Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.

The successful candidate willdeliver a high-quality service to young people aged 16–17 and their families across Hertfordshire, working alongside the Family Link Work and Mediation services to prevent family breakdown and reduce repeat homelessness. They will also support the wider team and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the service achieves its key performance indicators (KPIs).

What will you be doing? 

Lead the hyh Hub, overseeing its day-to-day operations and ensuring the effective delivery of services. The Hub acts as a gateway for young people aged 16–17 to access hyh’s prevention services. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and commissioners, while supporting the recruitment, training, and professional development of Advice & Information and Admin Workers. You will also monitor outcomes and produce reports for the leadership team and funders to demonstrate impact and inform future service development.

About the Development Operations & Stewardship Manager role:

This job sits within the Museum’s Development Team, supporting a team of fundraisers to build philanthropic relationships, corporate partnerships and run National Museums Scotland’s Membership programme. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Development and be a senior member of the Development team. The post holder will bring experience and knowledge of best practice across the full Development Operations function, including CRM and supporter insight, prospect research, and financial reconciliation and reporting. The Community Fundraising team is looking for a Direct Marketing Manager (maternity cover), who will support our work in developing, promoting, and analysing our portfolio of Community Fundraising products to attract new and diverse audiences to raise vital funds for nature.

The post holder will support the launch of our Do It Yourself (DIY) fundraising product, as well as supporting In Aid Of (IAO) fundraising activity across the UK. The role will support marketing requests across all new and existing Community Fundraising products and campaigns. The role requires a proficiency in data analytics and a track record in responding to trends and sector best practice.

You will have experience in direct marketing and be proficient in delivering multi-channel campaigns in a fast-paced environment. This role also requires an in depth knowledge of direct marketing techniques including testing, profiling, segmentation, return on investment analysis, cost per contact. You will have experience in managing multiple projects and budgets, as well as a track record in excellent stakeholder management. An understanding of Community Fundraising developments and best practice would be advantageous.

About Colchester Foodbank

Colchester Foodbank is one of the busiest in Essex, supporting thousands of people every year with emergency food and wraparound support. We work with 11 satellite centres and multiple partner agencies to help people move forward from crisis.

In your day-to-day role, you will be striving to build, expand and strengthen the project whilst working closely with the Employment Manager to ensure all key performance indicators and any project targets are met. The role is responsible for onboarding individuals into the project as well as delivering face-to-face mentoring, work experience in and outdoors and coaching.

Project Skills:

• Support with the daily operations of the project scope.
• Supporting individuals through CV production, profiling, interview techniques, attending interviews, workshops, job clubs and managing their health at work.
• Adhere to the strategies to grow and enhance the projects, meeting the ever-changing needs of those we support.
• Identify skills gaps for participants and offer Asdan short courses to support development.
• Building relationships with community partners including DWP, Social Care and prescribers, and other charities and government organisations to gain referrals for the project.
• Sourcing job opportunities for your participants through regular contact with key local employers.

Teamwork:

• Work in partnership with Hamelin’s service offer, especially the Links service and Opportunity Center.
• Ensure the project remains a motivated team that aligns with our values and goals.
• Report on the performance of the current project, providing feedback and support to ensure high standards of care and efficiency.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Follow Hamelin’s policies and procedures to maintain best practices and regulatory standards.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including gathering feedback from project participants and colleagues to keep improving our service delivery.
• Engage with and become involved with continuing self-development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with project participants, families, local and health authorities representatives, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent the Charity and service at meetings, events, and forums, advocating for the needs and rights of those we support.
•  Work closely with other teams and services within the charity to ensure a unified approach to care and support.

Business Development:

• Identify and exploit opportunities for expanding the service, from new partnerships and funding sources both inside and outside health and care to innovative care models.
• Prepare and present feedback and data when required, to the Employment Manager.
• Lead marketing and promotion of the service, boosting awareness. interest and attracting new project participants.

