Role Purpose
This role is focused on maximising comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio, supporting GDI Hub’s growing outreach across project-based deliverables and organisational comms channels (e.g. social media, websites, content generation).
The post holder will work closely across GDI Hub comms team to support delivery across the organisational portfolio – with a focus on key regular outputs, reactive queries and organisational communications. This role will involve both administrative tasks, and creative content generation, at an anticipated volume of 50% per area.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative, communications and digital skills, with a passion for building impact and reach. The candidate will need the experience to deliver public facing comms outputs, while also building personable relationships. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential, as it a streamlined, can-do approach.
Role Responsibilities - Driving comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio
The successful applicant will work across GDI Hub’s Community Interest Company and Academic Research Centre liaising with all areas of the organisation to support the communications function as we look to translate project, programme and research outputs into public facing content for GDI Hub’s multi-million-pound global programmes, research and sector expertise.

About you
As our in-house digital analytics expert, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of providing data-driven insights, analysis and recommendations to help continuously improve the performance of digital channels and campaigns. You will be skilled at communicating complex ideas simply and effectively and making recommendations to colleagues across the charity.
You will be proficient in various analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics 4 and Bing Analytics), and email and social media tracking tools, with experience in drafting clear, concise reports and in providing considered recommendations based on your insights.
You will also be confident using Google Data Studio/Looker, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar and various SEO tools. You will have a sound working knowledge of cookie compliance and take on the role of team lead for ensuring GDPR compliance and organisational confidence across paid media plans.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced storyteller to show the impact of live music in healthcare through the voices of the charity’s diverse community. The Role
You will build trust with people the charity is sharing a story on behalf of and foster lasting relationships. You will manage media contacts, seeking out relevant opportunities in the press and work with partners on features.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Lead on storytelling - writing effective and powerful stories to meet the needs of different functions, including fundraising materials, direct marketing, social media, sector reports and events, press opportunities, website features and publications.

The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our fast-growing Fundraising Team, and leading our new business efforts by identifying, cultivating and securing new corporate partnerships at the six and seven-figure level as well as playing an active part in the wider team’s endeavours to secure and uplift our corporate partnerships.

Key responsibilities:
· Build cases for support to engage funders. · Identify corporate partnership opportunities. This will involve conducting research to manage and grow a pipeline of corporate partnerships opportunities worth £50k+ and/or with significant media and communications value.
· Develop cultivation plans for key prospects and target industries to increase support for the Childhood Trust.
· Proactively approach and build new relationships with corporates, securing and attending meetings.
· Develop and deliver high quality communications to secure new corporate partnerships. For example, this could include brochures, proposals, and pitches which communicate the charity’s work, strategy, and a case for why companies should support the Childhood Trust.
· Work collaboratively with the Account Management team to embed new partnerships to ensure they are managed appropriately.
· Contribute to setting the annual budget and carrying out regular review of the pipeline
· Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of The Childhood Trust’s strategic goals.
Person Specification:
· Proven track record of personally soliciting corporate partnerships at the six-figure level and above
· Experience of dealing with C-suite individuals and senior volunteers
· Excellent personal presentation and communication skills, and attention to detail
· High level of numeracy, IT literacy and competence
· Experience of budget setting and monitoring
· Use of Salesforce

About the role
This hands-on role will lead the implementation of global communications strategies for ITF’s Land and

The LAS Communications Manager will work closely with the industrial sections and affiliates to push forward a union-led agenda for the aviation and inland transport industries.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, this role will work collaboratively to deliver and evaluate forward-thinking communication strategies for these industrial work programs and their priority campaigns. You will be part of delivering solidarity and support to local, national and global disputes, building communications that reinforce the critical role transport workers in the land and air industries play, developing strategies to support union-led policies on everything from health and safety to sustainability, and raising the volume on the global struggle to advance the rights and equalities of the world’s transport workers.

What you’ll do

The role will involve casework and advocacy on behalf of clients to local authorities, housing associations and private landlords, as well as giving one off advice by telephone, email or at outreach sessions.

You will be confident in giving advice over the phone and digitally as well as providing casework support to clients. About the Senior Uniformed Events Officer role:
We are currently seeking an experienced events professional to join our busy Operations team to coordinate, deliver and promote MSSC uniformed events. Based at our London NSC, the Senior Uniformed Events Officer will be responsible for delivering a series of existing events and for identifying opportunities to expand the event calendar by developing effective strategies and plans designed to maximise the charities profile. The role demands an organised and flexible approach to work including evening and weekends.
Responsibilities as our Senior Uniformed Events Officer will include:
- Ensuring that eventse.g. Armed Forces Day, Trafalgar Day Parade, Belgium Cenotaph Parade, RN Carol Service (and the uniformed elements of other events) are properly organised to produce optimum benefit in raising the profile and maximising the reputation of the charity
- Working alongside other team memberse.g. Events and Competitions Manager in the delivery of nonand uniformed events and support competitions where appropriate
- Effectively liaising with all levels of staff within MSSC departments, areas and both uniformed and non-uniformed personnel within MSSC, to ensure the smooth and safe running of national eventsand your support of national competitions
- Managing MODNET laptops for MSSC employees and limited RN personnel
- Developing uniformed eventsand competition support that, enables, and conforms to the charity’s latest objectives and strategy
- Ensuring that all allocated uniformed events and national competition support undertaken conform to the charities Policies, Procedures and other associated documentation. Including the management of the competitive experience via documented and rules
- Ensuring that both the CSC and DDOps are regularly informed of progress and opportunities thereinand attend regular meetingsand updates as required
Requirements needed to become our Senior Uniformed Events Officer:
- Two years’ experience of managing uniformed events
- Experience of developing and implementing a variety of uniformed events from small intimate receptions to large public facing engagements with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience/knowledge working in a uniformed youth environment
- Experience of working with volunteers
- Experience of managing complex uniformed events budgets
- Uniformed role with a MOD Sponsored Cadet Force
