About You:
As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our fundraising strategy. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to raise unrestricted income by engaging schools and workplaces to participate in Christmas Jumper Day and raise much-needed funds for children for 6 months of the year. For the other 6 months of the year, you will lead marketing and fundraising projects across Public Income and Engagement to drive us towards Save the Children's goal of raising £60 million by 2030.

You will also lead on the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience, to drive ambitious brand awareness, supporter action, income and loyalty targets including email, display, paid social, direct mail, TV, radio and out of home, across a range of engagement opportunities and propositions (legacies, regular giving, emergencies and mass participation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to attract and engage supporters to drive participation and income generation for Christmas Jumper Day.
• Lead the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience and insight.
• Lead the team's relationship with the media buying agency to buy and optimize media.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with key partners such as marketing agencies, production companies, and fulfilment agencies, motivating and inspiring them to deliver their best for Save the Children.
• Inspire internal partners and colleagues to focus on raising money around the Christmas Jumper Day campaign.
• Manage team budgets and reporting.
• Support the Deputy Director of Public Income and Engagement to lead fundraising and marketing projects outside the Christmas Jumper Day campaign period.

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience in marketing, including developing complex and integrated multi-channel marketing plans, data analysis, and audience planning.
• Outstanding project management skills with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers complex projects on time and to budget.
• Extensive experience in effectively managing external partners, including working with media agencies, creative agencies, and fulfilment agencies.
• Experience in developing marketing assets to drive engagement and action.
• Experience in developing engaging supporter journeys across channels.
• Ability to provide technical leadership for the organization in delivering marketing across various media types.
• Experience in managing budgets.
• Strong numerical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze complex data for strategic decision-making.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK. However, for this role, you will be required to work from our Farringdon Office in London on average 1 day a week. Travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.

Look Ahead currently manages approx. 1,500 units on behalf of other landlords. The organisation typically enters into housing management agreements and other deliver vehicles [e.g. leases], as part of a wider contract to deliver care and support service to Local Authority and Health commissioners.

Housing management agreements and leases place responsibilities on both the landlord and management agent to provide services to tenants and licences and ensure compliance across all associated legislation (landlord & tenant, statutory landlord compliance and health and safety). To ensure compliance, agreements set distinct responsibilities for setting and collecting rent and service charges and the arrangement for maintaining properties to agreed standards.

The Agency Partnerships Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Look Ahead operates efficiently and achieves full compliance in relation to our housing management agreements, leases and office licences. The post holder will also act as the main point of liaison for the different landlords (both social landlords and private rented sector) and also act as the main interface between the Landlord Services and New Business Teams in ensuring that new services coming over with housing management obligations are properly established and integrated into the service.

The Agency Partnerships Manager will monitor the financial performance of housing management agreements and will take a lead role in negotiating appropriate allowances with Landlords and ensuring the full costs of delivery, including dilapidations and handback arrangements are understood and factored into business planning/financial modelling.

Furthermore, the Agency Partnerships Manager will have a key role in ensuring that operational service understand their responsibilities and will ensure a structured approach to quality monitoring and that Look Ahead/ Landlords are fulfilling their obligations.

The right candidate for this role will have the ability to travel.

About the role

We are inviting applications for the role of Surveyor and Property Manager. About You

As you would expect, the Surveyor and Property Manager postholder will need to hold a professional chartered surveyor qualification (RICS) and have experience of leading and managing a property portfolio across a commercial environment with a diverse range of buildings. Other essential requirements include.

• Robust knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to building management.
• Experience in negotiating property contracts, undertaking and preparing reports on valuation of property
• A confident and persuasive negotiator to manage difficult conversations with Clubs and Tenants
• Leadership ability to manage a small team at Atlas House (HQ)
• Able to attend the office in Leicester at least one day per week (Wednesdays preferred)
• Prepared to travel to properties as required (you can plan your own schedule!)

Director of Impact & Development – The Solicitors’ Charity

We’re looking for a Director of Impact & Development to develop and implement income generation and communication strategies and to develop strategy and practice around impact measurement and client feedback collection. The Solicitor’s Charity is the independent charity that, since 1858, has been supporting solicitors and their dependants in times of need or crisis.

