Job Title: Individual Giving Officer
• Department: Fundraising

1. Purpose of the Role
• Working with the Head of Fundraising develop programmes for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters.
• Maximise income across channels including direct mail, email, social media. Working with other team members to deliver this.
• Grow income stream from individual giving products such as appeals, raffles, lotteries and other individual giving products, such as our Pet Pen Sponsorship.
• Develop budgets and business plans and contribute to fundraising strategy.
• Manage and optimise supporter experience for retention, engagement, and cross-marketing.
• Analyse appeal results for continual improvement.
2. Principle Tasks
• Oversee the annual individual giving fundraising calendar and campaigns from start to finish.
• Plan and manage direct marketing and digital appeals, including supplier coordination.
• Conduct market research and maintain awareness of trends to inform innovation.
• Prepare budgets and monitor performance.
• Develop donor recruitment campaigns.
• Develop supporter journeys.
• Develop warm programmes.

The Role
This role is part of the Global Fundraising Team of over 50 staff. You will be responsible for planning and managing a digital fundraising portfolio including paid and organic advertising, Shop and eCommerce products, and Community and Events fundraising.

The Candidate
Track record of working on successful digital marketing, campaigns and communications ideally in a charity setting.
Experience of delivering digital marketing strategy and campaign management for lead generation, acquisition and retention that is audience-centric, rooted in insight and target driven.
Experience of working across a range of digital channels including paid and organic social media, Google Ads , web and email.
Hands-on experience of working with digital production, service providers and platforms to identify and deliver best-in-class digital solutions.
Experience of digital and data reporting and analysis, with track-record of acting on insights to achieve KPls and income targets.
Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders to support their digital marketing planning and communication delivery.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Campaigns and Mobilisation Officer to join on a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week.
Campaigning is at the heart of our mission to end the devastation caused by dementia, and this position is key to Alzheimer’s Society’s ambition to drive meaningful policy change across England, Northern Ireland, and Wales.
As Campaign and Mobilisation Officer you will be focussed on delivering impact focussed campaigns; including the mobilisation of audiences, to change policy at both a local and national level across England, Northern Ireland and Wales; making the case for dementia to be the priority it needs to be and ensuring policy objectives are implemented to improve the lives of people living with dementia.
You will help deliver our campaigning strategy, by deploying a range of online and offline tactics and ensuring that all campaigning action is mobilised to affect change in dementia at all levels. You will support and deliver campaigns that are collaborative and impact focused, working closely with other teams across the organisation, including, but not limited to, colleagues in External Relations, Marketing and Brand and Fundraising.

About you
Joining us, you’ll be able to combine skills across communications and influencing disciplines, along with technical ability related to the management of campaigning platforms and data handling. The Sales and Insights Manager leads on the management and development of the CRM database and ticketing system (Tessitura). The Marketing & Communications team is crucial to the success of the Almeida’s ambitious vision and the strategic priorities for the team include:
- Build and manage the brand of the Almeida Theatre across London, the UK and internationally.
- Take a strategic and data first approach to marketing and promoting the Almeida and its work in order to deliver income targets in excess of £3 million in ticket sales each year.
- Build and diversify the audience who experience our artistic programme and increase engagement levels among those currently least engaged in arts and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
CRM:
- Lead on management of Almeida’s central CRM database, Tessitura, and act as principal point of contact with Tessitura for all system maintenance, development, and upgrades.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Development teams to maximise the use of our CRM systems and ensure they are fit for purpose and align with the goals of the organisation.
- Ensure the CRM provides an effective sales funnel and is an efficient sales process.
- Work with the Box Office Manager to set up on-sales for new productions and events.
- Update the information and content in TNEW (online booking system), working Box Office Manager to ensure a smooth sales path.
- Work with the Development team to enhance our insight into current and prospective supporters. In particular, working to support Membership recruitment and retention, to encourage donations.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to produce audience segmentation strategies.
- Help troubleshoot queries or issues, related to Tessitura filtering those that cannot be resolved internally through to the Tessitura support.
- Provide support to all of the key departments within the Almeida which generate and use data, including set up of users, and provide training as required.
- Be a key part of the Almeida’s GDPR team ensuring all our data collection and processing complies with all current and future data protection legislation.
Sales, Insights and Data:
- Compile and deliver sales reports and analysis to relevant departments across the organisation, including senior and executive leadership, tailoring reports to suit a range of requirements.
- Monitor ticket inventory and introduce strategies for managing ticket holds.
- Provide up-to-date data analysis and reporting on marketing activities to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Use sales data analysis to advise the Director of Marketing and Communications on ticket pricing strategies.
- Manage our digital audience survey (Survey Monkey) and Arts Council data collection platform (Illuminate), collating and reporting on the results and evaluation of campaigns and audiences.
- Help guide the Almeida’s audience development strategy through customer research and data analysis relating to existing and new audiences.
- Support other departments with data collection and analysis.
Other duties:
- Be jointly responsible for the accuracy of all marketing communications, maintaining the theatre brand at all times, and advocating for this across the organisation.

