Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity is a small charity with big ambitions. We support brain tumour patients and families across Yorkshire and fund pioneering research in our region.
Every partnership we build helps us reach more people affected by brain tumours, raise vital funds and increase awareness of the support available to families across Yorkshire.
We are now looking for an ambitious and relationship-focused Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and grow our relationships with businesses and organisations across Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into successful, long-term partnerships. You will lead on developing new corporate relationships while providing excellent stewardship to our existing supporters, helping businesses find engaging and mutually beneficial ways to support our work.
You will also contribute to the charity’s marketing and communications activity, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser and wider team to share compelling stories, promote campaigns and events, increase awareness of our services and strengthen YBTC’s profile across Yorkshire.

We are seeking an outstanding leader to manage and drive the performance of our award winning visitor attraction and wetland nature reserve in Slimbridge, Gloucestershire. Slimbridge is where wetland conservation began some 80 years ago with the founding of WWT – the wetland charity.
About The Role
This is a genuine opportunity to shape this amazing attraction, not just run it. Reporting into WWT’s central operations leadership, you will take full responsibility for the day to day operations leading a dedicated team of more than 60 staff and 250 volunteers to deliver our ambitious financial, visitor engagement and conservation objectives for the centre. In addition you will lead an exciting master-planning process working in collaboration with colleagues in the operations directorate, central leads and centre staff to deliver a plan that sets the site up for success over the next decade and unlocks significant funding.
WWT Slimbridge offers an amazing day out and a wonderful introduction to wetland wildlife and it is your responsibility to provide an unforgettable experience on each and every visit. Visitors can experience the spectacle of tens of thousands of wild birds, immerse themselves in wetlands teaming with life and get close to some of the world’s most amazing wetland birds and mammals. The site features adventure and water play areas, canoe safari, interactive exhibits and walk-through aviaries in addition to over 800 acres of wetland reserve with wildlife viewing hides, including a three-storey tower with magnificent views of the Severn Estuary.
The role has responsibility for all aspects of the site - working closely with the centre’s senior leadership team you will deliver excellence across the areas of trading and admissions, visitor experience and engagement, learning and marketing, living collections and the wetland reserve - a Ramsar wetland site, Special Protection Area (SPA) and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) on account of its internationally important wetlands. WWT's charity headquarters are also based at the Slimbridge site, and you will work closely with the team, jointly contributing to the delivery of WWT’s Wetlands are the way 2030 strategy.
About You
To be a success in this role you must be an experienced and professional manager and a great leader, comfortable with both operational delivery, visible on the floor leadership and the ability to input strategically at the highest level. You should be strong on financial and business numeracy, comfortable owning the P&L and able to deliver against ambitious and motivating targets while maintaining day-to-day performance.

Our Brand and Marketing team is looking for a creative, strategic, and proactive B2B Marketing Manager (12-month fixed-term contract – maternity cover) to help grow awareness of the Trust among key delivery, referral and employer partners, ultimately increasing engagement with young people and supporting positive education, employment and training outcomes.
Working as part of a team of managers, you will lead the development and delivery of targeted marketing strategies that strengthen our relationships with partners and position the Trust as a trusted and impactful organisation within the sector. Your work will focus on increasing awareness of our services through partner and employer networks, using a blend of digital and traditional channels to reach professionals and organisations that support young people into opportunities and sustainable outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with our in-house creative services team to commission and review high-quality, partner-facing content, and use data and insight to continuously improve performance. You will also play a key role in identifying new opportunities to grow and deepen partnerships, including employer engagement activity that helps create pathways to employment for young people, ensuring our approach aligns with and supports our EDI strategy.
This role is perfect for you if you are confident using a range of marketing skills, including digital channels and campaigns, to engage professional audiences and generate referrals. You will have a strong understanding of the B2B marketing communications mix, knowing how to select the right channels and messages to influence and motivate partner organisations, employers and stakeholders.

As Centre Fundraising Manager you will develop and implement a centre specific fundraising plan to raise income from the community through a variety of fundraising sources.
You will be responsible for effectively and autonomously managing the full portfolio of activity relating to the centre and to manage complex networks and relationships which have a wider national focus.
You will also be responsible for fundraising across a range of income streams including businesses, individuals, community groups, volunteers and media contacts.
There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as occasional overnight stays and UK travel.

The role:
We are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Executive to join our team and support our mission to end homelessness. This role involves developing and executing campaigns that engage and inspire action. The successful candidate will be passionate about content creation and possess the skills to enhance our brand visibility and fundraising efforts.
What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of our dynamic Fundraising and Marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Communications Manager and the Digital Marketing Manager to build the Social Bite brand. Your skills and enthusiasm will help drive footfall to our social enterprise coffee shops, raise awareness around homelessness, and amplify our fundraising initiatives. No two days are the same in this fast-paced role that covers the whole marketing mix.
Powerful storytelling: we need to create content that shines a spotlight on our key impact projects, like our Jobs First employment programme and our free food services. You’ll play an integral role in increasing awareness and engagement with our two new Social Bite Villages.
Maximise our digital presence: grow our online following through engaging social media content (especially videos), digital advertising, newsletters, and a website redevelopment project.
Large-scale campaigns: support the marketing and communications activities surrounding fundraising initiatives like our UK-wide Festival of Kindness Christmas campaign which aims to deliver 300,000 gifts, meals and essential items to people who are vulnerable and experiencing homelessness through the winter. This includes a large-scale online fundraising campaign across multiple channels. Offline, you’ll gather content at sites like our Trees of Kindness across Scotland, Birmingham and London, where supporters can bring gifts and make donations.
Champion our social enterprise: promote our coffee shops and commercial initiatives in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and London by working closely with our operational management colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas, craft point-of-sale, design promotional materials, and increase in-store brand impact.
Event management: plan and deliver events big and small, from producing assets for charity stalls at corporate fairs, to marketing our Impact Conferences and black-tie fundraising dinners.