Salary: c£66,000 - c£70,500(rising to c£67,250 - c£71,750 after successful completion of 6-month probationary period). The point on these salary ranges at which you will be paid is currently dependent on your location.

Flexible working arrangements are possible, including homeworking with occasional attendance in person at meetings, largely in central London (6-8 per year). Most staff work from home, though we also have an office in southwest London.

The Director of Impact and Development role

 We have recently agreed our strategy for 2024-2026. Two key objectives for this period are to grow and diversify our funding streams and to increase awareness of the charity.  We are also keen to understand better the impact that our activities have on our clients so that we can ensure that we are doing well the things they need to support them and so that we have stories to tell to help with fundraising and communications. Finally, we are keen to engage members of the profession in spreading the word about our work, including through a volunteer ambassadors’ scheme.

As holder of this senior role you will lead in these areas, developing and implementing effective strategies ad processes. You will work initially with our existing communications agency and with fundraising consultants but by the end of the year will need to have formed a view and put in place plans that either continue with these arrangements or bring more work in house.

Success in the role will be shown by significantly more income coming from sources other than our investments and donations of unclaimed client balances by law firms; by more people knowing about, supporting, and approaching the charity for help; and by us understanding better what works to help our clients and using this knowledge to promote development of the charity.

We’re looking for someone with at least 10 years’ experience in leading change in organisations (as an employee and/or a consultant) and evaluating organisational impact through metrics, feedback and benchmarking. At least 10 years’ experience in leading a marketing, communications and/or a fundraising function with proven experience in leading the development and implementation of marketing, fundraising and communications strategies and implementation plans in a similarly sized and geared organisation. You will also have a track record in developing organisational design, targets, operating models and business modelling in the charities and not-for-profit sector.

Other key demonstrable skills and experience include:

· Strong interpersonal and partnership skills, able to influence and work with a range of stakeholders at all levels, within and outside of the organisation.

· Ability to lead and motivate others and create strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels.

· Strategic thinker, able to see the big picture, recognise long-lasting, high impact decisions and implement clear operational delivery plans

· Strong analytical skills to be able to provide analysis of financial information (and other data) and oversight.

· Ability to present ideas, concepts, plans, and policies at Board level (and to a range of individuals, including senior external contacts) clearly and persuasively.

· Experience of working in a flatter organisational structure where levels of resource mean being willing and able to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels.

• Use analysis to identify trends from across the department and ensure optimal financial decision-making.

• Identify operational and financial risks and determine the method of mitigating the risk with relevant stakeholders.

About You:
To be successful, you'll need:

• Completed a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA). We are also open to part qualified candidates with the appropriate professional experience and the intention to finish remaining exams. Your role

As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Wakefield shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.

About you

You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. Role Context

ALIMA UK is in its start-up phase and is made up of a small team. This period is exciting at times unpredictable.  We need someone reliable who enjoys and has a proven track record of leading and delivering on operational projects for a business or charity while working with senior stakeholders. They should be a highly organised self-starter who is able to work autonomously and lead on projects as well as a great team player.

The role is varied and has a significant financial element, so strong numerical skills and good written communication skills are both important as well as a flexible, responsible approach. Ideally they will also have experience of, and good knowledge of, the charity sector in the UK.

This role is posted as a one year contract as the needs of the business are changing as the organisation develops. At the end of the year the needs of ALIMA will be reviewed and there may be scope to further shape the role, depending on the needs of the business and funding available at the time.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Finance professional to fulfil a key Finance Business Partner role supporting the Fundraising and Communications, Advocacy, and Activism (CAA) directorates at Mencap. This role will help deliver high quality insight and financial management which informs decision-making and helps to ensure maximum impact from our fundraising income. 

As the Finance Business Partner for Fundraising and CAA you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient utilisation of financial resources to maximise fundraising returns and ensure efficient spend which is aligned to strategic objectives. NB. This is a full time 12-month FTC position.

There is flexibility around where the role is based. We have large offices in London and Peterborough and smaller offices located throughout the UK and you may need occasional travel to for meetings. However, this role will primarily be working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare timely, accurate, and insightful management reporting for the directorates, facilitating informed decision-making and effective financial management.

· Support Finance Lead to provide a comprehensive Finance Business Partnering service to business areas.
