You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering our portfolio of mass participation and challenge events, ensuring excellent supporter experiences and sustainable income growth.
The role will lead on recruiting and supporting event participants across a mixed portfolio (including guaranteed places, third-party event and challenge providers, international challenge events and CCLG-owned events such as our Big Hike. You’ll also take a pro-active role in growing CCLG’s own events programme, identifying, testing and helping to scale new opportunities, while maintaining strong reporting, compliance and supporter care.
Events fundraising is a key area of growth for CCLG, and we’re looking for a passionate, focused and driven individual to support the team to make our ambitious growth plans a reality.
We’re looking for a confident communicator, with strong organisation skills, who’ll use their own initiative and ability to manage a varied workload. You’ll be self-driven, motivated by achieving targets and delivering the best possible supporter experience. The role involves project management and innovation, and you’ll be responsible for confidently driving projects forward, whilst confidently managing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with an expectation of two days per week in our Leicester office.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our research grant programmes across the entire funding cycle, from application and peer review through to award management and post-award administration. You’ll work closely with the Head of Research, internal teams, external experts, and funded researchers to maintain high standards of governance, transparency, and impact across all our research funding activities.

Alive Activities is seeking an experienced, compassionate and community-focused individual to deliver an innovative new programme supporting older people living with both cancer and dementia, particularly within Black Caribbean and South Asian communities.
This exciting new role will lead the delivery of Same Mind, Same Body — a community-led project designed to record cancer care experiences, investigate inequalities, and share findings with stakeholders Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. You will be working closely with a project coordinator from the Bristol Pakistani Community Welfare Organisation.
Working alongside community organisations, healthcare professionals and people with lived experience, you will help:
- Identify barriers within cancer and dementia care pathways
- Build trusted relationships with underserved communities
- Co-design culturally responsive and dementia-friendly solutions
- Pilot new approaches to support, communication and care navigation
- Share findings with stakeholders

The Campaign Manager will lead the development and delivery of engaging, audience-focused campaigns that raise awareness of the charity, increase understanding of cancer support services, promote grant-giving programmes, and help drive fundraising growth across the region.
The role will focus on bringing the charity’s impact to life through powerful storytelling, creative campaigns, and compelling content that demonstrates how the charity supports people affected by cancer and invests in hospitals, healthcare services, and local communities.
Working across fundraising, services, and communications, the Campaign Manager will develop integrated campaigns that inspire support, strengthen community engagement, and increase the visibility and reach of the charity.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Development & Delivery
• Develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns that support the charity’s strategic priorities and objectives.
• Create awareness campaigns that promote the charity brand, support services, fundraising activities, and grant-giving programmes.

We are looking for a CRM Specialist to maintain and develop Blood Cancer UK’s CRM, ensuring high-quality, reliable and compliant data that enables teams across the organisation to deliver against our strategy. The successful candidate will be confident working with relational databases and CRM systems, with strong SQL and Excel skills and a keen eye for detail. FORCE Cancer Charity is seeking an experienced Events Fundraiser (fixed term for 12 months) to join our friendly and dedicated Income Generation team. This role is central to delivering and growing our events programme, generating vital income to support people affected by cancer across Exeter and the wider Devon community.
You will take the lead on planning, managing and delivering our existing in‑house events, including our flagship Nello Cycle Ride, while also developing new fundraising opportunities through events, campaigns and supporter‑led activities. FORCE Cancer Charity is seeking a Community Fundraiser to join our Income Generation team. This is a rewarding role, focused on building relationships with supporters, growing fundraising income and raising awareness of FORCE and our work across Exeter and the wider Devon community.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, organised and personable individual with strong relationship-building and communication skills. You may already have experience within fundraising or be able to demonstrate transferable skills from a customer-facing, community engagement, sales, or relationship management background. What the job involves
We’re looking for an ambitious fundraiser to join our Philanthropy team, capitalising on recent growth and with the chance to really make your mark. Your role is to engage influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK, connecting them to the difference they can make to thousands of men facing prostate cancer. You’ll lead on our established high value giving club, ‘The Pioneers’, and be creative with developing and growing membership and income for this product.
Providing the highest level of stewardship, you’ll ensure existing and new supporters feel valued, inspiring them to make five and six figure gifts, which will significantly improve the lives of men facing prostate cancer and their families. You’ll also harness the support of our enthusiastic and influential Trustees, Senior Volunteers and Leadership Team, involving them when appropriate.

What we want from you
You’ll bring strong experience within a philanthropy fundraising environment, including a solid understanding of solicitation stages and effective engagement techniques. You’ll have a proven track record of securing five-figure gifts and ideally experience working with major donors and/or trusts, with the credibility and confidence to build lasting relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trustees and senior stakeholders.
A natural collaborator, you’ll combine a strong team ethic with the flexibility and drive needed to achieve ambitious targets. You’ll be an excellent communicator, with the influencing and negotiation skills to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities, you’ll be able to balance the stewardship of existing supporters with the cultivation of new prospects. You’ll be comfortable working both strategically and in detail, from shaping individual engagement plans to supporting the growth of giving clubs or membership schemes as a key driver of future income and impact so we can save more men’s lives.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

Job Summary for Volunteering Assistant
The Volunteering Assistant supports the Head of Volunteering in delivering the organisation’s strategy by strengthening volunteer management, engagement, and development. Working across departments, the role ensures smooth day-to-day volunteering operations, supports both volunteers and role managers, and contributes to projects that enhance the overall volunteer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the volunteering function, including managing the volunteering inbox and maintaining accurate data
- Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and engagement activities across programmes
- Assist role managers and volunteers, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and processes
- Coordinate volunteer events, communications, and recognition initiatives
- Maintain systems and resources (e.g., intranet/SharePoint) to ensure up-to-date information
- Monitor engagement metrics and contribute to improvements in volunteer experience

About the role
The role is responsible for the management and development of Here for You’s geographical reach with NHS Trusts and other partner organisations and leading on streamlining our engagement processes across services and collaborating with partners. Here for You provides people diagnosed with breast cancer personalised and timely access to all of Breast Cancer Now’s trusted information and specialist support via a single healthcare professional referral.
The postholder will lead on the creation of evidence-based improvements to our processes with partners and is responsible for implementing our engagement framework, business plans and action plans. This role includes the line management of a small team based in different locations and liaising with a wider team across the UK

Location, hybrid working and salary range
This role is primarily based in our London or Sheffield office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.
The salary range is:
£38,000 to £40,000 per annum if Sheffield based
£40,000 to £42,000 per annum if London based

The Audience Insight Specialist will be an internal leader, building our capability to understand our core audiences and the people we need to reach to achieve our strategic goals. You will support a cultural shift in how the charity takes an audience-led approach to planning, decision-making, and communications, as our CRM, data infrastructure, and Strategy & Insight functions continue to develop. Making best use of internal and external sources, you will distil data into meaningful insight, tailored to different audiences. You will support a consistent approach to audiences across the organisation, while flexing to meet the needs of different teams, ensuring that any understanding of audience is rooted in evidence.