About You

It’s essential that:

• You have at least two years’ experience within a coordination/administration service for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• You have a proven track record of successful project administration.
• You hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
• Be ready to work flexibly, which could include weekends and bank holidays. You might also be asked to work in different services as needed.

How are staff supported to work remotely?

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

Prostate Cancer UK are launching the most ambitious fundraising appeal in our history, and we’re looking for a brilliant Appeal Manager to help make it happen. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the campaign, working closely with the Head of Appeal to keep everything on track and running smoothly. You’ll coordinate plans, manage timelines and milestones, and help make sure everyone involved knows what’s happening and when.

You’ll drive forward the creation of campaign materials too, from website content and videos to newsletters and donor content. Your role will be to make sure everything’s consistent, high-quality and feels part of one powerful, inspiring appeal. You’ll also keep campaign plans, documents and resources organised and easy for everyone to access.

Working closely with teams across the charity including fundraising, communications, finance and our programme teams acting as the central point of coordination. What we want from you

We’re looking for an Appeal Manager who makes things happen and keeps things moving. You’ll be highly organised, thrive on hitting targets and love the satisfaction of seeing a plan come together. You’re good at managing shifting priorities, recognising what’s most important, and making sure it gets done.

You’ll have experience of working on a major fundraising appeal, capital campaign or within a high-performing fundraising team and know what it takes to deliver brilliant donor experiences. You’ll be comfortable coordinating complex projects with lots of moving parts and stakeholders, keeping everything on track and everyone in the loop.

A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential. You’ll enjoy working across teams, building strong relationships and making sure nothing slips through the net. As Development Manager for Perth Theatre and Concert Hall you will take the lead role in developing and implementing our fundraising strategy and growing our charitable income across Trusts & Foundations, Individual Giving and Corporate Sponsorship.

A natural people person and confident communicator you will build relationships with key funding partners and donors to identify the most impactful fundraising opportunities and maximise returns.

You will collaborate with departments across the organisation to understand their fundraising needs crafting creative and compelling propositions that support our vision: ensuring everyone in our communities experiences the transformational power of the performing arts. 

Working closely with the Leadership Team, with responsibility for two Development Officers, you will: 

Fundraising Management and Development

• Review the fundraising strategy to achieve the agreed annual fundraising targets;
•  Act as a lead ambassador for fundraising across the organisation;
•  Engage key funding partners and donors to build long-term relationships;
• Identify/manage fundraising campaigns, creating impactful storytelling for supporter engagement;
• Lead high-value fundraising bids nurturing relationships to ensure the best outcomes. 

Individual Giving

• Develop and manage the individual giving schemes and major donor fundraising in support of cultural programmes;
• Implement a legacy giving scheme, working across departments to create support material and identify communication channels;
• Collaborate with the Director and Board to build a major donor pipeline;
• Grow the donor base and average gift size through communications, events, and stewardship;
• Liaise with the Development Officer, Marketing and Box Office, Director and Programming team, and Learning & Engagement to effectively promote and manage individual giving and supporters;
• Maximise Gift Aid income and promote tax-effective giving.

Trusts & Foundations

• Develop and manage PTCH’s Trusts & Foundations pipeline for cultural programming and Learning & Engagement projects;
•  Research/identify a wide range of income sources to increase the number of funders and grant size;
• Oversee the database, maintaining accurate records to plan and prioritise funding applications;
• Work with the Director, Programming,Head of Learning & Engagement and others to devise high-quality applications and cases for support;
• Oversee the preparation of timely, accurate funder reports in collaboration with relevant teams;
• Nurture relationships with Trusts & Foundations contacts. 

Corporate Sponsorship

• Review the sponsorship offering and create a pitch pack for prospective partners;
• Proactively seek company partnerships and increase sponsor numbers and fees;
• Collaborate across departments to identify projects with sponsorship potential.

Person Specification

• Experience in the charity sector, ideally in an arts or cultural environment;

• Outstanding communicator and persuasive storyteller;

Essential:

• Experience in developing and delivering a fundraising strategy for a similar-sized organisation;
