Battersea is undertaking a transformational data strategy programme (known as Launchpad) aiming to transform how we collect, store and use information and data about our animals and supporters. As well as moving all of our data onto a new custom designed single system, we’re seeking to build the skills of our colleagues so that we’re ready to use our new system and make best use of the information we have to be a more data driven and insight led organisation.
This newly created role will work with key stakeholders across the charity to drive transformation and deliver the desired business outcomes and benefits relating to Launchpad, and be responsible for leading and executing the people and culture workstreams and other strategic change initiatives to support interconnected projects to achieve successful implementation and benefits realisation of this programme.
The role holder will be a great collaborator and influencer and will have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders to manage & deliver complex projects in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the IT Project Manager will lead the scoping, researching, sourcing, design develop and implementation of several new systems relating to CRM, Case Management, Finance and HR.
The IT project manager will also support the Director of Finance & Operations in managing the relationship with the IT Support contract, providing IT support where necessary and in renewing the IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) accreditation.

A PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or other industry standard Programme or Project Management qualification. A good knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, 365 admin level experience across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online etc. is essential for the role. Your experience will include supporting network devices and concepts, printers, softphones and other business hardware and software.

About the role
The Regional Communications Officer role is an exciting, varied position working with Emmaus communities located in the South East region of the UK to increase their profile and engage supporters.

As part of a wider team, you will also share ideas and draw on each other’s experiences to maximise PR, digital and communications opportunities.

This is a part time position working four days per week (30 hours), Monday to Friday.
Within this role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are based, maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important. The current patch for this role is Emmaus Brighton & Hove, Emmaus Greenwich and Emmaus Dover. Regular travel to these three communities will be required (usually one community visit per week). Travel to team meetings, usually held in Birmingham, and other locations will also be required on occasion.
Who are we looking for?
We require someone with a strong skillset and at least two years’ experience working in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.
Creativity and passion are a must. You will have a broad range of communications skills, love seeing your creative ideas come to life and keen to develop your skillset within a national homelessness charity.

The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. How you will make a difference

About the Role
MSI is in the process of rolling out a Global Data Warehouse (GDW) using the Microsoft Modern Data Warehouse (MDW) suite of applications, principally Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Power Apps and Power BI. The aim is to produce a single repository of global data, and to improve & modernise MSI’s reporting, ensuring it is fit for both Global Head Office and the Country Programmes’ strategies and operating models.
This is a 12-month fixed term role to act as a technical expert within the BI Reporting team on the GDW project. The successful candidate will report into the Project’s technical lead assisting with the design, development and delivery of requirements as prioritised by the Project Board.

- Experience in establishing and managing on-premises data connections, between on-premises databases and cloud-based environments.
- Knowledge of data gateway configurations to facilitate seamless communication between on-premises and cloud data sources.
- Experience of training system administrators to maintain solutions
- Experience of training end users to use solutions
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities.

About you and the role
The purpose of this role is to head up development of key partnerships and income streams that will ensure the charity remains financially sustainable and able to deliver our impact at scale. You will be responsible for the assessment of, and managing relationships with, all major new partners. Key responsibilities:
● Developing a comprehensive income generation and marketing strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities

The Role:
The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.
The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.
Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC's fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. This team coordinates closely with all WorldGBC departments, in particular where sponsors are involved with initial focus on the programme/project partners.

Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover)
- Salary: £37,565 per annum
- Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 months), looking for an immediate start
- Hours: Part Time, 4.5 days per week
- Location: Elephant & Castle, central London / Remote – team members must be willing to travel to London periodically and to attend ecosystem events around the country

Role Purpose
The Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover) role will be a critical piece of our Community Programmes team, which provides support to founders at every stage of their startup journey. The Community Programme offering includes a roster of events including panels, masterclasses and workshops, as well as mentoring and coaching opportunities, and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities. We work with an exciting range of partners across the private and third sectors to connect underrepresented founders to networks and capital that will help launch and grow their mission-driven businesses.
We are looking for a driven, process-oriented self-starter who is interested in a role that will expose them to a variety of activities across the Community portfolio. As the Community Engagement Manager, you’ll work directly with the Co-Head of Programmes to ensure the systems we need are in place to support the team to deliver their support offering and that we are constantly learning and evolving our programme offering from Founder feedback and engagement.
You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering programmes and events for the graduate community, as well as contribute to our community engagement strategy – helping us to set up new aspects of our programmes and collaborating with programme managers and coordinators across the portfolio to contribute to a more engaged community of entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities
Graduate Community Engagement
- Maintain the community engagement strategy for enhanced engagement between founders and a more cohesive founder journey across all stages
- Maintain the end-to-end design and management of the founder experience in the graduate community platform (Circle)
- Helping founders to widen their networks and facilitate connections that can provide critical support and direction via our graduate community platform
- Work collaboratively across the Programmes team to ensure entrepreneurs who engage with Hatch are connected to the best programmes, resources and offers for them
- Maintaining a list of partnership perks for the community
- Understanding both founder needs and partnership opportunities and coordinate the creation of relevant resources, content and perks to meet these
- Attend ecosystem events and speak on behalf of Hatch, and engage the wider team in doing the same
- Helping to ensure consistent relationship management and communication with partner organisations
Programme delivery and development
- Reviewing existing insights and conducting research to refine existing and new peer-to-peer programmes for Hatch founders and graduates
- Engaging mentors, experts and facilitators, where applicable, to support with the leadership of peer-to-peer programmes
- Planning, facilitating and evaluating networking opportunities for founders to build and foster community engagement
- Developing and managing support opportunities for our graduates to increase their access to capital, contracts, and connections
- Working collaboratively with Marketing and Communications team to drive engagement through founder and graduate communication channels
- Managing the content strategy and maintenance of the Resource Hub, to ensure accessibility of content for founders outside of a cohort programme
Systems and administration
- Maintaining the KPI tracking system to record programme founder participation, feedback and learning outcomes
- Feeding into the development of a new CRM system to help us better manage our founder and partner relationships
- Supporting the development and maintenance of our calendar of activities, showcasing engagement opportunities to our founders and the public
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements and innovations to systems and implementing system changes
Monitoring and evaluation
- Supporting the collection and collation of feedback from volunteers, mentors and founders in order to monitor and improve participant experience
- Working with the Fundraising team to report on Community Programme KPIs, anecdotal feedback, and to support with the generation of case studies, for funder reports and fundraising pitches
- Collecting and analysing relevant data for the resources webpage, graduate community platform, as well as keeping up to date with any relevant tech updates and training required for monitoring the data
Other
- Gaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of Hatch’s work, priorities and future plans and acting as a spokesperson for the charity when required
- Representing Hatch externally at speaking and networking opportunities
- Other duties that may be required from time to time as part of a small, dynamic team
Person Specification
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Comfortable collecting and generating insights from data for reports
- Experience of working in a fast paced, complex environment, working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and project managing cross-departmental work
- Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, and comfortable talking to a wide range of people
- Online community management experience would be desirable
- Creative problem solving skills: always looking for things to improve and suggesting ways of improving them
- Ability to work independently , as well as collaboratively with the wider team, and identify potentially more effective ways of working
- A passion to support and connect underrepresented founders to start and grow businesses that will have a positive impact in the world
- Strong interest in equitable and impactful entrepreneurship – experience as an entrepreneur yourself would be a bonus
- Strong understanding of the entrepreneurship ecosystem across the UK and the needs and challenges of entrepreneurs
