Job description

Coordinator, Paths for Everyone, Scotland

 (Ref: SUS2912)

£27,255 per annum

37.5 hours per week – contract until 30 June 2021

based in Edinburgh / home based (negotiable)

This exciting role will assist the Network Development Team by supporting strategic development of the National Cycle Network (NCN) and acting as the critical link between multiple teams to ensure Paths for Everyone objectives are met, coordinating all necessary reporting, stakeholder engagement and communication.  A key outcome will be to drive up stakeholder support and diversify funding opportunities for the delivery of the Paths for Everyone vision.

Experience of setting up and executing project reporting systems and of working with steering groups and/or advisory panels is essential for this role, as is project management and delivery, working with local authorities and budget management.  Your will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to manage your own workload.  You will have knowledge of best practice in active travel infrastructure, of planning systems and policy and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
