Job Purpose
This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. The Giving Engagement Officer (Retention) will support the Giving Engagement Manager to implement multi-channel (mail, telemarketing, web and email) donor retention campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, creative accuracy, and effective stakeholder coordination.
You will be responsible for managing campaign schedules, supporting the creative and data processes, and ensuring delivery partners are aligned. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their fundraising or campaign delivery experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Coordination
· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.
· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.
· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.
Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management
- Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
- Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.
Digital & Email Communications
- Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
- Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.
Donor Stewardship
- Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
- Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.

Main purpose of post
As Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer, you will play a vital role in
growing the online presence of Weston Park Cancer Charity and deepening
engagement with supporters, clients, and the wider public, ensuring our
message reaches the right audiences in the most effective ways.
You’ll have prime responsibility for managing our social media channels,
supporting the rest of our Marketing team to create digital content and
campaigns that raise awareness, promote fundraising, and share the stories of
those we support.
This is a hands-on, creative role that would suit someone passionate about
social media, digital marketing, and making a difference in the lives of others.
This role will:
• Support the develop of and implement social media strategies to
increase engagement, reach and donations.
• Have prime responsibility for the charity’s social media channels
(Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok), ensuring consistent,
engaging, and mission-led content – planning, scheduling and
publishing content.
• Manage the digital marketing content calendar and coordinate content
with the Marketing team.
• Create a variety of digital content, including graphics, videos, reels,
stories, blogs, and animations.
• Monitor and, where appropriate, respond to, and engage with followers
and messages, providing a warm and professional tone, ensuring
messaging is in line with the Weston Park Cancer Charity tone of voice.
• Coordinate paid social media campaigns using Meta Business Suite.
• Track performance metrics and provide reports on engagement, growth,
and reach, making recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create, develop and execute
digital marketing campaigns for awareness, fundraising, and service
promotion.
• Assist with keeping the charity’s website content up to date
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and manage the charity’s regular
e-newsletter using tools such as Mailchimp.
• Assist with Google Analytics and Google Ads.
• Ensure all content is inclusive, accessible, and aligned with brand
guidelines and values.
• Stay up to date with trends in digital communication and identify

At Blood Cancer UK, we’re support and campaign for everyone affected by blood cancer. Our digital support services help people feel informed, connected, and supported, no matter where they live in the UK.
As Digital Support Services Officer, you’ll help ensure that people affected by blood cancer can access reliable information and peer support through a range of digital platforms. You’ll lead the day-to-day running of our online community forum, support and coordinate volunteers, and work across teams to help develop and improve our support offer. You’ll use data and insights to enable us to reach more people and provide the best possible support.
You’ll be confident in digital environments and committed to making support accessible and inclusive. The PR and Communications Manager will explore innovative methods to promote the brand and its activities to the right audiences through targeted campaigns, significantly contributing to the fundraising efforts of the organisation. Responsibilities to Include:
PR & Media
· Enhance the charity’s profile among targeted audiences through strategic PR activities and diverse media channels, both B2C and B2B.
· Proactively cultivate, build and maintain relationships with media partners at local, regional, and national levels in both trade and consumer media, including print, online, and broadcast platforms, as well as with individual journalists.
· Write compelling and clear press releases, blogs, articles, and statements to effectively communicate our messages.
· Respond promptly to press enquiries for comments, views, and supporting information, and maximise opportunities for further engagement on relevant topics.
· Support the fundraising team by highlighting partner stories, managing PR efforts, and supporting events.
· Lead the pursuit of media-related funding opportunities, such as The Times and Sunday Times Christmas Appeal and corporate opportunities like BGC and ICAP days.

· Handle crisis communications professionally and efficiently, maintaining the charity’s reputation.
· Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (including funders) to ensure consistent and effective communication across all channels.

About this role
The Communications and Media Officer, part of SPANA’s Communications and Campaigns team, creates high-quality content and drives impactful communications to support the charity’s mission and raise the profile of working animals in the global news agenda.
The role involves producing engaging written, digital and visual content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency with SPANA’s brand and messaging. It also includes managing and cataloguing content assets to support the organisation’s ongoing communications needs. Through compelling storytelling and collaboration across teams, the role helps drive awareness, advocacy, fundraising and internal engagement. Contract, location and salary
This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. SPANA works on a hybrid basis, with staff required to work for 1-2 days per month (or more if preferred) from our London office. Staff must be based in the UK with the current right to work.
The salary for this role is approximately £33,000 per annum subject to skills and experience. SPANA offers a generous package of benefits to employees, including a pension scheme where SPANA contributes 10% if the employee contributes at least 5%, healthcare cash plan and volunteer day.

The role:
We are looking for an experienced, resilient, and proactive Social Media Support Officer to join our digital team during a crucial phase of Dignity in Dying’s campaign. You’ll be responsible for driving high-impact, engaging social media content that supports our strategic goals and energises our growing supporter and stakeholder audiences across key platforms.
This role will primarily be focused on Dignity in Dying’s campaign, but over time there is scope for the role grow and take on more of Compassion in Dying’s social media delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Create compelling, campaign-aligned content for X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Bluesky, using existing messaging, framing and personal stories, posting frequently. Engage with accounts with a range of views to challenge misinformation and advance our core messaging.
- Support the creation of dynamic video content and imagery, including vox pops, for social media, including basic editing and captioning.
- Manage our online communities with empathy and sensitivity, identifying new campaigners, people with personal experience, and key stakeholders to get involved in the campaign.
- Collaborate with our campaigns team and agency partners to deliver coordinated set piece social activity, including influencer and ally engagement.
- Run reactive and real-time comms on social media with excellent judgement and fact-checking instincts.
- Integrate social content into wider supporter journeys, alongside email and web communications, including scheduling social media posts.
- Provide support to the Campaigns and Communications Support Officer and Digital Content Officer including drafting and sending email communications and creating content when required.
About you:
- Proven track record in delivering social media for campaigning organisations, political organisations, or high-impact causes.
- Skilled copywriter and content creator with an eye for storytelling and visual comms.
- Experienced in community management and comfortable handling controversial or emotive topics online.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new senior role within our organisation. The Interim Head of Research and Campaigns will lead our Research function and advocacy efforts, ensuring that evidence-based insights drive our campaigns, policy work, and public engagement.
Recently kicking off our new ‘Creating Positive Change Together’ strategy, coproduced by over 130 staff, volunteers, clients and partners, Groundswell has ambitious plans around influencing more change and amplifying voices to promote healthier lives and a better future for anyone who has experienced homelessness. This role directly aligns with these strategic plans, to refine and use innovative participatory research centring lived experience, share and amplify insight from people with experience of homelessness, and increase our campaigning activities to change systems and break down the barriers that stand in people’s way to a healthier life and more hopeful future.
This role has been created on an interim basis to assess its impact and effectiveness, with a key focus on reviewing the priorities, progression and support of our Research Team and making recommendations for the future regarding this new role.
