This is an exciting opportunity to establish RLSS UK’s first-ever corporate fundraising function. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will build, lead, and deliver a new programme that maximises income from corporate supporters and aligns partners with our mission to save lives. You will be responsible for developing the strategy, creating the tools and foundations, proactively generating new business, and delivering excellent stewardship as partnerships are secured.
This role requires a commercially aware, results-driven individual who understands how to position partnerships in a way that delivers mutual value and translate opportunity into income through focused action, strong relationship building, and a clear understanding of corporate priorities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a build from scratch environment, combining strategic thinking, creativity, and hands on delivery.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of RLSS UK’s new corporate fundraising function, create a sustainable strategy, and build a strong pipeline from the ground up.
You will identify, secure, and grow high-value partnerships that align with corporate priorities, producing compelling and commercially compelling propositions that demonstrate clear mutual benefit. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will ensure partnerships support RLSS UK’s mission and contribute to long term income growth.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Planning
- Develop and deliver RLSS UK’s first corporate partnerships strategy, setting clear priorities and income targets for year one and beyond.
- Lead the development of a corporate partnerships income stream, building a sustainable portfolio of partnerships and relationships.
- Create the foundations for growth including a case for support, stewardship framework, pitch decks and templates and KPI and reporting tools.
- Establish systems and internal processes required for a corporate fundraising function.
- Use sector insights, benchmarking, and data to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
Partnership Development
- Build and actively manage a new business pipeline from scratch, ensuring consistent prospecting and follow up.
- Conduct in-depth prospect research to identify target companies, align commercial priorities, and map key decision makers.
- Develop compelling, tailored proposals, pitches, and partnership packages that clearly articulate impact and mutual value.
- Secure a diverse portfolio of partnerships including multi-year strategic, six-figure, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship agreements.
- Create cultivation journeys for high-value prospects, maintaining momentum from first contact to close.
- Represent RLSS UK externally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities, confidently positioning the organisation with senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with commercial colleagues to ensure alignment and avoid overlap with existing commercial contracts.
Account Management
- Provide effective day-to-day relationship management to ensure partners feel supported, informed, and engaged with RLSS UK’s mission.
- Deliver clear partnership growth plans that maximise income, engagement, impact, and mutual benefit.
- Identify and activate opportunities to expand partnerships across corporate philanthropy, payroll giving, strategic volunteering, sponsorship, cause-related marketing, and employee engagement.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted and credible partner.
- Monitor partnership delivery against agreed KPIs and use insight to refine and strengthen activity over time.
- Produce high-quality written communications, proposals, and impact reports tailored to individual partners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, Education, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery.
Reporting and Evaluation
- Use data-driven insights and KPIs to evaluate and refine strategies for maximum impact, income growth, and return on investment.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, UK GDPR, and RLSS UK policies.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information within the CRM system.
- Deliver annual reviews for partnerships to demonstrate impact and ensure all partnerships are meeting agreed KPIS.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to diversify income streams and enhance brand visibility.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- All other duties reasonably associated with your role, as directed by the Line Manager.
- Line management responsibility for the Supporter Engagement Executive, including performance and development, assigning day-to-day tasks and projects, and providing guidance and support.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Relevant Experience, Skills and/or Aptitudes
- Experience in business development, fundraising, partnerships, or relevant commercial roles.

Role purpose
This role supports the development of WorldSkills UK’s income and partnership activity by turning programmes and ideas into clear, compelling funding opportunities. You will work across teams to develop proposals, manage partnerships, and support reporting and planning processes that contribute to long-term financial sustainability.
You will play a key role in strengthening how we plan, communicate and deliver partnership activity, helping to build strong relationships with funders and partners while improving internal systems and processes.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Partnership and project delivery
· Manage delivery of partnerships and events, ensuring they are well planned, on time and within budget

Purpose of role
As the Program Manager, Media and Communications, you will support the Program Director on the design, development and implementation of communication strategies and plans to advance Humane World for Animals UK’s strategic priorities with regard to campaigns, brand-building and fundraising. You will lead on producing and delivering a content strategy for a broad range of channels to increase audience engagement. The position will support campaigns and fundraising stewardship and give strategic advice regarding social media market insights and trends in the UK digital sphere and emerging channels. This will be vital to achieve successful brand building in the UK market through impactful storytelling, campaign activations, fundraising recruitment and stewardship through compelling content on the earned channels and holistic management of thematic work.

Maintain the visual asset library and manage a social media volunteer.
- Influencer and partnership engagement:Identify and recruit influencers and celebrities to extend our reach and support our campaigns
- Administration: Monitor and report on performance using tools like Google Analytics and social monitoring platforms to guide continual improvement.Coordinate activities with colleagues using planning platforms.
About you
Our successful candidate will be confident, creative and positive with a proven track in media and communications roles. A proactive self-starter, you will have demonstrable experience of achieving significant growth and development in regard to audience reach and will take a solution-focused approach to overcoming obstacles. You will have experience of delivering media and communication strategies and plans in a fast-paced environment. You will have ambition and drive for creating positive change for animal welfare; a willingness to constantly learn and develop the most impactful, cost-effective communications for our target audiences; and your work will be solidly underpinned by regular evaluation of progress and impact with a view to further improving strategies.

