Job description

Overview of job:

We are seeking a Head of Operations and Service Development to work alongside our Senior Leadership team to lead the effective delivery of our trauma informed services to survivors of rape and abuse across Avon and Somerset.

You will provide strategic leadership and senior management for the operation of services provided by SARSAS primarily counselling, support work, learning disability work, group work, Helpline and online supports.  You will manage and support the volunteering function of the organisation and its development across all services alongside the Volunteer Manager

We are looking for someone who will be passionate about providing strategic oversight of SARSAS services to ensure that survivors can access responsive, effective, holistic and accessible services to meet their needs. This will include the development of responsive new services, considering creative and innovative approaches to reducing waiting times for survivors and engaging with underserved communities. 

SARSAS is going through an exciting time of growth and restructure, which means we're hiring and we're looking for passionate people that share our feminist ethos.
