As the Campaigns and Business Development Manager you will play a key role with our Chief Executive to ensure we maximise our impact while increasing our income from our services.
About the National CLT Network
The National CLT Network is the national membership body for community land trusts established in 2010. We provide resources, training and advice for CLTs, and work with government, local authorities, lenders and funders to establish the best conditions for CLTs to grow and flourish.
We are a small, dedicated and ambitious team. In the decade since we were founded we have been highly successful in raising the profile of CLTs in government and industry, and now want to take the community ownership of land and affordable housing mainstream.
Our successes have had the following impact:

About the role
Working closely with our small, dynamic and ambitious team, this role will work at a senior level to ensure the National CLT Network delivers effective advocacy and communications campaigns, and to deliver a set of services for members and third parties that achieve impact and income. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and two officers, who you will line manage.
Areas of responsibility:

The development and implementation of advocacy and communications campaigns, led by the Chief Executive.

Managing communications and marketing channels including media relations, our website, social media and publications.

Leading the membership service including recruitment and renewal, a programme of events, and fee-paying services.

Development of other services that achieve our aims while also generating income for the charity, including fee-paying events, sponsorship opportunities and corporate partnerships.

Details
The role is for a fixed term 15-month post with the desired start date being 29th March or 5th April to cover our existing manager’s maternity leave, and ending on the 18th June.
The role is part time: 4 days/28 hours a week, the working pattern is negotiable.
The salary is £30,400 - £34,400 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience (£37,000 - £43,000 FTE)

Covering Wales and the Midlands, the Area Fundraising Manager will be directly responsible for the strategic direction, planning and day-to-day management of all community fundraising for your geographical area.

Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for developing and overseeing RFUK’s fundraising strategy and developing our partnerships with institutional donors, trusts and foundations, ethical corporates, and individual givers.

Knowledge and experience
Essential:
- At least 4 years of managerial experience in charity fundraising, preferably in an international development context
- Demonstrable achievements in securing large grants and increasing individual giving and other revenue streams

SUMMARY, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The post is offered on a 2-year fixed term contract with possibility of extension. The role will be subject to a 6-month probationary period.
The post is a full-time position, based on a 35-hour working week in our North London office. Flexible working arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates and in line with our staff handbook.
The starting salary is £32,651 - £38,063 gross per annum, depending on experience.
Monthly salary is paid by Bank Automated Credit transfer, on the 25th of every month.

Our client is the leading conservation membership charity in Cornwall. They work with one and all to create a wilder Cornwall with people close to nature, and with land, rivers and seas rich in wildlife.
This is an exciting time to join our client’s People and Engagement Team (which includes marketing and fundraising). The team is developing and testing new fundraising methods for the charity, and recently reviewed its priorities and structure to enable growth. The successful candidate will join a driven, supportive and friendly team and be integral to its future.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking a Community Fundraising and Events Manager on a permanent, full time basis. The main purpose of this role is to lead the community fundraising and events, creating and delivering opportunities for people to connect with and support their work to protect wildlife, enable nature’s recovery and deliver natural solutions to issues such as climate change.
Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and delivering a flagship event and / or campaign that engages people with our client’s work and generates funds

About You

We are a growing, award winning, national charity improving the lives of people with spinal injuries by creating and nurturing outstanding garden projects in NHS spinal injury centres.
The Director of Fundraising & Communications was a new role created in March 2020 and you will be responsible for delivering on the fundraising strategy that has been put in place, and amending it where required, to increase fundraising income to support the organisation’s growth plans.
The fundraising strategy covers a diverse range of income streams (corporate, 3rd party, events, legacy, trusts, individuals & regional) therefore experience across a broad range of fundraising channels is preferable. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the fundraising and communications team, which consists of four full time and two part time members of staff, all based in head office near Salisbury. Therefore, there is an expectation that you will spend 4 days per month in the office as a minimum (subject to covid restrictions)
For this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will need to have significant fundraising experience gained in a charitable environment, ideally as a Director or Head of Fundraising, whilst also having strong previous experience in leading fundraising campaigns and attracting and developing major corporate partnerships and building relationships with key donors including individuals and trusts. You will have demonstrable experience and knowledge of the latest donor development techniques and experience of working on major fundraising initiatives, as well as proven experience of delivering fundraising targets.

This role will work from home temporarily in line with other YMT staff. In the long term this role will be based in York, but with the option to work flexibly. Attendance at fundraising events and stakeholder meetings in York will be part of the role.