Job Description
Delivering the Philanthropy plan
- Work with the Director of Fundraising to grow the major donor portfolio within the wider strategy
- Build and maintain a portfolio of existing and new major donors who give or can give £20,000 or more, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey
- Line manage the Philanthropy Executive and support their professional development, providing direction, support and guidance
- Work with our Fundraising Research & Administration Intern to identify new potential Bookmark major donors, working with Trustees, senior stakeholders, and our wonderfully supportive Partnerships Board to secure introductions and make asks of prospective supporters
- Design and deliver creative events and activities to generate income, cultivate and steward donors
- Create compelling, relevant and tailored funding proposals, reports and collateral to inspire and inform donors, reflecting Bookmark’s strong brand.

Person Specification
Essential
- A successful track record in managing high-value relationships, including a proven track record of securing five-figure gifts

Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Research, Policy and Influencing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Cerebra’s mission to influence national and local policy and practice. You will lead on the translation of research into actionable policy recommendations, develop strategic partnerships, advocate for systemic change and influence, persuade and engage with policy makers to improve outcomes for children with neurological conditions and their families. Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Policy and Influencing
- Identify opportunities to influence national and local policy agendas, including legislation, guidance, and funding priorities related to childhood disability and neurological conditions.
- Develop accessible and compelling policy briefings, consultation responses, reports, speeches, and presentations for a range of stakeholders, including MPs, government officials, sector partners and the public.
- Monitor policy developments across the neuro-diverse landscape and lead on timely, evidence-led responses.
- Analyse data, trends and policy developments to produce insights and recommendations.
- Translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive communications that support positive change.
- Ensure our policy positions reflect the real experiences and insights of the neuro-diverse children and families we support.
- Develop and deliver Cerebra’s policy and influencing strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and research priorities.
- Develop and deliver influencing campaigns in partnership with Communications team.
- Work closely with the Communications Team by contributing to the drafting of responses to media enquiries on our policy and influencing work and act as the media contact if required.
- Liaise with the Legal Rights Team to assess the impact of current or proposed policies in terms of their actual or potential effects on children with neurological conditions at both national and local levels, and for their input into consultation responses.
2. Engagement and Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with decision-makers across government departments, policymakers, NHS bodies, local authorities, professional associations, and sector partners.

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager – New Business to help secure high-value partnerships that fund life-changing work for people affected by blood cancer.
Now is an incredibly exciting time to join us. Our corporate partnerships team are delivering unprecedented success, with over £10 million raised from the insurance sector in the last three years alone, along with securing another high-profile seven-figure partnership in the last year.
We are about to launch a major appeal with corporate partnerships vital to its £25million target and success, we are supported by a highly engaged board of senior leaders and CEOs from finance, insurance, tech and pharmaceuticals who are actively working with us to drive new business opportunities.
You’ll build a strong pipeline, shape compelling proposals, and engage senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility. Success in this role comes from staying focused through challenges, adapting your approach, and maintaining momentum; bringing insight, resilience, and determination to every interaction to create partnerships that deliver real impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Team: Fundraising and Supporter Engagement / Strategy and Engagement
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team. The Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (was Sustrans) is bucking the trend in terms of fundraising performance and we are looking for someone with the skills, experience and energy to continue to drive our Corporate Partnerships forwards.
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will help the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust build strong, meaningful partnerships with corporations. But you won’t be starting from scratch! We area already benefitting from partnerships with a few well-known brands and have others interested in collaborating. Your work will focus on researching new opportunities, planning how to grow partnerships, and developing approaches that support both short term and long-term income for the charity.
Not surprisingly, a key part of the role is building and maintaining relationships through great communication, regular updates, and exceptional stewardship. You will also be writing engaging and easy to understand partnership proposals that show how organisations can benefit from working with the Trust, while also helping to advance our purpose.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing a new business strategy that increases sponsorship income from corporate partners.
- Creating partnership offers that provide value to both sides. These should attract companies that share our values and can support our projects, products, and programmes.
- Securing new sponsorship and significantly growing income by developing clear and persuasive proposals. This includes shaping each proposal through regular engagement with corporate contacts and coordinating input from multiple teams to produce strong, evidence-based submissions.
- Providing excellent stewardship to all partners. This includes personalised communication, meaningful recognition and clear reporting. The goal is to build long term, positive relationships with both prospects and existing partners.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with delivery colleagues to develop engaging and persuasive communications, developing strong relationships with partners and the rewarding challenge of fundraising!

- Experience across multiple organisations of securing new income and partnerships from initial cold approaches to corporate prospects and partners.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of the UK corporate partnership landscape, including current trends and the priorities of corporate organisations.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Strong financial literacy, including the ability to understand and interpret charity accounts.
- The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