Role: Digital Acquisition Advisor
The Digital Acquisition Advisor will take the lead in planning, delivering, and optimising paid search campaigns (across Google and Microsoft) and paid social activity, with a particular emphasis on Meta platforms, to advance Christian Aid’s mission. Leveraging your expertise in digital strategy and performance marketing, you’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to run data-informed campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and increase income.

The role:
- Lead the end-to-end management of paid search and paid social campaigns, overseeing briefing, planning, creative development, budgeting, execution, and reporting across multiple platforms.
- Oversee day-to-day digital marketing operations across all paid channels, including Meta, TikTok, affiliate networks, and YouTube. Responsibilities include updating creatives, optimizing bid strategies, and producing in-depth performance reports.
- Execute paid search campaigns on Google and Microsoft Ads using a variety of formats, such as Standard Search, Performance Max, and Shopping campaigns—ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Manage the Google Grants account to maintain strong visibility across Christian Aid’s key focus areas.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to design and implement a robust digital acquisition strategy aimed at driving user growth and increasing revenue.
About you:

- Proven ability to take a long-term, strategic view of paid channels, leading and influencing key decisions around budget allocation and overall campaign direction.

- Skilled in providing strategic recommendations that optimise performance and deliver measurable, high-impact results.
- Proven expertise in managing and optimising paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) with at least three years of experience, either in-house or on the agency side, leveraging advanced targeting techniques such as custom and lookalike audiences.
- Proven expertise in managing and optimising paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including Google Grants accounts, with over three years of experience in-house or agency-side. Skilled in applying tactics such as keyword intent targeting, audience segmentation, comprehensive testing frameworks, and automated bidding strategies.
- Hands-on experience with ads creation using creative tools such as Canva and Photoshop and collaborating with creative agencies to develop compelling ad creatives for acquisition campaigns

About the capital project
The Playhouse Capital Development project is progressing through RIBA stage 3 with a design freeze now implemented. Work will continue to bring together a final stage 3 report which will give clear costings and timeframes for the project, before submitting a formal planning application at the end of October 2025. We anticipate that following this we will seek final approval to progress to RIBA stage 4 and commit to a start date for mid 2027 and a schedule of works that will see the project completed before 2029.
About this role
This part time (average 3 days per week) fixed term role has been created to work cross organisation and to work collaboratively with a new-look Development team to secure additional funding to realise this transformational capital project.
The person will play a pivotal role in our capital fundraising campaign, delivering the fundraising strategy behind this transformative initiative. Working closely with the Assistant Director, Development & Partnerships, senior leadership, trustees, the development team and funders, the postholder will manage the key milestones towards a successful a capital campaign that will transform the theatre’s facilities and secure its long-term future.

You should have experience of fundraising for capital projects and a strong understanding of the requirements of time sensitive capital projects for cultural or charitable purposes. You will have experience of planning and delivering major fundraising events for capital targets e.g. gala dinners and auctions.
