out clinical work in our service to complement their studies and use their newly developed skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a training role that is part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded CYP Psychological Trainings Therapy Programme (CYP-PT Therapy PGDip).  This intensive training post will equip practitioners with a comprehensive skillset to provide interventions to families using the latest evidence-based approaches. This will include training in Video-feedback Intervention to Promote Positive Parenting (VIPP) and supporting families where the child is experiencing regulatory difficulties.

Alongside the theoretical teaching of the training programme, the post-holder will have the opportunity to work within the BrightPIP service, providing practical interventions to families across Brighton & Hove. They will be integrated into our team of Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists and will take referrals as part of our service offer.

The successful post-holder will work in the BrightPIP service for 2.5 days per week and attend university for 2-3 days per week, with some study days spread throughout the year. During university holidays the trainee will continue to work with families.

FURTHER INFORMATION

This government-funded initiative promotes the growth and skill of the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. NHSE covers salary and training costs for a one-year full-time position, allowing services to employ trainees to support specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support.

The role begins in January 2027 and the trainee will be both a fixed-term employee of BrightPIP and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma. 

Training will be a mixture of in person, online sessions and self-study. Applicants must be willing to travel to Anna Freud in Central London (Rodney St, N1 9JH) to attend their lectures as needed. This is a unique opportunity that allows you to apply your learning week-to-week into practical clinical interventions making a direct impact on the lives of children and their families.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an organised, analytical and collaborative Audit Project Coordinator to support the delivery of Epilepsy12, our national clinical audit focused on improving care for children and young people with epilepsy and their families.

Reporting to the Epilepsy12 Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of this important national audit. You will work closely with paediatric services across NHS Health Boards and Trusts, supporting high-quality data collection, responding to participant queries and helping services understand and use audit findings to drive quality improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a health or research environment who enjoys working with data, coordinating projects and building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also contribute to the development of audit systems, communications and publications, helping to ensure Epilepsy12 has maximum impact on clinical practice and outcomes for children and young people.

Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating the collection of high-quality audit data and supporting NHS services with data submission and participation
• Acting as a key point of contact for audit participants and stakeholders, responding to queries about methodology, data submission, findings and quality improvement
• Monitoring audit participation and data quality and supporting improvements to engagement and data submission processes
• Coordinating sub-projects and spotlight audits with audit networks and external stakeholders
• Supporting the development, testing and ongoing improvement of Epilepsy12 data processing and reporting systems, including liaison with software developers
• Preparing and maintaining audit guidance, website content, newsletters, lay reports and promotional materials
• Supporting quality assurance of audit analysis and ensuring information governance, confidentiality and data disclosure requirements are met
• Preparing and disseminating audit findings and publications for a range of audiences, including NHS services, commissioners, funders, children, young people and families
• Coordinating governance meetings, stakeholder events, conferences and webinars, including agendas, papers, logistics and action tracking

Essential skills and experience include:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a mathematical or numerate discipline
• Experience of producing high-quality reports and promotional information for a range of audiences
• Strong numeracy skills and confidence using Excel to review, format and quality-assure data
• Experience working in a health-related or research environment
• Demonstrable experience engaging and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of information governance, data protection and confidentiality processes
• Confidence handling sensitive enquiries and information
• Experience of project management and taking personal responsibility for delivering projects
• Excellent organisational skills and a precise, methodical approach to work
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Desirable:
• Project management qualification or certification
• Experience using data analysis, reporting or statistical software
• An understanding of clinical audit and how and why clinical conditions are audited locally and nationally

Job Title: Trainee or Qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) working predominantly in the Cherwell and West Oxfordshire area

Locality: Cherwell and West Oxfordshire

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Hours of work: 37 hrs per week

Notice: 2 calendar months 1 month during the Probationary period. Probationary 6 months

Accountable to: Service Manager of Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse, CEO ultimately the Board of Trustees

Context of post

Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse is a company and charity set up to:

• provide inclusive services that reduce the risk of domestic abuse and promote the safety, choices and welfare of those affected
• enhance awareness of the nature and prevalence of domestic violence and help to foster good practice and an integrated multi integrated approach.
• The postholder will work in the high-risk team and be managed by the Service Manager with support from the Senior IDVA.
• A structured training and induction programme is in place to ensure new staff members are knowledgeable, confident and comfortable with the role.
• After 6 months of experience, the applicant will attend the Safelives IDVA training.
• Workload will be adjusted and study time will be given for attendance at training.
• Salary will be uplifted on successful completion of the course.

The trustees collectively have expertise in domestic abuse, child protection, criminal justice, voluntary sector governance, local authority community safety, training and quality assurance. While primarily a local charity the trustees anticipate that, with a focus on quality, some of the work of the charity may contribute to broader good practice development. The charity participates in a number of multi agency partnerships responsible for aspects of the county’s integrated domestic abuse strategy.

Function

The first priority of the charity is to provide an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service for the county. The post holder will be a member of the IDVA team and provide a pro-active service to victims of domestic violence to keep them safe and promote their wellbeing. They will use their skills to assess the risk a client is in, deliver a service appropriate to the level of risk and have a particular focus on providing an intensive service to those at high risk. The post holder will have the skills to act as lead professional, working to ensure an integrated service and co-ordinating multi agency work to keep people safe, in addition to working with victims and signposting to other services.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Oxfordshire IDVA team to provide pro-active service and advice to victims at high risk of harm from domestic abuse to keep them and their children safe
• Risk assess and deliver service in keeping with the result
• Undertake safety planning with clients
• Develop individual service plans to meet the specific risks clients face
• Where relevant also support victims in their role as primary carers for their children
• Manage a caseload
• Maintain and update records of all cases
• Participate in champion networks and work closely with outreach workers and any other dedicated DA services as appropriate
• Participate in MARAC framework: refer clients to, attend and participate in meetings, follow-up on actions agreed in MARAC
• Keep other relevant services informed about important changes in client’s situation
• Support clients through the criminal justice system, explaining the procedures and their role and rights within that system
• Ensure that clients are immediately informed of any CJS developments and advised on any aspect affecting their safety
• Explain housing, civil and criminal legal options to clients
• Ensure that clients access the services to which they are entitled
• Refer on and arrange meetings with other agencies/services as necessary e.g. solicitors, benefit agencies, etc.
• Note and feedback to other agencies any consistent difficulties clients are having accessing their service
• Help clients develop their own support network
• Follow procedures and protocols so that the safety of the clients is kept central to any process
• Ensure Reducing the Risk fulfils its responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children
• Understand the legal framework relating to the protection of children, and the policy and procedures of Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children’s Board – including specific guidelines applied to the voluntary sector
• Participate in supervision and support systems for the service, and in training and professional development
• Bring casework issues and regular difficulties clients are having to the attention of the manager; contribute to efforts to improve Reducing the Risk practice and procedures and/or to work through multi agency partnerships to improve multi agency practice
• Any additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by the manager or trustees

The nature of this post will require flexibility to meet work needs as they arise. This may occassionally entail some work outside normal office hours. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to their duties. These may have to be varied after discussion, subject to the needs of the service and in keeping with the general profile of the post. There will also sometimes be a necessity to work effectively under pressure.

Appointment to the post will be subject to full enhanced DSB checks.
