We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives, by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement, and fulfilling fundraising operational duties such as ensuring that we have a database that is organised, up to date and fit for purpose.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop deliver and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.
2. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan's supporters.
3. Assist with setting up our CRM database, developing and maintaining it to ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
4. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
5. Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark.
6. Management of a part time Partnerships Manager with responsibility.

Essential Requirements: 

1. 3 years charity fundraising experience or evidence of very relatable experience.
2. Experience / understanding of fundraising campaigns.
3. Experience working on either eTapestry, Raisers Edge, Salesforce or Donorfy CRM systems.
4. Ability to connect and network with a wide range of people through a broad variety of communication methods.
5. A good level of general education including GCSE Maths and English plus A-levels or equivalent.

Purpose of the role (and primary function)
We are entering an exciting new phase of development at VAI, and our ambition is to maintain our current volunteering support offer as well as developing new services.

We are seeking a Volunteer Centre Support Officer to:

• Deliver high-quality volunteering brokerage (connect) services to residents and VCFSE organisations.

Development Director

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Development Director will be a key part of the Action4Youth Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic development of the whole organisation and taking responsibility for the leadership and management of all aspects of business development, sales, fundraising, marketing and communications.

The Development Director will ensure development to support the Strategic and Operational Plans in order to achieve growth, sustainability and stability and to support the Action4Youth core offer i.e.  programme delivery and outdoor education.

Because Action4Youth is a relatively small organisation, teams are small and this means that even senior members of the team like Directors may have to cover for a team member when on leave or generally help out as necessary to achieve targets. In this particular role, that could mean undertaking basic tasks like completing a funding bid to meet a deadline, updating a webpage, writing blog posts or handling sales calls. This job is unusual in genuinely being both strategic and hands on.

Networking is an important part of this role so the post holder will often be expected to attend out of hours events to represent Action4Youth and to develop valuable relationships and connections.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Given the rarity of the disease, patients can often go through their entire treatment and recovery without meeting another patient, so external support is vital.

Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service.  The Support & Information Officer will play a pivatol role in achieving this through building lasting relationships with both patients and families and healthcare professionals.

They will assist in all aspects of the Bone Cancer Research Trust's Support & Information Service, including the organisation and delivery of  virtual support groups, the administration of the Charity's financial grants, the distribution of information resources and the administration of our digital groups. They will also have the opportunity to lead on the delivery of our regional in-person ‘Get-Togethers’, which bring the primary bone cancer community together to gain peer to peer support.The successful candidate will also play an important role in the continuous development of the Service, ensuring that impact is measured and feedback is acted upon.

The British Asian Trust is one of the most exciting and innovative charities working in South Asia. They were founded in 2007 by His Majesty King Charles III and a group of British Asian business leaders to tackle widespread poverty, inequality and injustice in South Asia. An estimated 172 million children in India are considered ‘at-risk’ from various forms of harm and exploitation. Children are made vulnerable by a complex network of interconnecting factors such as high levels of poverty, gender inequality, unsafe migration, cultural norms and poor implementation of schemes and laws. The Child Opportunity Fund’s goal is to create more safe spaces to ensure that millions of children can live their lives to the fullest potential. To achieve this, they are aiming to raise $25m which will be matched by the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, totalling a $50m fund.

We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the appeal, working collaboratively with the team to reach their significant fundraising targets across HNWIs, trusts, institutional funders and corporate partners.

About the role

As Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal, you will:

• accelerate and coordinate fundraising for the Child Opportunity Appeal across a diversified range of high value income streams in the UK, India, Dubai and globally;
• drive and implement the fundraising strategy, ensuring KPIs are monitored and met;
• coordinate internal working groups as well as external senior volunteers to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to fundraising and new donor engagement;
• produce effective prospect research and robust donor pipelines to secure major donations at the 6 and 7-figure level from HNWIs, corporates, trusts, foundations and institutional funders;
• ensure all donors and partners receive first-class stewardship and relationship management, working closely with in-country, programmes and communications colleagues to produce compelling proposals, reports and updates;
• support the CEO to manage the partnership with the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation;
• develop and deliver strong engagement opportunities and leverage cultivation event and project visit opportunities;
• contribute to financial planning and reporting, and develop processes and systems for effective fundraising and stewardship.

About you

Ideal skills and experience:

• Demonstrable experience of operating in a senior philanthropic leadership role with a strategic mindset and high levels of ambition
• Exceptional project/programme management skills
• Experience of running a significant philanthropic appeal/campaign, or playing a senior role in the delivery of a large project in a complex organisation
• Experience of implementing a fundraising strategy and successfully meeting KPIs and targets
• Strong track record in securing high value gifts from warm and cold donors and partners, including demonstrable ability to independently manage the fundraising process from research/identification to closing the ask
• Exceptional communication and networking skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders of all levels (SMT, Trustees, senior volunteers, donors, partners and colleagues)
• Strong team leadership skills with a supportive and motivating approach to rally colleagues across the organisation to deliver on the Appeal
• Ability to be both strategic and operational
• Ambitious, a natural-analyser, trustworthy, calm and proactive

The Learning and Development Coordinator will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and events for the Agbero2100 London programme.

The Learning and Development Coordinator will develop robust learning and development systems and processes. The role holder will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries and be responsible for all related administration, ensuring a ‘get it right first-time' ethos is adopted. Responsibilities will also include supporting the learning and development partners in capturing Agbero2100 London Programmes learning pan-London through a series of programmes covering communities practice learning opportunities, community leadership and enterprise development.

The Learning and Development Coordinator will report to the Learning Practice Director and the Agbero2100 Programme Manager in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programmes and initiatives for the Agbero2100 Programme. The Learning and Development Coordinator will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop learning solutions, coordinate learning activities and measure learning outcomes.

Salary: £14,147.69 pro-rata including holiday pay, based on a working pattern of 25hrs/week and 39 weeks/year. £24,200 FTE  

Hours: 25hrs a week, working term time only (39 weeks/year) with a view to increase to 30 hours after the first year

Our charity, the Jon Egging Trust, is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people, to plan and deliver inspiring teamwork, leadership and employability programmes in East Anglia. The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, East Anglia.

The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites predominantly around Wisbech and Swaffham. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.
