- Lead all digital communications, including website, social media and online campaigns
- Manage and create content for the website, overseeing written, visual and video
- Develop and deliver a planned schedule of communications activity across all channels.
- Develop and maintain a compelling library of supporter stories (written, film and imagery), ensuring appropriate permissions and coverage across key research areas
- Work with colleagues to source, craft and share stories that demonstrate impact and inspire support
- Collaborate with colleagues to translate funded research into clear, engaging stories that show how science changes lives
- Work closely with the fundraising team to optimise digital communications

The Operations and Volunteer Coordinator is a flexible, part time role and if you are highly organised, enjoy working as part of a small team and making a difference in the local community then this role may be for you. We have three services that we deliver in and around the Winchester area, and this role underpins them all to support and coordinate the charity’s activity.
Friends of the Family Services
- Mum and Young Children's Group which offers group counselling and peer support to mums, whilst their babies and preschoolers are looked after by a team of volunteers.
- 5s to 13s Befriending in which a child aged between 5 and 13 years old is matched with a volunteer who meets them weekly for a year. Time away from chaotic homelives with a positive role model, boosts wellbeing and confidence. Our team provides tailored support to the family.
- Support for dads - counselling and peer support for dads.
What you'll be doing
In this role you will be the first point of contact with all of our wonderful volunteers, who are critical to the success of our work. You will work closely to support the 5s to 13s Befriending Manager and other service leads to ensure smooth delivery of event and training activities. You will also support the wider charitable activity with your strong administrative and operational skills, including organising events, managing our database and general office management. We are continuing to evolve our services within the community, and for the right candidate there is also potential for increased hours in the future.

Role Information
This role reports to the Operations Director, and is part time for 16 hours per week. We offer 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus 3 days over Christmas. We’re looking for a Community Fundraising Manager to join our ambitious Public Fundraising team, this is an new role within our Individual Giving Team.
You’ll have experience inspiring fundraising groups, delivering mass in-aid of fundraising products, and motivating volunteers and individuals to fundraise on our behalf. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about inspiring donors, fundraising groups, and volunteers. You’ll play a key role in developing this new income stream with internal partners, organisation wide.
You’ll manage all areas of Community Fundraising, including supporter groups, in-aid of fundraising, and in-memory giving. You’ll identify levers to inspire donors, raise more money for critical conservation work, and create exceptional donor experiences. Who we're looking for

As Welfare Rights Adviser, you will support our Professional Services/Welfare Rights Manager in delivering advice to members of myaware via telephone, email, Teams and Zoom channels. You will provide detailed benefit checks and advice and support with disability benefit applications, supersessions, reviews and mandatory reconsiderations/appeals. You will also advise on employment law, including the Equality Act and right to reasonable adjustments at work, driving and transport, heath and social care, housing rights, grants and utility discounts. Who are we?
Myaware is the only myasthenia charity in the UK.The myasthenias are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. Myasthenia Gravis, Ocular Myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS) are autoimmune conditions whereas Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) is an inherited genetic condition.It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.
We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families and offer advice and tips for living with the condition. Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including our welfare rights service.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors. We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals.

- Write clear, compelling organisational messaging and FAQs to support fundraising, especially during major disasters, appeals, and campaigns
- Draft key reports, including monthly response summaries, reach and impact reports, updates for our Royal patron, and the annual report
- Research and collaborate with colleagues to develop messaging
- Help develop and deliver communications campaigns
- Keep organisational statistics and messaging up to date
- Support with coordinating communications across channels to maximise storytelling
- Contribute creative ideas and support planning for communications activities
- Evaluate communications performance
- Identify messaging gaps and potential stories
Other duties
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post
- Follow ShelterBox policies and procedures on Health & Safety and take responsibility for personal safety.
- Work flexibly, including out of hours when needed
We are looking for a Legacy and In Mem Fundraiser to deliver legacy marketing campaigns and manage the organisations in memory programme.
This is a hybrid role with options for other arrangements open for discussion.

The Role
Lots of the groundwork and planning has been put in place for this exciting role, the team is looking for someone with excellent planning skills to deliver a growing calendar of communications, managing timelines and campigns effectively.
Legacy Fundraising & Campaigns
Develop and deliver legacy marketing campaigns to build awareness, enquiries, and pledges.
Plan and manage multi-channel activity across digital, print, events, and supporter communications.
Supporter Stewardship
Ensure excellent stewardship for legacy and in memory supporters, recognising the emotional nature
of this giving.
Legacy Administration Oversight
This is outsourced to Legacy Links.
The Candidate
Previous experience in a legacies or direct marketing role for one - two years
Experience of working with CRM databases including Raisers Edge
Experience of managing fundraising campaigns, agencies and budgets
